The Pure Water People

We chose The Pure Water People based on reviews but also what was offered. Could you get your water softening, filtration and purifying system elsewhere for cheaper? Yes, probably, but would you get the same level of service… I doubt it. Most recently, we had some issues with our kitchen tap (acquired through them along with our system) and after sending some pictures and videos, the office team (thanks for everything Kelly) sent the details to Kevin, the engineer, who knew exactly what needed sorting - without hesitation they arranged for Kevin to head over to us, agreeing this was only possible if he had the bandwidth. Kevin called to confirm he could indeed make it to us after his last job and before he headed home (he lives 2 hours away, mind) and arrived bang on time. He proceeded to resolve our issue and went above and beyond by replacing some parts to be sure and also gave the system a once over to check everything was ok. He then not only resolved our tap issues but proceeded to answer a barrage of questions I had about things not necessarily to do with our system. He happily answered my questions and gave me the advice I needed. Kevin is brilliant as is Kelly, and based on those two alone, I’d happily recommend this company to anyone.

Kevin arrived on time and wasted no time in getting started on removing the old water softener system and preparing the groundwork ready for the new system.I couldn't have asked for a nicer workman. he explained everything he was going to do, showing me what was needed and how it was going to be positioned. he was very friendly and proficient. he removed all the old pipework and replaced it with the new materials.All the old parts were removed and taken away leaving everything neat clean and tidy. Kevin cut down the existing housing the old water softener was contained in and made a new housing out of the old housing which saved me some extra expense and the planet, he spent a lot of time making sure everything was just right. I was very happy with the final result. I have a lovely new system and I am very pleased the service. I am a happy customer and would recommend the Pure water people.and of course Kevin.

Our first water softener with this company was in 1997 & had no regrets of having it. Three years ago I had a new digital softener fitted & both were annually service by this company. It is the first time Lewis has serviced our water softener & he did it efficiently, explained all he was doing & answered any questions I asked. I was very impressed with him as I have been with all the other service engineers from this company.

The company phoned to arrange for a routine service visit that was due. The person making the arrangements was very clear about what would be done and accommodating as to the date and time for the service. Lewes, the service engineer, arrived on time and explained what he would be doing to carry out the service. I told him that there had been an intermittent problem recently and he said he would look into it. Following a very thorough check of the complete system, he made adjustments that he said should clear the problem. He explained what these adjustments were and the effect they would have to prevent the problem occurring again. He then carried out the full service, changing filters and making any necessary further adjustments. He then fully tested the system and put all insulation and covers back in place. He explained what I should do after he had left and the short time to give the system to return to full operation before it was used again. He also said to contact the company again if any further problems occurred. I had the system installed 11 years ago and the routine services have always been carried out on time and with similar thoroughness to this one. The small problem that occurred this time was the first time the system has not worked completely as it should.

Just had my new water softener (Premier Compact HF). The lady who came to quote was informative, friendly and respective of my physical needs. The office staff have always been friendly and helpful as well as polite every time I called. Kevin (the fitter) arrived on time, was friendly, he had a horrible time installing the kit as the space was tighter than expected. However his professionalism meant he coped and was able to carry out the fitting, in a clean and timely manner.

The annual servicing on our water purification system was carried out efficiently by an engineer I remembered from before (Lewis), who was very helpful and courteous.

Lewis has just finished the larger five year service, when all filters are changed and the control system checked, with his usual polite, efficient manner. This system was installed eleven years ago, and the odd occasion when I spend a number of weeks away, and my children, both over 18, are left to fend for themselves, and forget to keep the salt level topped up, the difference in water quality is quite noticeable, certainly not something I would like them to drink ! This have this system installed, was undoubtedly one of my better decisions.

The engineer was very polite and efficient and carried out the service expediently. He explained what the service entailed and gave useful advice about maintaining the filtration system which includes a drinking water filter.

