Had a old out-house with a felt roof on and it was leaking , someone I know recommended the Original Roofing Company and Ryen was rapid with his response and solution , he suggested to go with a fibreglass product and I couldn’t be more happier with the result , I would highly recommend

I initially contacted the Original Roofing Company to provide a report on the condition of a roof for a property sale. They were very responsive and were able to visit the next day as time was of the essence. They carried out a drone survey and looked at the internal structure. They provided their report promptly. We then decided to go ahead with the work- they were able to do the work to our timetable (ie. Soon) and arranged for scaffolding to go up. Ryen communicated well with photos and videos attached- on closer inspection further work was needed (the video made this clear). The main work was the renewal of a box gutter. Photos were sent during the work and we had telephone discussions to narrow down what was to be done. The roof was also cleaned of moss thoroughly and ridge tiles repointed. The original inspection fee was deducted from the final bill as we had proceeded with the work. The experience was made as smooth as it could be.

This is the second time I have used the service of the original roofing company. I have found Chris, Ryen and their team to be very professional. When I called Chris out on both occasions to give me a quote on my roof. I was given a detailed quote which gave me advice on how I could improve on my property and get it up to building regulations. There was no pressure at any time for me to take the advice. It was always our choice . The workmanship is extremely high quality. I would without a doubt recommend the original roofing company. Ryen and their team are very professionally, polite , friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Chris and Ryen made be feel at ease throughout my roof project. They kept me up to date if there were any changes in the plan. I fully intend to use the original Roofing Company for any more work in the future.

I contacted The Original Roofing Company for a quote for roof vent tiles and Chris and Ryen organised a mutually convenient time to visit, inspect our roof, and sent a quote out promptly and efficiently. They were very patient with us whilst we added and removed other work to and from the quote and gave us time and detailed explanations on what was required, what it would look like and the guarantees associated with the work. Once agreed the work started very promptly (within days) and they use a very professional scaffolding company who were polite, quick, quiet and communicative. The roofers from the Original Roofing Company are not subcontracted; worked hard, diligently and professionally at all times and always had time to answer any questions. They worked tidily and cleared up after themselves every day. At the end of each day, Ryen would update me on the day's work with photos and video-explainers as required and always checked with me about any minor and/or major advisories that cropped up during their work. Ryen was always honest, fair, and transparent about pricing, what was and wasn't necessary, and anything that could not be completed to the required standard (we requested removal of previous spilt paint from brickwork which was not possible despite Ryen and his team's best efforts) was removed from the final invoice. I would highly recommend The Original Roofing Company and will use them for any future work as required.

The Original Roofing Company fixed my leaking flat roof - they were efficient, professional and reliable. They cleaned up brilliantly after the job, including my neighbour’s front yard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

All the staff involved were excellent. Once we agreed to the quote they came around to check access for the scaffolding and kept us informed at all times. The scaffolding crew and the roofers not only did an excellent job but kept us informed about what was happening at all times. Aftercare service was also excellent

The team changed my old gutters to uPVC and whilst they were up there cleaned my roof of morse and sealed up cracks that had emerged over the years. Very happy with their work and would recommend.

We got a quote sorted quickly that we were happy with, Chris gave us a great run down of the issues and what needed sorting and was very knowledgeable. The lads worked really hard themselves. We had our entire tiled roof, soffits, fascia and drain pipes replaced on our 3 bed semi-detached house, as well as new velux windows and insulation installed in our loft. We were very nervous about finding a roofing company that we could trust to undertake this large project. However, Ryen and his team really put us at ease. He explained the process and delivered from start to finish. They kept to the promised timescales and ensured we were updated throughout with regular pictures, videos and visits. They made helpful suggestions as they went (eg painting and finishing touches) but in an unpressurised manner. They promptly answered all of our questions throughout and after completion. They ensured the house was looked after and tidied up at the end. I couldn’t compliment their levels of communication and professionalism enough. What we anticipated to be a very stressful experience was anything but… and so straightforward! I would strongly recommend the Original Roofing Company if you are looking to do similar work.

Having used Original Roofing before, I rang them when I had a slipped roof tile. Phone answered straight away and arranged for them to come following day. Replaced tile and checked rest of roof. Very efficient and friendly. Would certainly recommend them and will used them for future work.

I called The Original Roofing Company the same day I noticed one of the tiles had fallen from my roof. I had to leave a message on their answerphone but I did get a call back within an hour. None of the other firms I called bothered to reply. I explained the problem and after telling me the estimated price for the repair they agreed to attend the following day. It's difficult for trades to know an exact time they will arrive at a job and it's not easy for a client to juggle their routine, but I had no problem communicating with Chris at The Original Roofing Company and Ryen and his team arrived the following day as promised in the mid afternoon. Ryen could see where the damage had occurred, showed me the tile he was going to use as a replacement and explained why the tile had come loose in the recent high winds. The work was completed quickly - the tile replaced and sealed - and the job looked neat from the ground. 24 hours of panic about the potential damage was dispelled by a friendly, efficient team and competitive pricing. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them.

Chris and his team replaced an old felt garage roof with new felt. Work was completed in the time allocated and all debris cleared away. The team worked hard and were polite and courteous. I would recommend this company.

I have used this company twice to work on my roof, with the first time a very quick response to an emergency call out. Having recently purchased the property I was aware of a number of roof issues that needed attending to. The company very kindly reviewed the survey and advised on various options available to correct these. The issues included chimney stack & pot repairs, repointing valleys, repairing/replacing guttering and moss removal. The company was able to provide different solutions to resolve the issues, clearly outlining the costs, benefits and suitability for my requirements. At all times I have found the company to be professional, responsive, open and client focused. I am very pleased with the work that the team carried out, and I would not hesitate to use again.

Our flat garage roof felt needed replacing with new fibreglass layers. The work was completed as per the quote and completed ahead of time. This was a complicated task given the weather and finding other issues during the work. Ryen fixed leaks round my chimneys which a previous roofer had been unable to resolve. The damp patches disappeared from the bedroom walls for the first time in about 2 years, which was a great relief. He also visited promptly to repair storm damage, replacing a fallen ridge tile. When a local builder reported slipped and missing tiles on the roof, he came out to check and honestly told me there was nothing wrong.

Ryen and Chris returned my call quickly to arrange a time to give me a quote to replace some broken roof tiles. They turned up on time and gave me a reasonable quote which I accepted. They managed to squeeze me in a few days later and again turned up when expected with a further text to advise they were on their way. They were professional, friendly and sorted this out with no fuss or issues. The noted a further problem with my roof which has not been touched in 20 years and will send photos with a further quote. Chris and the team did a fantastic job fixing my flat roof. The lead time was super quick from agreeing quote - 1 week, and job completed in a few days. Good workmanship laying a GRP roof covering over an existing EPDM that had failed. Professional and courteous team. Would use it again.

Having noticed some loose tiles and a crack in a chimney flaunching/render (and being unable to get a word-of-mouth recommendation for a local roofer) I searched the internet and found details for the Original Roofing Organisation. Chris came round to assess the work needed and gave an approx. a quote which he followed up in writing soon after. I found him to be approachable and genuinely interested in making the roof watertight. He was able to fit me into his busy (rain-affected) schedule and the work went ahead and was completed in several stages - the repairs involved repointing the ridge and hips, relaunching and render repair to two chimneys, replacing broken tiles and organising scaffolding. I felt Chris went the extra mile to get the work finished (and scaffolding removed) in good time before Christmas. His son and the rest of the roofing team were friendly, hard-working and happy to answer all my questions and concerns. The scaffolders were courteous, tidy and fast. I will use Chris again for any further roofing work.
