The Pure Water People

We are very happy with our water softener install, the water is very tasty and no more limescale! From the first meeting where Françoise explained and demoed everything in amazing detail, to the installation by Mike the whole process was seamless and the guys were a pleasure to deal with.

We had a water system installed in 2002. We recently started to get a few problems and contacted Pure Water People on24/10/2004. Lewis came on 07/11/2004 and our system had seen better times. We had a new system installed on 22/11/2024 by Kevin who was very efficient and professional. Kevin braved a very cold day without complaint.

Kevin from the Pure Water People came out to check our water filtration system after builders moved it during some recent home renovations. He was great - very helpful, thorough and informative. He was able to assess the new system set-up and optimise the filtration set-up to work best with the new mains water feed. Really appreciated getting such good support.

A fault developed on our system that meant it was not softening water and causing our electricity to trip out. On contacting the company, they arranged for an engineer to attend at a time that was convenient for us. They phoned a couple of days before the visit to confirm it and then again on the day to say the engineer was on his way and his ETA. Kevin arrived and found that a transformer had developed a fault. Replacing it required some rerouting of wires as we had changed the built-in furniture. Kevin arranged this, did the work and left the area neat and tidy afterwards. He then reset the system so that it was working satisfactorily again. We were very happy with the service and the work done.

Very pleased with the way the soft water unit system failure was rectified quickly in a professional manner and still easy to operate and gain access without changing the external cabinets in the breakfast room. All the staff have been very pleasant and helpful especially to get the system working again before the Christmas break.

Lee from the Pure Water People fitted a filter and purifier system. The work was performed quickly and the finished work left in a clean and tidy state. This is the second home where the Pure Water People have installed a system. They are friendly company and provide great after sales support.

I inherited a Pure Water system and was unfamiliar with its operation, so I contacted the company for clarification. I’d like to thank Mary for her thorough explanation. Since the system had not been reviewed nor had its filters changed since 2018, an appointment was scheduled. We have had the softener and purification systems for a couple of weeks now. We are already noticing improvements around the house, for example, the limescale is almost totally gone from the bathroom and the kettle! The taste of the filtered water is much better, and overall, we are feeling much better knowing that we are drinking cleaner water. The installation with Steve went very smoothly. He took the time to protect the floor, installed the systems without any disruption to our work, and later took the time to explain to us all the technical parts. Thank you!

I have used Pure Water People for several years and have always found their service and the calibre of their engineers to be outstanding. Our latest maintenance visit was carried out by Lewis, who quickly checked out our system and then performed the necessary filter changes. The plumbing in our property is quite complicated as it is two houses knocked into one. I have never been absolutely sure which baths/showers/sinks/WCs/Outside taps were fed directly from the incoming mains water supply and which were supplied through the water softener. Lewis checked the whole house meticulously and found out which is supplied by which. Useful information for me! Thank you Lewis

The man, Mike, who did the job was charming, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He came at the agreed time, which was a relief to me as I have many unexpected commitments at the moment. The work was exemplary, he tidied everything up when he was finished and took away all the waste products. I would recommend the company and Mike again without hesitation.

Mike arrived in the promised slot and worked efficiently on the annual maintenance. He then discovered a problem with the system and explained that he would have to replace CRV, all be it a year earlier than normal. He did not have the required unit so installed an upgraded version of the unit to replace it and prevent a second visit. Great service as usual, highly recommended.

It was a pleasure to welcome engineer Mike into my home once more, and found him as courteous, friendly, efficient and thorough in his work as on all previous visits. He undertook the routine testing and servicing of my water system and even topped up the salt for me as I was unable to do this myself following an operation. The water system, although now aging, remains efficient and reliable under his care. I consider Mike, due to his attitude and efficiency, to be a credit to the company.

Mike arrived within the given time scale. He was really friendly and wanted to meet our very noisy German Shepherd dog we had put in another room. Mike was very efficient in his work. He explained everything that he was doing and the mechanics of the tap and suggested why it might have broken. He then did the filter changes made necessary adjustments to the main unit settings and all within a very reasonable timescale. We would recommend Mike and hope to see him again.

The engineer Ian arrived on time and began immediately after introducing himself. He worked quickly and efficiently and answered any all of my questions professionally,showing a deep knowledge of the system. Kelly Smith had already provided us with a quote for the work which was accurate on his invoice. Thank you for a job well done.

I had a phone call arranging a suitable date and time for the service. I was informed of the name of the engineer who would attend. Ian arrived on time, was very polite and undertook the work quickly and in a professional manner.

The new system was installed and all working fine afterwards. The engineer did a perfect job. Cleaned up after himself. Renewed all pipes and installed a new tap which included the Kinetico K5 Pure+ Drinking Water System, using a very thin pipe in the middle of the main tap. The Water softener, a Pentair Foleo, was also installed along with the Chemical Removal Filter. I opted to have it installed in the same location outside, under the kitchen window. They provide a wooden cabinet & the wood was pretreated. It came with insulation fitted inside the cabinet and further insulation covers to tuck around each piece of equipment. All fitted perfectly. I chose to leave writing a review, so that I could say how the whole system has been working. It has been working perfectly over the last 40 days. The water softener has an app available that is useful to see your water usage etc.

Having had a soft water system installed in a previous house I decided to have it installed in my in my recent property, I had no hesitation in calling 'The pure water people', the service was first class and the technician, Mike, was efficient, professional and explained everything he was doing in terms that we could easily understand. If we ever move again they would be first on the list to call.

We choose Pure Water People as they had the best reputation in our area. After the initial install we weren't happy with the with the layout of the system and there was a small leak. PWP were very quick to send out an engineer to put things right. The final set up looks amazing and everything works as expected. To compensate us for the initial error they offered us a free service and filter change for the next year. Would highly recommend PWP for their customer service.

We have had the system in place for approx 10yrs and have never had a problem with it. Mike visited to complete the annual service and filter changes on the system. He has been coming to us since the system was installed and is always polite and friendly. His work is neat and tidy, efficient and only carries out what is necessary. He knows the system inside out and is always honest and open about how the system is working or any potential issues we may encounter in the future.
