First class experience from a first class company. We had solar panels and a backup storage battery fitted to help offset and optimise our home energy usage. Tile Energy were recommended and we organised a home visit by James their planner who discussed various options with no hard sell, just a good understanding and knowledge. Once we agreed to the work, Tile Energy took care of approval from National Grid and we were kept up to date with information via email and telephone for deliveries and a start date which best suited us. On the date of installation four guys turned up at 8.30am as agreed and were very professional in all aspects of their work, polite, tidy, neat and most importantly good quality workmanship, taking the time to ask how we would like the electrical items set out and fixed to the side of the house in an order that suited us not just the easiest or quickest for fixing. We are usually reluctant to post recommendations just incase someone doesn’t have the same experience as us, however these guys were so good (100% excellent), it’s only fair to leave a good review and wish Tile Energy and their staff all the best for the future.

The project consisted of removing & disposing of my roof tiles and replacing them with GSE Trays designed to take Solar Panel in the "In-roof" configuration. Then 15 off Solar Panels with optimisers were secured to the trays and connected to a Solar Edge inverter. While this was going on the electrical team mounted a Tesla Gateway 2 next to the incoming mains cabinet and a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery on the back wall of the property. On powering up the system it immediately started to generate 6 kW which went into powering the house & charging the Tesla Battery, eliminating the need for electricity from the grid. The Tesla Gateway enables the house to be powered from Solar & battery in case of a failure of the incoming mains supply. It has now been running for 12 days and in this time this system has supplied 95% of my entire electrical power requirement. The project went very smoothly over 2 days. The resulting external appearance is attractive, and all the required cables have been routed through the loft so they are tidily hidden away out of sight as far as possible. 3 days after the installation, everything was confirmed to be working correctly and the scaffolding & rubbish skip were removed, leaving no outstanding mess. Follow-up questions were answered promptly.

Tile Energy were a delight dealing with. From the initial contact sorting a visit out, to the Tech/Sales guy showing up after a very long and tiring day having listened to 8 sales appointments previously. He saw we were fatigued and treated us well, he explained everything and gave options. There was no hardsell. We decided on 19 panels with the option to add a battery on later. We were not pressured to sign anything and the service we had from the office leading up to installation, organising Scaffolders and after-service was great. Brilliant communication, clean and polite workforce who respected our home and left it tidy. We are very happy with the end result and price and would highly recommend Tile Energy.

We liked Tile Energy first because they weren't "hard sell"; we felt they were genuinely giving us sensible advice, and they seemed to be selling quality products. The Solar Edge optimisers, which increase the safety of the installation, and enable ongoing monitoring, as well as dealing with the effects of shade, clinched it for us. The work was done to schedule, very quickly, and the electricians were pleasant and helpful. No issues so far with the installation and it seems to be working well. Our queries were dealt with extremely promptly. I'd certainly recommend Tile Energy.

It is often said that you get what you pay for and this was delivered in spades by Tile Energy. Having made enquiries with several competitors, Tile Energy was the only PV supplier and installer that made a home visit before committing to a quotation. The Tile Energy surveyor was noticeably more experienced and knowledgeable than the others I had spoken to. This coupled with their offer of more advanced Solar Edge system monitoring and panel optimisation and higher capacity solar panels than the competitors made my decision a firm one. The installation work was done efficiently with care and tidiness. The post installation administrative work was also handled with care and courtesy.

I checked out multiple solar providers but I really had trust in Andy Tasker. It took a 2 years to commit with Andy always available to answer questions but never a pushy salesman. Having made the decision the team put us into their schedule and came on time. The weather was appalling but that didn’t stop them. It was the first Powerwall 3 Simon and Liam had installed so maybe I got special treatment but they were fantastic. The job was efficiently completed even with my constant interruptions (natural curiosity). Up and running and loving watching the interactions of the panels, the grid and the Powerwall. I’ve become a bore to family and friends. I highly recommend Tile Energy.

Tile energy fitted Solar panels on our garage roof. The customer service before installation was exceptional. An informative meeting at the house with a representative who still checks in with us. The information regarding the schedule for installation was very good. The guys who did the installation were efficient friendly and cheerful. The follow up service was amazing . We would have no hesitation in recommending this Company.

From first contact and survey to cleaning up the site Tile Energy were professional, friendly and efficient. Follow-up questions post-installation were dealt with pretty much immediately and I don't doubt they will keep to their promise of looking after us whenever we need some help. I'm fairly cynical, but they really did outperform our expectations.

