The Window Co

We have had 10 windows replace over a ten year period some of which now contain encapsulated original colourd glass. The first job was replacing a complex front door. All these jobs were carried out very efficiently with cheerful effective staff. There was no fuss or mess and the results have been most satisfactory.

The Window Co fitted some french doors at our terraced house. The work required window removal and brickwork removal. All was done in one day with no fuss, and minimal mess. The workmen were spot on, cleaned up well and did a fantastic job.

We have just had our front windows and front door replaced. Paul, Steve, Daz and Nige completed the work and were very professional and polite. The Window Co provided an excellent service from sales to installation and I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

We are really pleased with our new windows which have been fitted throughout the house - especially the sash windows. Fitters Aron and Andy were punctual, friendly and very professional. Would highly recommend.

The Window Co emailed me a quotation of £985.20 for two windows. When the surveyor came, he said lintels would be needed at extra cost. I then received an email stating the extra cost was £430 making a total of £1415.20. I rang the Which Trusted Trader Team to ask whether they regarded this kind of increase as usual practice, they said they would hope for more transparent pricing. They logged a Notice of Dissatisfaction and said they would email The Window Co asking them to contact me, they also asked me to email The Window Co, which I did. Two weeks later I rang the TT team again to say I had heard nothing back from The Window Co. The TT team said they would email The Window Co again, I said don't bother as I would not do business with them after such poor customer service. Have now had my windows done by another firm and very pleased with them.

We opted for an aluminium sliding patio door because we wanted a large expanse of glass to view the garden through. We are extremely pleased that we chose The Window Company. The service has been brilliant right from the beginning. The installation was yesterday and was done by Chris and Dave who were courteous and efficient and the doors look fantastic. We are very pleased indeed.

Although there was an issue along the way, it was sorted it out rapidly and I have no hesitation in highly recommending this company. I'm very happy with my Infinity, agate grey bay window. The fitters, Paul and Steve have done a great job. Thanks.

We recently used The Window Co for the installation of our porch, front door and windows and had a great experience from start to finish. When they initially came out to quote, they listened to what we needed, made sensible suggestions and most importantly were not pushy. This gave us a great impression from the start. In the showroom, the team were really helpful and gave some great advice to help us pick our front door. We had specific dates we needed the work to be completed in order to fit with our other house renovations and they were able to accommodate this. They were also willing to work at the same time as our bathroom fitters which again made life easier for us. When it came to the installation they arrived and after a quick walk around got straight on with the job. They were proactive in talking to our neighbours about parking their vans which was helpful. The work was done quickly and efficiently and the job was completed a day a faster than planned. On completion of the installation, Daz and Nige were not happy with a couple of minor things and bought this to my attention before I had even had chance to notice the issues. This showed me the pride they took in the work and their products. Less than 2 weeks later those minor issues have been fixed, and I didn't even need to follow up with The Window Co to get this sorted. Overall, we are very happy and had a great experience. We would definitely recommend The Window Co to friends and family.

Professionalism from start to finish. High quality windows, doors and fitting. Very, very highly recommended.

Fitted large window in lounge and a supporting lintel. Good job done, they arrived on time and completed the hob within the agreed time frame. Budget was better than expected, they were very considerate, worked within COVID 19 restrictions, left the place clean and tidy and made sure everything was protected from any dust/ damage. Sean and Tom were the young men who completed the job and they were very polite, friendly and considerate. This is a local trader and they have a lovely attitude throughout the process of placing the order and completing it. I would recommend them to anyone, good quality of materials used, good job done with the fitting and a very acceptable price.

We engaged The Window Company to replace our patio doors, which were draughty and leaky, kitchen window, and to repair and encapsulate a stained glass window on the staircase. From first meeting, through survey, to installation and the final finish – we were both impressed and delighted with their friendly, professional, courteous and diligent approach to every aspect of the work, their flexibility in accommodating our requirements for an installation date, and with the quality of the products. Particular mention must be made of the stained glass repair and encapsulation, which went above and beyond our expectations to achieve a perfect match of the replacement glass sections with the originals. The end result is beautiful. The patio doors are already noticeably less draughty (100% less would be my closest guess), significantly more substantial than the ones they replaced, and with such great care having been taken with the new seal installed at the top of the door, we no longer have a problem with water ingress. Absolutely delighted. I would recommend them to anyone.

3 bay windows, bathroom, boxroom and landing. We were very nervous about getting the work done but our worries were so unfounded. The Window Co employ the best professionals that we have ever come across. Darren and Nig were so lovely and the work was to the highest standard. The house was left spotless each night and the windows are absolutely perfect. Adam and Sam the young apprentices were also very nice and polite and good workers. I would highly recommend this company, also the price was good, not too expensive. 5 stars to The Window Company.

