The Pure Water People

This is the second time I have used The Pure Water Company in Bristol and for the 2nd time, their pre-sales communication and customer service from Kelly was exceptional. The installation engineer Kevin could not have been more helpful, professional, clean and tidy. Going the extra mile to explain the installation as it was taking place and making recommendations of how to cause the minimum disruption. I don't often right reviews but sometimes a company excels and Kevin and this team were amazing. Thank you.

Our regular annual water softener service was carried out in April 2024. This was very efficiently scheduled in a month or so in advance. An engineer, Mike, who had visited us on previous occasions arrived neatly turned out and with a very friendly demeanor. He carried out the work in exemplary fashion. In fact he even tightened a couple of loose waste pipe joints whilst he noticed whilst working under the sink. Mike undertook his tasks in a cheerful but professional way engaging most pleasantly with us during the visit. I have no hesitation in recommending the services of both Mike and his employers The Pure Water People.

Lewes the "The Pure water People" technician provided a comprehensive service, which covered water softening and filtered drinking water. Lewes clearly explained why & what he was doing. I have been serviced annually for 12 years. Finally Lewes also gave me a look forward regarding the items that may need replacing next year. The Pure water People always call me in good time to arrange the service visit at a convenient time, their number is in my contact list as my BT Premium (VOIP) home phone and iPhone only ring if the incoming call is in their respective contact list.

After many years of wanting one, today I finally had my pure water system fitted. Lee, the engineer was fantastic. He went through it all with me. He was efficient and tidy. Having lived in a hard water area my whole life, it’s absolutely amazing to have such wonderfully soft water now. The drinking water tastes lovely and even my children agree! Thank you ☺️ I will recommend you to everyone!

Lewis, from Pure Water People, has just completed our first water system service. He was very courteous and explained, in simple language, what was happening. Overall a job well done and simple instructions for the layman to follow.

Service engineer, Ian arrived on schedule and completed the annual service and main filter change. Discount offered as we were prepared to change the original service date to a date when the engineer was in our area on another job. We have enjoyed excellent service over the last 10 years.

I had my 25 year old water softener replaced which was also fitted by Pure Water People. Very good friendly service throughout that time and I am sure this will continue. Highly recommend them.

I have been using this company since 2017. During that time I have only used them for an annual service to the water softener. From the initial two installers, I have had a number of service engineers and have found them all to be be pleasant, clean in appearance, courteous. and tidy in their work.

Mike from Pure Water People did an excellent job replacing my old water softener system. He removed all the outdated pipework and installed a brand-new system with great care and professionalism. Throughout the process, he explained everything clearly, ensuring I understood how the new system worked and answering all my questions. Mike was polite, friendly, and very thorough. He also took the time to tidy up after the installation, leaving everything neat and clean. I’m very impressed with his attention to detail and the quality of his work. I would highly recommend.

Lewis arrived to change drinking water filter. I had not thought to replace salt since my husband’s death and it was empty. Lewis explained why this meant he could not do the usual tests but he filled up the salt for me (Very heavy bags kept in garage) even taking the empty bags away for me. He showed me all the components of the system and how I could isolate it if I wanted to use a lot of water on the garden. When I told him that we had given up on using the drinking water tap because it was so slow he suggested a number of ways I could help with this. I now feel equipped to use the system, even buying 10kg bags of salt which are light enough for me to handle. I don’t think Lewis could have done anything more and I felt positive about the whole system when he left. He was polite, extremely helpful, and clearly knows fully about the system. He was professional and pleasant in equal measures.

During the past 7 years, I have used The Pure Water People to install and service my water softener and filtered water drinking systems. Telephone support and helpful reminders keep track of my installation and the service Team is very helpful and works cleanly. This year I had Lewis, who helped me understand my annual water consumption and make sure the settings were still to my liking. The benefit of the installation has meant, that in a hard water area, there is hardly any build-up of scale in showers, washing machines, dishwashers, toilets and the taps just seem to get more glossy.

After reviewing the technology of water softeners, we decided to choose an ion exchange resin system provided by Pure Water. Their sales guy Vincenzo went through the various size options and pricing. We chose Pure Water as they have a CRV system which is a charcoal filter cylinder that also removes chemicals before running through a 0.01 micron filter under the sink after the water has been softened. We managed to get an installation date before Christmas, and Kevin, an experienced plumber installed everything for us. There was some tricky plumbing to do as the water pipes in our 1930s semi-detached house is old. He walked us through everything he would do so that we informed about all the drilling and pipe work he wanted to fit. The installation took about 6 hours in total and was very thorough. Kevin was very knowledgeable and friendly and even installed the water tap with a product that he thought was better than the one we originally opted for, which was a good choice. The work was tidy, he cleaned up after his work and went through all the ways to control the water system. After everything was done, we felt confident in not only dealing with the water system but also the assurance that if anything does go wrong, the company have a great post installation service. All said and done, we feel we made the right choice with the company, especially given how expensive these water softener systems can be.