I could not fault any thing from first visit to finish job.Very professional, tidy and polite ,good time management.also had very good chat with Simon(Electrician) looks like there company looks after them very well.After they finished there job we noticed next Day we have birds/Pigeons on our roof , Reported to tile energy and staff came around same day to install protective fence so there won’t be birds nest under solar panels.

We decided to get a quotation from Tile Energy after a recommendation from a family member. Craig from the sales team came out to our house to conduct a full survey and answer any questions that we had. Craig provided us with a full overview of the system they could provide to us. We agreed on a total of 16 solar panels, the Solar Edge inverter technology system and a TESLA Powerwall 2 AC battery. Once we paid our deposit a project team was appointed to manage our installation. The customer service that this team provided has been outstanding, everyone was very professional and friendly. Both the distribution company contracted to deliver the system units and the scaffolding company personnel were all very professional and represented Tile Energy very well. The installation team arrived on time and gave us a full overview of exactly what they would be installing. The whole process took just over one day and the quality of their workmanship was of a very high standard. Overall, Tile Energy provided us with a first class service with an amazing commitment to customer service. We would highly recommend Tile Energy to anyone looking to install a solar panel and battery system.

The work was quoted by Tile energy and was one of three quotes but Tile Energy were the only ones that listened to what I would like and quote me correctly. The installation has been carried out to a high standard and i am very happy with the finished installation. When they did not finish on the date they promised mainly due to bad weather the office kept me informed as to when it would be completed. I had to wait 5 more days for completion but they turned up as promised and completed the work. The electrician was excellent. I have recommended to other family members and would have no problem using them again

Positives: TE install industry leading SolarEdge gear; there is usually someone available to talk to at the helpline. I'd love to be able to say all went well, alas it did not. The contract did not include a timetable of work. Relying on the sales message in this respect left too much room to interpretation and misunderstanding, which did happen. The scaffolders were extremely unreliable. Elevation/removal dates moved many times, causing delays, wasted effort and frustration. On their last visit, the scaffolders fly-tipped a stray tree branch against a neighbour’s garden wall. After the scaffolding had gone, it became clear that four gutter support brackets suffered damage. Communication between office and those working on customer premises: room for improvement. E.g. the installers were unaware that the job included the bird guard until I pointed this out. Next, I was assured twice by office staff that a certain job had been agreed, only to hear the electrician deny any knowledge of this, also twice. At one point, TE reissued the contract; this was triggered by a minor change to the panel spec (415 to 420 Wp). I noticed that, unexpectedly, the update was not limited to the 'panels' entry but the general contract wording changed, too. So I had to reread 30+ pages and rediscuss my findings; could have done without this. I could go on. All that said, I'm happy with the system. If long term reliability and aftercare is good I may come to view TE more favourably in future.

We contacted Tile Energy following a personal recommendation and reading prior reviews. Our initial contact was with Ahmed, who was excellent in listening to our requirements and suggesting options. We ultimately decided to go ahead with a 24 panel SolarEdge system and Tesla Battery. Due to supply issues following high industry demand the delivery of our system was going to be some months from the design stage, but this was made clear. The price of the system was locked in from the agreement date and remained unchanged. India and Demi were happy to provide updates and work around our plans when install dates arrived. Everyone we met or were in contact with through the process were very friendly. All work was completed to a high standard. We are very pleased with the final result. A special thanks goes to Leke as well who assisted with information to ensure that we could have an install with no cables showing.

Among the several solar installation companies that we interviewed Tile Energy came out as being the most knowledgeable and least pushy. At that time there was then an explosion in the demand for solar panels and, not surprisingly, a significant delay before our installation. The only gripe that we had was that, prior to installation, we should have installed a comms cable from the garage to the consumer unit. We had not been told about this. However, the installation went according to plan and installed by the companies own employees. We had rejected other companies who we suspected would sub-contract out the work. The system has been running for a few weeks now and we are pleased with the results. The after sales service has been particularly good and Liam has quickly supplied us with answers. I would certainly recommend Tile Energy to future customers.