Having already used a water softener from The Pure Water People for the last 20 years. The softener system needed to be replaced. As always, I am very happy with the service received by them. The installation engineer, Kevin, who attended arrived on time, was polite, courteous and tidy in their work. I found his attitude to be exemplary, and even left the bathroom floor tidier than when he arrived (apologies Kevin for that).

Can’t recommend this company and the service they provide enough. Lewis was very thorough, explained everything and did a fantastic job. We’ve had our system for around seven years now and have no complaints.

The job was the installation of a replacement water softener. I was given a clear indication of cost and the timetable for the work. The new unit was installed professionally without fuss and some incidental plumbing issues were solved as this was done. I have used this firm before for servicing my old unit and have always found them a pleasure to deal with.

Annual check and maintenance on our water softening/purifying system, carried out just now. As always we're confident that expert and thorough work has been done. Today it was Lewes; he seemed to do everything that could possibly be required, and he was a pleasure to deal with. We trust these people. The whole thing involves significant expense but I don't consider the charges unreasonable and we're glad to receive the benefits we get as customers. The people in the Bristol office are always efficient and courteous. That, too, does make a difference.

Mike installed our water system today and we are absolutely delighted with it. He arrived on time, was an absolute professional and the quality of his work was outstanding. He communicated throughout about the installation and went through everything with us before leaving to ensure we understood the system. We are left with a very neat boxed system under the kitchen window outside, freeing up the space in our kitchen cupboards. Looking forward to no limescale build up and pure drinking water. Lewis came to complete the annual service on our water treatment system. He was very informative, explaining each part of the service. The service was completed quickly and Lewis left our kitchen clean and tidy. We are extremely satisfied with our experience today.

We have had our water filtration system for 9 years now and it's been one of the best investments we have ever made. Water tastes fantastic, virtually no lime scale anymore and eczema gone. Customer service is excellent too and demonstrated again today by engineer Kev who came to carry out repair and maintenance. Arrived on time, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you 😊

Once I decided on installing a softener I looked for a local agent and all the best reviews pointed to The Pure Water People. I had a rough idea of what I needed and contacted TPWP for a home visit. Neill visited and made his suggestion as to what system I should have which was inline with what I had in mind. So far so good. No pressure to purchase and when I was ready I contacted the office where they arranged a day to install to suit my schedule. Mike arrived on time to install and was a consummate professional. Great installation, no mess and perfect clean up. From start to finish a great job all around with good communication throughout. Highly recommended

We've had a pure water system since the early 2000s, when Pure Water People were called Aquatec. The system has been brilliant and the higher quality water really helped my daughter's eczema. They helped us de-install and re-install when we moved house in 2006, and come annually to service the equipment. They're always friendly, prompt, and tidy. After 20+ years, our system needed an upgrade, and that was organised really well. We've been using the new system for around a month now, and it's excellent. Really happy customer, who recommends this company.

From start to finish Pure Water People were a pleasure to deal with. No pushy sales pitch and the fact they didn't recommend the most expensive option as it didn't suit our needs as well as others was reassuring. Communication from the office was always pleasant friendly and professional. Lee carried out the installation today and from start to finish was an asset to PWP. Not only was the installation of a water softener etc very neat, tidy, when he finished, my kitchen was left as if he hadn't been there. It was time for the big filter change in our water filtering and softening system: we needed a man for the job; a good man; Lewis was that man. Tall and dark-haired, he filled the doorway, and he fitted the bill- he also fitted all the filters. He was fast, efficient and friendly, and thorough, very thorough. "Would you fix our wobbling tap?" I asked, tentatively. "No problem" he replied, and he got to work."We fitted that 17 years ago" he said. No wonder it wobbled: there'd been a lot of water under that bridge. "Well, that's all done for you" he said, as he gave us the bill. I was happy to pay; it was a job well done. Lee installed a water system in our house and his service was excellent. He did a neat job, explained what he was doing, how the system worked, and talked me through how to use it and maintain it in a clear and understandable way. The system is excellent and has made a difference immediately. Very impressed.
