The Pure Water People

The Pure Water People installed the water softener and water purifying system in my flat for my predecessor here. I contacted them when I saw their phone number on the filter unit under my sink, as I was left with no paperwork to identify the system / the supplier. The Pure Water People gave the system a comprehensive overhaul 3 years ago (as it had been neglected for a few years) and have given it an annual service every October since. They are all friendly, helpful and do an excellent job efficiently and leaving no mess. Their water softening system is very efficient (no limescale, no furring, less soap and detergents) and the filter is wonderful: clean water free of chemicals, as good as the best spring water on (a separate!) tap every day. Transformational.

Lewis came to perform the annual service of our pure water system, which we've had for over ten years. He was very personable and polite and performed all the checks efficiently and thoroughly. He was also nice to my dog! I would have no hesitation in recommending this engineer and this company,

Mike arrived within the given time scale. He was really friendly and wanted to meet our very noisy German Shepherd dog we had put in another room. Mike was very efficient in his work. He explained everything that he was doing and the mechanics of the tap and suggested why it might have broken. He then did the filter changes made necessary adjustments to the main unit settings and all within a very reasonable timescale. We would recommend Mike and hope to see him again.

The Pure Water People installed for me a Kinetico Premier Compact water softener, a Kinetico K5 Pure+ filter for drinking water and a Dante Tri-Pure tap at the kitchen sink. A PWP technician visit within 3 days of my phone call, gave a clear demonstration of the need for a softener, the equipment needed and the location for it. 2 days later their expert and affable fitter, Mike, spent 4 hours installing the system with impressive plumbing and leaving much more usable space in our under-sink cupboard than we had expected. No more lime scale build-up on our taps and showers! An altogether impressive service by people who know what they are doing, have been long-term employees of PWP and give a superior customer experience.

The man, Mike, who did the job was charming, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He came at the agreed time, which was a relief to me as I have many unexpected commitments at the moment. The work was exemplary, he tidied everything up when he was finished and took away all the waste products. I would recommend the company and Mike again without hesitation.

Mike came to service our drinking water purifier. Mike was very friendly and professional, and very knowledgeable too. He went above and beyond to make sure the system was working well and I was happy with everything.

The engineer (Mike) arrived on time and carried out the work without disruption or fuss. All work carried out was explained to me clearly by him, including recommendations for items additional to a normal service. Completely satisfied.

Lewis carried out the servicing off our pure water system. He was extremely conscientious and took a lot of trouble to ensure that the system was functioning correctly- not minding how long it took. He was friendly and courteous. We have now had this system for 17 years and have always been entirely satisfied with the service we have received and have never regretted having the system fitted.

Good work, highly skilled engineer who is a wonderful ambassador for the company, a very reliable system which we have now had for 18 years and certainly far superior to others we have had in previous houses. The important thing is that this is not just water softening but true water purification by osmotic filter. The tops!

Lewis did a thoroughly good job on my water treatment system. He was polite and very respectful of my property as he had to go all over the house to check taps and toilets. He explained in detail what he was doing and why. He also went through his report with me and left everything neat and tidy. Good work. I would recommend this company to anyone thinking of installing a water softener.

Our engineer 'Mike', arrived on time, and explained his proposed work plan in layman's terms. After fully checking the system and listening to our concerns, he found the water holding canister to be faulty. In line with Pure Waters Office pricing and potential courses of action for the reported fault, he replaced the faulty item with new from his van stock. Mike drained the system, allowed to refill before testing and advising of follow up course of action to be completed by us later that evening. Our softener has now been fully restored to its original working condition and worked problem free since. Mike fully versed us as to our current unit, its longevity and replacements options on the market when it becomes necessary. He is an excellent ambassador for the Company with fine customer facing skills. A job well done, thank you.

Mike came to service our water filter system. He had installed it 5 years ago, and it was great to see him again. He did a very thorough job, highly competent and professional, and he is a really nice guy. 10/10 for Mike!

Routine service was carried out efficiently and thoroughly by a pleasant, polite and knowledgeable engineer.

The appointment for the annual service was made by Jasmine and Kelly in the office and the Engineer Lewis arrived on time on the day. Lewis is very thorough and checked the working of the softener, the quality of the water and the pressure at a number of outlet points throughout the house. Also checking the effect using several machines at once had on the water pressure from the softener. Lewis replaced all the filters in the softener and took away the used ones. He produced a full written report to add to my file. I have had water softeners from the Pure Water People for almost 15 years and fully recommend the Company, the product, and their employees to any prospective clients.

We just had the annual service carried out on our system. Fantastic as always. Lewis arrived on time, worked very efficiently, explaining what he was doing throughout. Great communication from the team from start to finish. Highly recommended.

I have had my water filtration system for about 20 years now. It requires an annual service, one in depth bi-annually. The pure water people always remind me when my service is due and arrange the service to suit my timings as well as when the engineer is in my area. They have very loyal staff and I have dealt with the same office representative the whole time I have been with them which is nice as it enables a friendly relationship to develop. My local engineer Chris has attended at least the past two years and he is friendly but also professional and informative.

Had a great experience with The Pure Water People. AJ came to install our water softener and did an excellent job. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain how everything works. The installation was smooth and tidy, and the difference in our water was noticeable straight away. Would definitely recommend both the company and AJ!

The booking process was easy using the company office (the office reminded me that the service was due) and was completed well in advance of the date selected for the service. Although in this case the date was changed by the company, the change was easy and made in consultation with me. The service engineer arrived at the start of the allocated time period and completed the testing and filter change quickly, efficiently and with a friendly and knowledgeable approach. Payment was by credit card on the day and all was quickly completed.

We have had the system in place for approx 10yrs and have never had a problem with it. Mike visited to complete the annual service and filter changes on the system. He has been coming to us since the system was installed and is always polite and friendly. His work is neat and tidy, efficient and only carries out what is necessary. He knows the system inside out and is always honest and open about how the system is working or any potential issues we may encounter in the future.

Mike called in this afternoon and completed a thorough service on our pure water system. He was very efficient and explained the information we needed to know about the system. Excellent

We had our old Aquatec Rainsoft unit for 28 years and were advised that eventually the clock mechanism would fail, and there are no replacement parts available anymore. The clock has finally failed, so this resulted in us getting the new unit today with Pure Water People. The installation couldn't have gone more smoothly with a lovely gent called Steve doing the installation. He noticed we could do with a new box too, so we added that to the list of changes. We chose a water-based unit rather than an electric one. It took half a day to install and is very easy to look after compared to our old unit. Steve was very knowledgeable and informative, and answered all our questions.

The tap water in our area is hard and brackish and unpleasant to taste. To overcome this we have used the water filter system since it was installed on 1st December 1999. The annual service was always arranged on a convenient day and time. After 26 years of use it was time to replace the equipment and this was done on 21st July 2025. Very pleased with the job done and although there was a small leak this was quickly fixed by the company. The soft water tastes lovely and we are very pleased with the new system. Thank you for the excellent service provided over the years.
