The Sash Window Workshop replaced all 11 sash windows in our house with brand new double-glazed accoya wood units. The whole process was smooth, efficient and professional and we are very happy with our new windows! The whole project was completed on budget and on time and the fitting team were diligent, clean and looked after our house as best at they could given the intrusive nature of the work. All in all, very happy customers!

I was delighted with the service I received from the Sash Window Workshop. To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive about having my old window removed and a new one installed. I imagined all sorts of things that could go wrong but in fact it couldn't have gone more smoothly. A few weeks before the installation, one of the experts came to measure the window exactly. On the day itself, Steve inserted the window with no problems even though he had to carry the new window and all his tools up a narrow, winding staircase. He arrived on time, covered the furniture and carpets with clean dust sheets, and did an excellent job of fitting the new window. I was very relieved that it went so smoothly - and the new window looks very smart. I would certainly recommend the Sash Window Workshop.

We had the front sashes of our double-fronted house redone, replacing the old single glazing. The service was professional from start to finish. Communication was clear at every step, from the quote to the final installation. The team worked exactly on schedule with minimal disruption. The quality of the work was excellent, down to the smallest finishing touches and cleanup. No surprises just a smooth, well-executed job. We would recommend them without hesitation and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future!

Our flat in the Kemp Town area of Brighton needed three inauthentic, rotting casement windows replacing with sash windows. The flat is in a Grade 1 listed building, so the design of the windows required planning permission. The planning officer specified that only single glazed windows would be acceptable and detailed drawings were needed to be submitted with the planning application. Sash Window Workshop were the only supplier of several I contacted that could provide plans for and manufacture single glazed windows. Their process was very transparent and thorough. Their staff were very friendly and polite. When it came to installation, Paul and the other members of the team did a simply terrific job – they were very efficient and the quality of their work was superb. The new windows are such a huge improvement on what we had before – we are delighted. Despite being single glazed, they have reduced the noise from the main road outside dramatically.

I recently moved to a Victorian cottage with a rear kitchen/bathroom extension glazed with inappropriate UPVC windows and kitchen door. The Sash Window Workshop surveyed the existing window and door apertures and produced detailed specifications and costs which I immediately accepted. The sash windows and half glazed stable doors have now been installed, dramatically improving the rear aspect. Workmanship, communication and installation faultless. I am immensely pleased and recommend these guys wholeheartedly. Call them today!

Our newly installed front door is fabulous! The whole experience from initial contact, preliminary design, survey & final installation has been excellent. The professional, helpful approach from everyone we have dealt with was exemplary and a credit to the company. The quality of products & standard of the installation work was exceptional in every detail & the finish was superb. We can only praise The Sash Window Workshop & would, without doubt, highly recommend the company to others.

We chose the Sash Window Workshop having asked neighbours for recommendations and after having obtained quotes from 2 other companies. Replacing sash windows in a conservation area was never going to be cheap but given the number of new windows we were having installed we thought that the estimate for the work was pretty reasonable. From the initial survey right through to the installation the company were extremely efficient and helpful . Everything was delivered on time and to a very high standard . The window installers worked extremely hard and left everything clean and tidy . We are thrilled with our new windows and they definitely make the house a lot warmer and quieter . The new windows were installed in Oct 2023 and unfortunately on Feb 2024 we had an attempted break in, the intruders didn’t gain access but they did succeed in damaging one of the new sash windows , which fortunately was covered by our insurance. After some discussion the Sash Window Workshop said they were confident they could effectively repair the damage rather than having to make a new window which they did and the repaired window , looking as good as new , was reinstalled yesterday . Through the service has been really excellent and we would highly recommend the company to anyone looking to have new sash windows fitted .

We asked the Sash Window Workshop to provide a quote for secondary double glazing for an upstairs window due to increased traffic noise. The sales visit was very informative and helpful and at no point did it feel like we were being given a hard sell. It was recommended that we instead replace our window with a double-glazed option made to match the one being replaced but with sufficient gap and additional acoustic glass. Throughout the process of survey, manufacture and the lead up to installation, communication was excellent and always polite and friendly. We were helped to find a scaffolding company, and on the day of installation, the fitters arrived promptly and took care of our home, working carefully and cleaning up afterwards ( not a great deal required but it was appreciated). The window is now in, looks perfect and provides a huge improvement in noise. I can't recommend them highly enough. Extremely well made windows in keeping with our house.

We had the original 1850s bay windows on our house replaced and the fifty year old secondary glazing removed. Communication between the company and us was efficient, the survey was thorough and the installation went smoothly. Plenty of dust sheets were provided and the installers were pleasant and hard working. We are very pleased to now have windows we can open easily. The rotted sills were also replaced and the windows look great both inside and out blending well with windows which were not replaced.