Decided on The Window Company after reading reviews here etc. Very pleased with all new windows and patio doors for my house. It is fair to say there were some issues and they had to come back and re-install glass and some snagging but I did have a lot of windows/doors fitted so some glass issues were to be expected especially as glass was not being made to high standards across the industry later on in lockdown. However what really impressed me was that Wayne/Steve and the team went out of their way to fix stuff and always did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. The work was completed to a high standard and they went above and beyond to fix issues. They were also competitive on price and therefore would thoroughly recommend.

The Windows Co have just fitted new uPVC windows and a set of bifolds at my new address in Sale. I had new windows fitted by them at a different property in 2021 and I had been really pleased with them and so I always knew I would use them again, if needed. This time it took me a while to decide what I wanted and I changed my mind about various things a few times, early on in the process, before settling. Whenever I called or met with anyone from the company, they were patient, polite and happy to answer my questions. The order was made when I felt satisfied with my choices and I never felt rushed. The work commenced as planned; the lads worked really hard and the result was to a high quality standard, the same as last time. I love the windows and doors, they look great and feel sturdy and secure. I would have no problem recommending the company to anyone and I would happily use them again. Special thanks to Steve for working his socks off on the job and being super knowledgeable with lots of extra (free) advice about other jobs that I need doing! Second time I have have an installation this year .Both time the staff were friendly quick professional.We are really pleased with the results. Was equally impressed with the office team who help sort out the best options, then didn't bat an eyelid when we went for something completely different. Two quality jobs so happy to recommend. We are once again very satisfied with Windows Company and our replacement kitchen door. The overall service is always efficient and everyone is very pleasant to deal with. As for the work - Lewis’ was super professional, kept the working area tidy and made the finish product look better than we could imagine. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for windows or doors so we’ll be in touch!

We had a new bedroom window and new kitchen doors fitted by The Window Co. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently, and we were very happy with the end result. The fitters were very friendly, and answered any queries we had about the job. They left everywhere clean and tidy after the work was finished. Had a new patio door fitted yesterday, great from start to finish. Arrived on time, got straight to work, and removed the old door and frame in no time (and no mess either). The new Sheerline French doors look amazing, the finishing work is of an excellent standard, and everything was completed with absolutely no drama, and the area was completely tidied at the end of the job. The team was polite & friendly, and very easy to have in your home! This is our second time using this company, both have been excellent experiences. I'd thoroughly recommend them. From the initial inquiry to completion, everything was carried out to the highest standards.

Darren and Nigel did an excellent job of replacing our conservatory roof. They were at our property for four days, all of which were stress free. The roof was completed efficiently and in a very professional manner. Both men were informative as to each stage of the build, and kept mess down to a minimum. The day they completed the job they left our conservatory spotless clean. They were two extremely pleasant and polite tradesmen. The last day of the build we were visited by two plasterers. They also worked efficiently and left a very tidy conservatory on completion. We are delighted with our new roof and would definitely recommend you to others.

Excellent work yet again by The Window Company. This time 3 windows replaced with minimum disruption and beautifully finished. From placing request to Sally to completion by Andy Adam and Lee the work was done efficiently and considerately including cleaning up and removal of old windows. Well done everyone!

I had a new composite front door fitted. Lewis and Sam got on with the work straight away from 8:30am, and worked to completion. They demonstrated a great attitude to fitting my new door and it was a pleasure to see how they enjoyed doing a great job. They were very professional and they restored my faith in tradesmen doing a good job. The Window Co have been excellent to deal with from start to finish. From Sally on sales, Angela on reception, Phil on surveying, and of course Lewis and Sam on fitting. All work was completed to the agreed schedule and budget. The Window Co were able to fit me a new composite front door at a price which Safestyle and Everest couldn't even match with a UPVC one! I can't recommend The Window Co highly enough and I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you The Window Co.

Just had 2 sets of bay windows and a brand new front door fitted by Adam and Andy. The level of workmanship and attention to detail was second to none, amazing carpentry, etc. Every detail was given their attention, including parking, explanation of front door mechanisms, etc. They were so polite and considerate, and not patronising. We are so pleased with their work and would recommend them. I had been a bit apprehensive about having work done, but need not have worried.

Because their work is head and shoulders above the rest; advice is sound; the guys working are polite, clearly know their stuff and are in the very best sense just get on with the job. We don't even bother asking other firms these days.
