I have used The Original Roofing Company in the passed to completely replace a flat roof on an extension of our property. As the price and finish of their work was excellent, I had know hesitation on asking them to provide me with an estimate to replace all existing guttering and down pipes. The standard of any work must always reflect the overall cost and for that reason I selected them again. As before they attended promptly and resolved a number of unexpected issues, not originally included within my request. They were quick, efficient, friendly and very competitive with their final quote. I would be more than happy to use their services again and have no hesitation recommending them for the professional and cost effective work they offer.

Having used Original Roofing before, I rang them when I had a slipped roof tile. Phone answered straight away and arranged for them to come following day. Replaced tile and checked rest of roof. Very efficient and friendly. Would certainly recommend them and will used them for future work.

I contacted The Original Roofing Company for a quote for roof vent tiles and Chris and Ryen organised a mutually convenient time to visit, inspect our roof, and sent a quote out promptly and efficiently. They were very patient with us whilst we added and removed other work to and from the quote and gave us time and detailed explanations on what was required, what it would look like and the guarantees associated with the work. Once agreed the work started very promptly (within days) and they use a very professional scaffolding company who were polite, quick, quiet and communicative. The roofers from the Original Roofing Company are not subcontracted; worked hard, diligently and professionally at all times and always had time to answer any questions. They worked tidily and cleared up after themselves every day. At the end of each day, Ryen would update me on the day's work with photos and video-explainers as required and always checked with me about any minor and/or major advisories that cropped up during their work. Ryen was always honest, fair, and transparent about pricing, what was and wasn't necessary, and anything that could not be completed to the required standard (we requested removal of previous spilt paint from brickwork which was not possible despite Ryen and his team's best efforts) was removed from the final invoice. I would highly recommend The Original Roofing Company and will use them for any future work as required.

The Original Roofing Company fixed my leaking flat roof - they were efficient, professional and reliable. They cleaned up brilliantly after the job, including my neighbour’s front yard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

I initially contacted the Original Roofing Company to provide a report on the condition of a roof for a property sale. They were very responsive and were able to visit the next day as time was of the essence. They carried out a drone survey and looked at the internal structure. They provided their report promptly. We then decided to go ahead with the work- they were able to do the work to our timetable (ie. Soon) and arranged for scaffolding to go up. Ryen communicated well with photos and videos attached- on closer inspection further work was needed (the video made this clear). The main work was the renewal of a box gutter. Photos were sent during the work and we had telephone discussions to narrow down what was to be done. The roof was also cleaned of moss thoroughly and ridge tiles repointed. The original inspection fee was deducted from the final bill as we had proceeded with the work. The experience was made as smooth as it could be.

The company recently completed the rendering and painting of our house exterior on our end of terrace property. Ryen and Chris were very detailed in their quotation and followed this through to the finish. They were excellent workers under difficult heatwave weather conditions. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Chris Marrable gave me a quote for work which he stuck to. In doing the job he found additional repairs were neccessary and demonstrated them with photos. After I agreed he should carry them out he completed them the next day, fitting me in his busy schedule. Chris and his mate worked hard all day long and the finished work is very neat and they cleared up all the mess.

I would thoroughly recommend this company. They firstly provided a temporary fix to stop our roof leaking and then completed the full job shortly afterwards. They provided quotes quickly, stuck to the price quoted and completed the jobs shortly after we agreed the quotes. I have already had additional work completed on the flat roof and intend to use them for other work which they quoted on. Chris and Robert fixed a leak we had in my roof. I spoke with them and made a appointment, they turned up on time and took time assessing the issue. They fully explained the issue with me and went to work straight away. They kept me up to date with the progress. They worked hard and were very professional. They tidied up when they finished and made sure everything was ok with me. They are two very hard working men. A few weeks after they fixed the problem they connected me to make sure everything was ok, which I thought was a nice thing to do. They just really look after their customers. Having suddenly found myself with a major problem with the roof, Chris came over within an hour on a Sunday afternoon to offer advice, which was invaluable. I received a quote the following day for a number of options and I decided on a complete re-tile. Work commenced the day after giving my go-ahead. Any questions were answered to my satisfaction and I was offered multiple choices on tiles with explanations of their pros and cons. The workforce were polite and considerate and the work was explained to me in detail. Despite periods of bad weather which hindered progress, the work was completed on schedule. The end result looks great.

Having noticed some loose tiles and a crack in a chimney flaunching/render (and being unable to get a word-of-mouth recommendation for a local roofer) I searched the internet and found details for the Original Roofing Organisation. Chris came round to assess the work needed and gave an approx. a quote which he followed up in writing soon after. I found him to be approachable and genuinely interested in making the roof watertight. He was able to fit me into his busy (rain-affected) schedule and the work went ahead and was completed in several stages - the repairs involved repointing the ridge and hips, relaunching and render repair to two chimneys, replacing broken tiles and organising scaffolding. I felt Chris went the extra mile to get the work finished (and scaffolding removed) in good time before Christmas. His son and the rest of the roofing team were friendly, hard-working and happy to answer all my questions and concerns. The scaffolders were courteous, tidy and fast. I will use Chris again for any further roofing work.

I have used this company twice to work on my roof, with the first time a very quick response to an emergency call out. Having recently purchased the property I was aware of a number of roof issues that needed attending to. The issues included chimney stack & pot repairs, repointing valleys, repairing/replacing guttering and moss removal. None of the other firms I called bothered to reply. I explained the problem and after telling me the estimated price for the repair they agreed to attend the following day. It's difficult for trades to know an exact time they will arrive at a job and it's not easy for a client to juggle their routine, but I had no problem communicating with Chris at The Original Roofing Company and Ryen and his team arrived the following day as promised in the mid afternoon. Ryen could see where the damage had occurred, showed me the tile he was going to use as a replacement and explained why the tile had come loose in the recent high winds. The work was completed quickly - the tile replaced and sealed - and the job looked neat from the ground. 24 hours of panic about the potential damage was dispelled by a friendly, efficient team and competitive pricing. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them.

The team changed my old gutters to uPVC and whilst they were up there cleaned my roof of morse and sealed up cracks that had emerged over the years. Very happy with their work and would recommend.