Having recently had some changes to the bathroom we were really noticing the hard water and limescale - which we have always been aware of but it got us to look in a company who could provide the service and soft water we wanted, that led us to The Pure Water People. From the initial call with the internal sales/booking chap, to the follow up call, speed of booking and the Engineer that came out to install the system the service has been super attentive and responsive. We have straight away noticed the softness of the water and a lot less limescale on the tiles/taps/glass which is great. And the water tastes so good too, no need to run it through the old filer before filling to kettle etc… I’d certainly recommend The Pure Water People for anyone requiring the same i.e. quality water ‘directly’ from the system they have installed, very pleased..!!

Kevin arrived his usual cheerful self after a difficult journey with the M5 closed in Somerset. He identified the faults replaced all the faulty parts and had the water running from both taps in about an hour. He tidied up, explained the invoice and left us to ring the office to pay. As always we are very pleased with the work that Kevin has done and recommend this firm if you are looking for a water filtration system.

We recently had a water softener and filtration system installed by Pure Water People, and the whole experience was fantastic. Kelly, the Operations Manager, kept in touch throughout by phone and email, and Vincenzo, the salesman, gave us a clear and confident explanation during the home visit that helped us make our decision. When it came to installation, Kevin the engineer was absolutely top-notch. He clearly knew what he was doing, walking us through his plan and explaining how everything would be fitted. His expertise was evident, and when any issues cropped up, he calmly explained our options and guided us toward the best solution. That kind of professionalism really put us at ease. Since the install, we've noticed a real difference: the filtered water tastes clean and crisp, and the softened water feels silky on the skin—especially noticeable after a shower or washing your hands. Highly recommend Pure Water People—great product, great team, great results!

The pure water people sent out Kevin to fit the premier water system. He didn’t rush the job despite it being a Saturday and was very friendly and informative about his work. He explained thoroughly, how the system worked and what to do if there was a leak. I highly recommend Kevin, he is truly an asset to the Pure Water People!

Just had a softener and drinking water system installed in our fourth property and are as delighted with this as we were with the first three. Mike has done the installations for us and is an excellent man for the job. He is courteous, punctual, very knowledgeable and solution-focused. He goes the extra mile. We’ve always been delighted with his work and today is no exception. We have always found the company to be helpful and efficient. They know what they’re doing, you can trust them to get it right and they’ve always been quick to resolve any issues for us. No hesitation in recommending them.

We have used The Pure Water People for the past 15 years. They installed our water softener and drinking water filter in 2010 and have provided the annual service since. I cannot fault the service that they have provided. We have had one or two faults with the system over the past 15 years. The Pure Water people have always been responsive, initially over the phone to help try and isolate the problem and where required they have come out to the problem. We regularly see the same service engineer, in the past few years Kevin - always very pleasant and efficient. I have no problem in recommending the The Pure Water People.

The work was carried out by a senior engineer from the Company, whose name was Mike. He is an expert that is used for the specification & installation of systems where location, space and access is at a premium. We had already carried out the dismantling of kitchen racking where the unit was to be installed, leaving the open space where the new unit was to be installed, which involved locating existing water pipes, modifying and rerouting the overflow pipe thus allowing the original system to be disconnected for subsequent removal/disposal. The quality of workmanship was second to none and I would fully recommend both the Company and the Engineer should anyone require a first class job to be undertaken.

We have a Water Purification System installed by The Pure Water People about five years ago and had our annual service, by them, today. I was really struck by Kevin, the engineer, who was courteous, professional and very thorough. He completed a water hardness test and found a fault within the system. He then clearly explained what needed to be done and how he was going to fix it. He completed the necessary service filter changes and when this was done fully recapped on everything. I would like to thank Kevin for his diligence, he is a credit to your company.

We had a visit from Mike today to install our water system. Thank you for your patience and kindness in explaining and installing everything. He's a very experienced guy who cleaned everything up after he worked. I can't say anything else but it was fantastic to meet him. Thank you Mike for everything. Had a great experience with The Pure Water People. AJ came to install our water softener and did an excellent job. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain how everything works.