6kW Solar PV System with Tesla Gateway 2 + Powerwall 2 Tile Energy have provided me with a positive, informed experience from start to finish. From my initial contact after an industry tradesman recommendation for the type of system I required, all Tile staff have been helpful. Leke, the sales lead engaged with good, clear comms and pandered to my inquisitive nature supplying me with sound answers to my many queries. Although my order coincided with the start of the 2022 UK energy crisis, lead times were explained (and kept to). Whilst I may have had to prompt for feedback and information at times, the responses were always forthcoming and timely. The handover pack I was supplied with was comprehensive and in my dealings with the electrical installation team I found them friendly, efficient and professional. Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending Tile Energy for anybody considering a solar PV installation - indeed l already have. RJ - Dorset

A great company to do business with. Good system specified with good quality components. From the initial visit to final commissioning I found the company responsive to any questions asked. Shortages of components worldwide presented challenges that were dealt with efficiently. All trades, scaffolders, installers and electricians performed their jobs really well and efficiently. Capable and pleasant people to have at your house. All waste was removed. One problem occurred after the commissioning of the battery, this was dealt with very proactively in a couple of days. Now having had the system fully running for a couple of months not only am I very pleased with the investment but I am also very pleased that I picked Tile Energy.

From design to completion Tile Energy have been professional and helpful. Problems were sorted out with the minimum of delay. I now have a high quality installation working perfectly.

I chose Tile Energy over two other companies because their response to any of my questions was much faster and more detailed than the others. Their price was competitive, not the lowest cost but I felt the best value for money in terms of my perceived impression of what after-sales support would be like. So far this has proved to be correct. During the commissioning process, a few problems were encountered but all were corrected. The installation plan went exactly according to schedule with very minimal disruption. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't want and were very honest in their assessment of what I wanted so overall I would recommend Tile Energy and give them a 5 Star Rating.

We contacted them in late January regarding the installation of solar panels. Someone rang us within 24 hours to arrange a time for an engineer to call us to discuss the project. He gave us a lot of useful info and by 7/2 we had signed the agreement and paid the third deposit. They then applied for the licence to go-ahead from the grid which we were warned would take about 8 weeks. In April they contacted us to say they had not had the response yet but could they install the panels as they had engineers available, we agreed, they were installed 25/4, they had to respond to the application on 3 May, rang us and they then returned to complete the installation on 5th May with the scaffolding being removed 2 days later. All the way through the project they did what they said they would on the day they said. The engineers were very nice and considerate. They gave us a great amount of information from the start and as soon as it was completed they provided certificate details of how we monitor the system. We were never left in the dark. The only hold up was due to the Electricity provider and this was largely due to the large number of applications going through due to the fuel price hike. We are so happy we used Tile Energy!

My Solar Edge panels x 16 & Zappi car charger were installed end of March 2022 and I am delighted! On average, so far my panels are producing 115KWH per week, I use about 60-70KWH per week. On a sunny day 24.5KWH, on a cloudy day the lowest they’ve produced is about 8KWH. They are great! From start to finish Leke was responsive to all my phone calls, my numerous questions, he explained everything in a non-patronising but clear way. He did not push, no hard selling at all. I obtained quotes from 2 other suppliers & I found Leke was the most straightforward, most clear. Once I made my mind up, it took me a year to decide, my panels were installed within the same month. Leke & his team coordinated everything so smoothly, scaffolding, delivery of panels/materials, installation & clear up. No hassle, no fuss. His electrician James & installers Simon & Kane were lovely, very efficient, but also a pleasure to have in my house. Genuinely nice gentlemen. Amazing 5* service all round, thank you Leke & team! I am highly recommending Tile Energy to all that ask about my solar panels.

Leke and team were great. I spent a few months researching the solution that I wanted and Leke was really good at explaining the options available. The install of the panels was fast and in fact the tile energy team managed to improve the panel layout design so we would get an extra panel! There was a wait for the battery (due to supplier delays) but now we have the battery installed and everything is working file. Tile Energy are a great company to use, very reliable, competitive pricing and easy to deal with!

From the start we were given clear down-to-earth advice on the type of system that would be suitable for our house and quickly given a very competitive quotation. The quotation was very comprehensive and enabled us to understand the likely system output and confirm there would be no issues with planning permission etc. On the day of installation, the panels were installed quickly and efficiently on the roof followed by the cabling and inverter in the garage. The whole system is neat and tidy and was up running by early afternoon. Over the last few weeks, the system has performed faultlessly and has already produced 450 kWh. We are very pleased with the supplier and the system they installed.

From initial enquiry to completion of all works took less than 3 weeks. All members of staff that I dealt with were very efficient and friendly and Leke certainly knows his stuff. On the day my system was installed the team were very organised, very tidy and had finished by lunchtime. I have had no issues since but have had 2 follow-up calls to make sure I am happy and that I don’t have any questions. I would have no trouble in recommending this company to anyone thinking about solar panels for their home or business.
