The Shower Room

After using The Shower Room for my own projects (see review for - 2 Bathrooms Transformed) I decided to use them again for my parents who were in desperate need of a transformation of their 40 year old downstairs WC hallway bathroom. My parents are in their 80's and my Father has Parkinson's so needed grab bars as well as making the small room accessible. They did not want the room to look like a hospital toilet and so I chose them some modern products including tall toilets, wavy grab bars and dark granite porcelain tiles that are non slip. Jago and his team made a special effort to get the job done before Christmas and the result is that it looks stunning, while being accessible. My parents love it for its style and function and could not be more pleased. They are glad they listened to me rather than go to a high street bathroom fitter, as once again The Shower Room proved their worth beyond doubt.

Jago and his team completely gutted and transformed our shower room quickly with great attention to detail and no fuss. He recommended the design, materials and finish and worked with us closely and exactly to budget to ensure we were delighted with the result. His team were a delight to have in our home, courteous, considerate, exceptionally tidy and as quiet as they practically could be (no radios etc) which I really appreciated as I work from home. Jago and his team created two fabulous bathrooms for us, from start to finish they were nothing but polite, meticulous, tidy, and the care and attention to detail was exemplary. Jago helped us with the design and also advised on the products he thought would be more suitable for our bathrooms. Jago and team created a stunning wet room for us which brings us joy every time we step in there. At every stage, Jago was outstanding. He visited the property and provided detailed, itemised quotes upfront, which were revised several times through our discussions. His design choices and eye for detail meant we were generally very happy to go with his recommendations straight up. Day after day, Jago and Rayan worked incredibly hard, completely gutting and rebuilding the room, doing their best to keep necessary disruption to a minimum, including cleaning up. They were both very friendly while maintaining a clear focus on the work. Despite turning into a much more complex project than originally envisaged (due to the underlying structure), Jago met every challenge calmly and showed great resilience and problem-solving to help us overcome them while keeping costs manageable. We were so impressed by his diverse skillset – and care and consideration – that we asked if we could add some additional, unrelated jobs onto the project which he showed great flexibility in accommodating. It’s Jago’s integrity that shines most, always keeping us informed, being transparent about costs and options, and exceeding expectations! We can’t recommend Jago highly enough; we’re absolutely delighted with the outcome and so happy to have found and chosen him for this work. We really hope we can use him for future projects.
