The Pure Water People

We have been with this trader (under various names) for many years and it has always been very reliable and efficient in servicing our water softener system. In spite of travelling from Bristol, the engineer is always on time and is very helpful and efficient. We have recommended the company to others.

We have had our Pure Water filtration system for over 10 years. We live in an area where the water is very hard. The system works well and the water is much softer. We like the fact that the water feels softer when washing and that the kettle, bath, sinks and taps are completely free of scale. We also think that the water tastes better. We are pleased with the service we get from The Pure Water People, they are always pleasant and helpful. They ring each year to arrange our annual service and give a description of the level of service required and also the full cost. We have had Lewis the same engineer to do our service for the past few years. He is always pleasant and friendly. It is nice to get a person you know.

Kevin came first on 9 Feb 2023 to install the water conditioner after we moved house. The job was the same as a brand new installation. He arrived about 10 am and worked all day doing all the piping and getting the unit up and running. Unfortunately during our house move the drinking water filter/unit got broken. However Kevin took pictures and reported it to the office. They located a new part and a week later on the 17 Feb 2023 Lewis arrived. He instantly recognised us and said 'you've moved'. Kevin installed the drinking water unit and told us how often to drain and put fresh water though it for the first 24 hours to make sure it was safe to consume. Both Kevin and Lewis were clean and tidy workers, who tidied as they went. We are very pleased to have our unit working again so we can have a proper cuppa with no scum! Very pleased with their work and very professional.

Mike removed old water softener and drinking Water filters from outside and fitted replacement softener and drinking water filters inside the garage explaining what he was doing all the time. Every thing went to plan he tidy and cleaned up. He spent time given us instructions on the care and operation of the installation. First class service every completed on time and in budget. Mike a first class engineer very polite and helpful. Excellent company.

Lewis arrived on time to carry out the service on the water filter and drinking water system. He came last year so we were confident that he would do a good job. Lewis is very helpful and always ready to answer any questions we might have. He always leaves everything clean and tidy, which is very much appreciated.

Nice experience. We saw the advertisement on the bicycle nearby for the first time. Then we found out that water in Oxford is really hard.20 times harder than standard level. So we decided to get a soften water system install. We feel very lucky to choose the pure water.Very good service and nice water filter, specially thanks lee for the installation. The pipe are well placed and fit all our request.Nice job done.

Mike was very helpful in explaining any issues that were raised. The minimal amount of disruption and cleared up any dirt or waste produced. The whole new water purification system was installed in a very few hours.

The Pure Water People Ltd are thorough in what they do and how they treat their customers. They clearly aspire to a high standard of service and do their best to honour their commitments and keep their customers fully informed. Lewes, who came to service the boiler today, had done his homework on our set-up the night before. As for the quality of the work, we have not had any issues since we installed the system ten years ago. I am a satisfied customer.

My water machine now over 10 years old and every year its service is completed perfectly. Lewis who has done it 2-3 times before is always punctual, phones to say he is on his way and explains what the process is. He chats as he works and is a really good `advert` for the company. The office staff are also helpful and kind, happy to chat, nothing is too much trouble so a great company all round,

The Pure Water People have looked after my water softener since I had it installed 15 years ago. They even arranged to remove the system when I moved house and refit it into where I live now. The annual services are arranged either by phone or email and the office staff are always helpful and polite. They always advise me of the cost in advance. (This varies because different filters need changing at different intervals.) I get a message the day before the appointment giving me a time window for the engineer to arrive which is always kept to. Various different engineers have done the work needed and are always extremely efficient. They take away any rubbish and leave everything clean and tidy. I have never had any problems dealing with this company.

We purchased a water filter system way back in 1997 and successfully moved house with it in 2000. We have lived here 23 years. We installed the drinking water system 15 years ago. Both systems have been very reliable, worked well and cleaned the water well. The drinking water is delicious. We get an annual service to check the water is of the expected standard and the engineers who come to do the service are experienced with our system, even though it is old technology now and may need an upgrade in the future. You get pure water for everything used in the household. No stone, chlorine or ammonia in anything. My kettle is pristine, as is the washing machine. Even the central heating works more efficiently. I cannot recommend this company enough. Any problems have always been fixed quickly and efficiently. Thank you.

Lewes the operator was on time and his usual cheerful self (he has been before).He had his equiptment ready to start work and proceeded to carry out the service,checking with me everything was O.K.as he went by.after finishing he brought in the bags of salt that Ihad ordered and placed them where i asked him to.He then completed his paperwork and Ipaid him.He checked everything was to my satisfaction .and left with a cheery goodbye.

Kevin arrived on time and knew exactly what needed to be done. He had been briefed and had photos of our site. The install took 6 hours and all without a break. He was so professional, informative and explained what we needed to do going forward. We were reassured and know we chose the right company, product and service personnel. We expect the system to work successfully for decades and will probably see us out. An annual service will ensure all runs smoothly. Very happy all went so well and to have met Kevin, a real ambassador for ‘The Pure Water People’.

Lewis, the engineer arrived promptly within the arranged time schedule and carried out all the necessary checks, changed the filters and changed one of the tanks which was covered by warranty. Lewis was very helpful and kept me informed of all stages of the work. All was done promptly and at the price agreed when the appointment was made.

Our water softener was recently installed by Mike. I would like to thank Mike for a great service that he provided. The installation was done very professionally. Mike arrived on time, explained every step of the installation process, completed the job to a high standard and even helped to re-arrange things which had to be moved out of the cupboard to accommodate the water softener under the sink. At the end of the installation everything was clean. Mike explained how to look after our new water softener, explanations were easy to understand and very helpful. Great job! Thank you Mike.

From the time Kelly phoned us to make the appointment, we have been kept up to date all the way. Initially we were told the type of service, the total cost, and what happens on the day. On the day Lewes arrived at appointed time and calmly professionally carried out the maintenance service, all the time keeping us up to date on what he was doing. We had additional questions, and he solved them, and we were grateful. Job was done, all cleaned up, paid for, and we were satisfied. Prompt Service, clean and tidy, Lewis the engineer explained everything that he did. Tested the whole house then replaced all the usual filters. Happy to see him again next year Oct 2024.

The Pure Water People are a brilliant company to deal with, they were very helpful in advising us as we already had an old system that had stopped working and we couldn't get hold of the original company who had fitted it. Pure Water sent an engineer, Mike, to have a look at our old system, he was very friendly, informative and helpful and advised that he wasn't able to fix it so at our request he arranged for his colleague in the office to give us a call about them fitting a replacement, there was no pressure from them at all and everything was arranged very quickly for a new system to be fitted. Kevin, the engineer came to us a couple of days later and fitted a new pure water system, he was very clean, tidy and methodical in his work and advised us fully about what he was going to do at different stages through the fitting and he made the experience a very positive one. We would recommend The Pure Water People to anyone who is looking for one of these systems as our contact with everyone in the company was very good.

We have had our annual service today. Lee conducted this in the same prompt, courteous way that we have come to expect from this Company. From the office staff to the engineers we could not fault them. Everything that was carried out was fully explained. Thank you.

My elderly nan has been using this company for over 10 years and we have always been very pleased with the welcoming and trustworthy service. However the most recent appointment really went above and beyond and Mike, who arrived earlier than planned, completed the service and then preceded to mow my nans lawn for her out of good will. Mike was extremely kind and is always very helpful but I couldn’t believe how generous this was! Would highly recommend
