Our house is 25 years old and windows at the back had become draughty. We had attempted to replace a gasket ourselves to resolve the issue, but with little success. Carl at The Window Doctor diagnosed the issue was with the window hinges, which needed replacing. Diagnosis and quote were free and the work was carried out within a week (would have been two weeks, but they had a cancellation). Our windows are now draught free. Communication throughout was excellent and the cost was very reasonable. Overall, would definitely recommend and, if necessary, would have no hesitation in using The Window Doctor again.

From enquiry to fitting, received 5* customer service. Alex initially visited to listen to what was needed and gave good advice - no pressured selling - quite refreshing - smart appearance, mindful of the property at all times with overshoes and asking, not assuming. Fast follow-up to appointment where Carl fitted one pane of patterned glass and then adjusted draughty window - all done with professionalism, tidiness, and experience. Again, Carl asked, didn't assume and was of smart appearance, and it was again refreshing to hear how much he is committed to the Company. Invoicing via Xero, easy to use and instantly knows when paid. Concise information on the Invoice regarding what has been done and regarding the Guarantee. This was excellent value for money. Would recommend and will definitely use again if needed, down to the whole experience of Customer Service.

Service was perfect from start to finish. Phone calls were clear, polite and efficient and timings for work were adhered to -with extra text messages used to say the fitter was on his way. Carl the fitter was very polite and pleasant and he brought a mat and overshoes to ensure he didn’t leave a mess, the work area was kept clean and the pane changed quickly and with no fuss. The new glass fitted, with vat total cost £114.

A lot of windows in the house were drafty and so when I saw one of the vans I made a call to see what they could do. Right from the first call to book an appointment for an engineer visit till the job was completed, it was amazing how throughly professional the whole team was. As I was having all the hinges on 24 windows changed, they had originally booked two engineers to do the job but on the day four arrived. Carl, Jay, Allen & Diana were very professional and ensured that no damage or carpets were soiled. A lock on one window was not functioning but they never raised it and changed it at no extra cost. In today’s time no one does that. Thank you Carl, Jay, Allen and Diana.

I’m always cautious, even when reading positive reviews. But in this instance I was pleasantly surprised. I used the on line service for the Window Doctor in Leicester. The service from beginning to end was seemless. The appointment arranged, Carl, the service engineer, notified me in advance that he was on the way. On time and extremely polite. I had a number of areas of concern, windows blown, doors that wouldn’t lock in cold weather and seals that needed replacing. Carl was very good and allayed some unnecessary concerns. Depriving himself from some additional business. That’s always a positive with me. We agreed a price, and as promised two weeks later Carl was back completing all aspects of the service. Again on time. There were some challenges, especially with the doors, it was apparent, right from the start, he wasn’t leaving until he’d sorted the doors to his satisfaction. It’s okay, was not good enough in his mind. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this service again.

We had a broken hinge on bathroom window so window would not close. Contacted Dr Window on line and made appointment for Thursday 25th September 2025 between 12.00 and 16.30. I was kept informed by text from this company every step of the way. Eddie (workman) who repaired the window was friendly, presentable and did a really good job. I would certainly use this company again.

I didn't realise a window repair service was available until I saw the Window Doctors van outside a neighbors and was expecting to have to replace the whole window. Thankfully Eddie from WD visited and gave me a price which I thought very reasonable and agreed for the work to be done. Eddie returned about 10 days later and in less than 30 minutes had removed the window, replaced the hinges and refitted it taking great care to make sure the closure had a good seal. I will use Window Doctors again if I need to and highly recommend them to anyone with window and door issues.

From phoning for the first time through having a member of staff measure up to finally Eddie their fitter/engineer fitting the glass. All were extremely professional and helpful. Eddie was smart my and professionally dressed,efficiency and polite. The whole process takes you back to when things like service matters a rare thing unfortunately these days. On top of that they were very reasonably priced. Would I use them again and recommend them? Hell Yes !

Repairs to UPVC French doors, including fixing failed door catches, replacing both locks, re hanging the doors so they were level and sealed against the frame when closed. Happy to recommend to other Hinckley households. Easy to contact via their website and arrange a home visit for a no obligation quote. First visit, they quickly assessed the damage and talked through various options, then supplied a same day detailed quote (in writing, via email). Once quote approved online, they were quick to source the spare parts and book in the repair. Carl was professional, tidy, dog friendly, did exactly what was quoted for. Good to know they're close by should we ever need them again.

I had 3 windows that have lost the seal and needed replacing i contacted the window doctor i had a representative come measured all the windows gave me a price within a couple of minutes i was so surprised because one of the windows was very big within a couple of days i had a call and a date was fixed and the work was carried out out to a high standard i found the whole experience easy and very professional i would recommend this company to my family and friends and anyone who wants a professional job and i must say they cleaned up afterwards and cleaned the windows as well i will be sure to use these again if i need to

Work carried out was to replace window brackets on all windows. Replace window locks, replace glass on french door. Quote was very reasonable and service was very professional from the first contact, to receiving quote and fitment. The window fitters were polite and respectful of my property and cleaned up after the job was completed. The ladies who dealt with my calls were helpful and my appointment was booked at earliest convenience. I would definately recommend this company.

I had some glass replaced in both my front and back door by another window repair company. This lead to both doors being out of line and I was unable to close my backdoor. I called the window doctor to have a look at the issue with my back door and repair if possible. They explained why the door would not close and was because the door was not aligned with the glass not being packed in the corners. This was ratified fixing the back door. They also looked at the front door which had the same issue.

After a bad experience with the original installer of our windows, we were left with 23 windows that didn't seal... for 7 years! We struggled to find anyone to come and help us with this as the original company repeatedly failed to rectify their many mistakes, and hid away from any further contact. James visited to inspect and quote for the job, and we instantly got a good feeling that there was light at the end of the tunnel. It was a big and tricky job carried out over two full days, not long after we had agreed a price for the work, which included a replacement hinge for an external door. Carl, Eddie and also briefly Alan, resolved the problems with friendliness, hard work, care and efficiency. To say impressed is an understatement. Something we've been forced to live with for 7 years, has been professionally resolved in 2 days. The relief and peace I'm feeling after this work was carried out are amazing feelings. I cannot recommend this company enough for any work on your windows and doors. You will be looked after by a professional company that delivers what they say they will
