The Pure Water People

The annual service on our water system was carried out by Kevin who was friendly and efficient. He arrived at the expected time, kept us informed on all the tests he had undertaken and answered all our queries .

I can confirm that Kevin visited this morning - and completed the annual service very satisfactorily. He also described the (very good) state of the water / and was also able to fix an issue with the mixer tap (ie. cold water not running efficiently).

Mike had telephoned when close to home and was actually early. He was very polite and friendly and explained all about the installation. He had to be left on his own while we went out, but I was not in the least concerned. When we returned at 1:pm there wasn't much left to do and I was impressed with his work ethics and his tidiness in clearing up any mess made by drilling, etc. Once completed, the system was fully explained, including the important salt tank checks and topping up. We had already been impressed by the Pure Water demonstration, but now, 5 months after installation, the effects are fantastic. Simple things like no teapot staining, no limescale build-up in the kettle, no staining on the sink drainer, a clean shower screen, only a small amount of shower gel/shampoo/washing up liquid needed to produce loads of suds and bubbles, loads of shaving soap suds from a small amount of water on the brush and cleaner tasting drinking water. I think the most noticeable features are the change to the condition of my hair and skin. My skin feels softer and smooth and my hair condition is so much better. I don't know what prompted me to go ahead with the Pure Water installation, but we are so glad that I did. Many thanks.

After seventeen years some components are getting toward their sell by date. As the system will be disconnected soon to facilitate a house extension, Lewes explained in detail the options most suitable for the situation and we decided on the most effective course of action. Just the kind of excellent service I have come to expect over the years. Cannot fault the dedication. Over the seventeen years I reckon we have saved the system cost in not buying so much soap, washing powder, cleaning products and plumbing bills. Everything feels cleaner after washing, me included. Can’t be without it.

Our kit was installed some 13 years ago, and with caring servicing each year continues to perform well. Ian checked it yesterday and all is good. He repaired the box very efficiently. The kit supplied is great and has helped us a lot over the last few years. I would recommend this system to everyone.

Lewes checked the whole system thoroughly as well as testing the water quality, checking the water pressure and replacing the filters. He explained what he was doing and why as he went along. We have been delighted with the water softener as we have battled with limescale for years but we are now completely scale free. The kettle is still like new. Lewes was able to answer all my questions and was very knowledgeable. The charge was as per the pre-agreed price for the service and all the work was completed in about an hour. I am very pleased both with the system and the service provided by this excellent company.

We have been with this company in its different guises since 1997 and have been thoroughly satisfied with the service staff are very efficient, arrive at the time they stipulate and carry out the service in an efficient manner and are ready to discuss any problems that might arise.

After 27 years, our Kinetico water softener, which had never had any attention whatsoever, apart from rinsing out the salt hopper twice in that time, finally gave up the ghost! A phone call to Kathy at the 'Pure Water People', Staple Hill, Bristol was met with enthusiasm, knowledge of the Kinetico product and a clear recommendation for a replacement - not in a months time, not in a weeks time, but within a few days! Charlotte followed the initial call with proposals for the installation date and I was confident from these conversations, that this was going to be a trouble free process - and it was! Kevin, the installation engineer, rang the evening before he was due and arrived on time. A friendly and obviously very experienced installer, he first looked at the installation site - in the larder next to our kitchen - and stated that it would be straightforward. The new softener was brought from the van, taken from its box and its workings - which I was reasonably familiar with - were explained. Well before lunchtime, new by pass plumbing had been installed, the unit was connected and the working area left immaculately clean! Kevin even disposed of our old Kinetico for us. Wow! What an amazing company! An instant response, unbiassed advice, promises fulfilled, staff who were helpful, polite and accessible and no unanswered phone calls or long waits for the phone to be answered! What a change these days! Very highly recommended.

Today I had my annual service done. Changed filters on drinking water,tests done etc, all done by KEVIN. Very happy with this technician , helpful,professional, friendly. Thank you.

I appreciated that Kevin kept me apprised of his expected time of arrival following a traffic holdup en route and he arrived at his newly appointed time. His checks showed that the hardness setting needed to be adjusted then the maintenance filters and CRV were replaced and everything was tested. Kevin is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I moved house last year and am so pleased that I transferred my unit to the new address. All sorted for another year.

I have used The Pure Water People for many years now for carrying out the servicing and repairs on our Whole House softener system. In all of my dealings with this company I have always found them to be extremely helpful and efficient. Our softener system is by no means state of the art now, but the Pure Water engineers are extremely knowledgeable and have managed to keep it working efficiently, making adjustments as and when necessary. On the rare occasions when the system has ceased to function, Pure Water have been very quick to respond to my distress call and have always managed to rapidly source replacement parts. All in all, a very fine company to deal with.

Kevin did a very efficient job while servicing the water filter. He explained everything he did and was very pleasant. We'd definitely recommend him.

Lewis arrived on time to complete our annual service. He asked if we had experienced any issues with the system and outlined what he intended to do. He kept me informed throughout, checked my understanding and provided useful advice. He was efficient, organised, and polite throughout his visit. He left having fully serviced and checked the system to ensure it was operating correctly. Great job.

We are very pleased with the whole experience we have had with The Pure Water People. We went on recommendation from family who have had their water treatment system for over 25 years so we knew this was a good company to work with. From first phone call, to a home consultation with Neil and today with the installation by Mike... All was very professional, helpful and communicated very well. Nothing was too much trouble, we had lots of questions and wanted to make sure we got things right. The installation went well and has been done very nicely and tidily. Lee our installer was very customer friendly and very knowledgeable. He has done excellent job installing the system and also explained how to use the system through the app. Overall very happy the work done by Lee.

Kevin has just been to service our water softener system. What a lovely guy! Polite, friendly, explained what he was going to do, gave me the results of the water tests straight away. It seems a rat had been chewing the pipes so Kevin has advised what to do about it and has lagged all the pipe work as extra protection. He showed me photos to show what he’d done. All work carried out as necessary and as quoted. All replaced filters taken away. Very happy with this company and one of the best “home improvement” we’ve done. Thank you!

The yearly inspection including the change of filters was carried out by Mike. All done at the arranged time in a very friendly and tidy manor. Seeing that I was having difficulties with a punctured tire on my car Mike took over and carried out the work which was beyond my capability. My thanks to Aquatec for sending me such a wonderful engineer.

I have always been impressed by the quality of The Pure Water People's annual service but this year was exceptional. Not only was Mike extremely knowledgeable about the system, but he explained what he was going to tweak and why and also talked through various options going forward given my current system is 17 years old. There was no sales pressure whatsoever but, on hearing the various options, I was persuaded to go for a new drinking water system which would give me much greater flow given I had the whole family coming for Christmas and suggested he could probably fit before Christmas. I can't praise this company enough.

Mike came on time and worked tirelessly on a difficult job He had to replace valves which were leaking and adjust the cabinets to fit a very snug softener. He took on the the task with determination and good humour until it was perfect He also was excellent at explaining the new set up He didn’t go until he was completely satisfied Well done
