Really happy with the work done by Chris and his team. We got a quote sorted quickly that we were happy with, Chris gave us a great run down of the issues and what needed sorting and was very knowledgeable. The lads worked really hard themselves. The roof looks great and the issues we had are sorted, and price was good. Would recommend to anyone.

We had our entire tiled roof, soffits, fascia and drain pipes replaced on our 3 bed semi-detached house, as well as new velux windows and insulation installed in our loft. We were very nervous about finding a roofing company that we could trust to undertake this large project. However, Ryen and his team really put us at ease. He explained the process and delivered from start to finish. They kept to the promised timescales and ensured we were updated throughout with regular pictures, videos and visits. They made helpful suggestions as they went (eg painting and finishing touches) but in an unpressurised manner. They promptly answered all of our questions throughout and after completion. They ensured the house was looked after and tidied up at the end. I couldn’t compliment their levels of communication and professionalism enough. What we anticipated to be a very stressful experience was anything but… and so straightforward! I would strongly recommend the Original Roofing Company if you are looking to do similar work.

Having used Original Roofing before, I rang them when I had a slipped roof tile. Phone answered straight away and arranged for them to come following day. Replaced tile and checked rest of roof. Very efficient and friendly. Would certainly recommend them and will used them for future work.

I called The Original Roofing Company the same day I noticed one of the tiles had fallen from my roof. I had to leave a message on their answerphone but I did get a call back within an hour. None of the other firms I called bothered to reply. I explained the problem and after telling me the estimated price for the repair they agreed to attend the following day. It's difficult for trades to know an exact time they will arrive at a job and it's not easy for a client to juggle their routine, but I had no problem communicating with Chris at The Original Roofing Company and Ryen and his team arrived the following day as promised in the mid afternoon. Ryen could see where the damage had occurred, showed me the tile he was going to use as a replacement and explained why the tile had come loose in the recent high winds. The work was completed quickly - the tile replaced and sealed - and the job looked neat from the ground. 24 hours of panic about the potential damage was dispelled by a friendly, efficient team and competitive pricing. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them.

Chris and his team replaced an old felt garage roof with new felt. Work was completed in the time allocated and all debris cleared away. The team worked hard and were polite and courteous. I would recommend this company.

I have used this company twice to work on my roof, with the first time a very quick response to an emergency call out. Having recently purchased the property I was aware of a number of roof issues that needed attending to. The company very kindly reviewed the survey and advised on various options available to correct these. The issues included chimney stack & pot repairs, repointing valleys, repairing/replacing guttering and moss removal. The company was able to provide different solutions to resolve the issues, clearly outlining the costs, benefits and suitability for my requirements. Our flat garage roof felt needed replacing with new fibreglass layers. The work was completed as per the quote and completed ahead of time. Ryen fixed leaks round my chimneys which a previous roofer had been unable to resolve. The damp patches disappeared from the bedroom walls for the first time in about 2 years, which was a great relief. He also visited promptly to repair storm damage, replacing a fallen ridge tile. When a local builder reported slipped and missing tiles on the roof, he came out to check and honestly told me there was nothing wrong.

Having noticed some loose tiles and a crack in a chimney flaunching/render (and being unable to get a word-of-mouth recommendation for a local roofer) I searched the internet and found details for the Original Roofing Organisation. Chris came round to assess the work needed and gave an approx. a quote which he followed up in writing soon after. I found him to be approachable and genuinely interested in making the roof watertight. He was able to fit me into his busy (rain-affected) schedule and the work went ahead and was completed in several stages - the repairs involved repointing the ridge and hips, relaunching and render repair to two chimneys, replacing broken tiles and organising scaffolding. I felt Chris went the extra mile to get the work finished (and scaffolding removed) in good time before Christmas. His son and the rest of the roofing team were friendly, hard-working and happy to answer all my questions and concerns. The scaffolders were courteous, tidy and fast. I will use Chris again for any further roofing work.

Having suddenly found myself with a major problem with the roof, Chris came over within an hour on a Sunday afternoon to offer advice, which was invaluable. I received a quote the following day for a number of options and I decided on a complete re-tile. Work commenced the day after giving my go-ahead. Any questions were answered to my satisfaction and I was offered multiple choices on tiles with explanations of their pros and cons. The workforce were polite and considerate and the work was explained to me in detail. Despite periods of bad weather which hindered progress, the work was completed on schedule. Repaired my leaky roof on time, to cost, with no requirement for me to be home for the job to be undertaken.

Work included two fiberglass dorma roofs, relining part of the roof involving tile removal and replacement, lead work, renewed guttering and general cementing and repointing. All the work was carried out to a very high standard and to the quoted price. Extra work was required as an unseen problem was discovered when the roof was stripped but this was fully explained and cost agreed. Chris, Robert and their employees are honest hard working individuals willing to answer any queries and issues in a friendly and professional manner. All waste was cleaned up and taken away. They also guarantee their work for ten years. I would recommend them to family and friends without hesitation.

Chris and Robert fixed a leak we had in my roof. I spoke with them and made a appointment, they turned up on time and took time assessing the issue. They fully explained the issue with me and went to work straight away. They kept me up to date with the progress. They worked hard and were very professional. They tidied up when they finished and made sure everything was ok with me. They are two very hard working men. A few weeks after they fixed the problem they connected me to make sure everything was ok, which I thought was a nice thing to do. They just really look after their customers. I would thoroughly recommend this company. They firstly provided a temporary fix to stop our roof leaking and then completed the full job shortly afterwards. They provided quotes quickly, stuck to the price quoted and completed the jobs shortly after we agreed the quotes. I have already had additional work completed on the flat roof and intend to use them for other work which they quoted on. Did an excellent and very neat job on repairing the mortar around the valleys of our roof. They were starting to leak and cause dampness inside. Despite the weather holding up the day for which the work was originally planned, we were kept informed about revised days for doing the work. Although the job was quite expensive, but that seems to be the case for all roofing work today, it was completed quickly after the estimate was accepted and that was much appreciated. Would certainly use them again and would recommend them to others.

Chris Marrable gave me a quote for work which he stuck to. In doing the job he found additional repairs were neccessary and demonstrated them with photos. After I agreed he should carry them out he completed them the next day, fitting me in his busy schedule. Chris and his mate worked hard all day long and the finished work is very neat and they cleared up all the mess.

I have used The Original Roofing Company in the passed to completely replace a flat roof on an extension of our property. As the price and finish of their work was excellent, I had know hesitation on asking them to provide me with an estimate to replace all existing guttering and down pipes.
