We decided to get a quotation from Tile Energy after a recommendation from a family member. Craig from the sales team came out to our house to conduct a full survey and answer any questions that we had. Craig provided us with a full overview of the system they could provide to us. We agreed on a total of 16 solar panels, the Solar Edge inverter technology system and a TESLA Powerwall 2 AC battery. Once we paid our deposit a project team was appointed to manage our installation. The customer service that this team provided has been outstanding, everyone was very professional and friendly. Both the distribution company contracted to deliver the system units and the scaffolding company personnel were all very professional and represented Tile Energy very well. The installation team arrived on time and gave us a full overview of exactly what they would be installing. The whole process took just over one day and the quality of their workmanship was of a very high standard. Overall, Tile Energy provided us with a first class service with an amazing commitment to customer service. We would highly recommend Tile Energy to anyone looking to install a solar panel and battery system.

The work was quoted by Tile energy and was one of three quotes but Tile Energy were the only ones that listened to what I would like and quote me correctly. The installation has been carried out to a high standard and i am very happy with the finished installation. When they did not finish on the date they promised mainly due to bad weather the office kept me informed as to when it would be completed. I had to wait 5 more days for completion but they turned up as promised and completed the work. The electrician was excellent. I have recommended to other family members and would have no problem using them again

Positives: TE install industry leading SolarEdge gear; there is usually someone available to talk to at the helpline. I'd love to be able to say all went well, alas it did not. The contract did not include a timetable of work. Relying on the sales message in this respect left too much room to interpretation and misunderstanding, which did happen. The scaffolders were extremely unreliable. Elevation/removal dates moved many times, causing delays, wasted effort and frustration. On their last visit, the scaffolders fly-tipped a stray tree branch against a neighbour’s garden wall. After the scaffolding had gone, it became clear that four gutter support brackets suffered damage. Communication between office and those working on customer premises: room for improvement. E.g. the installers were unaware that the job included the bird guard until I pointed this out. Next, I was assured twice by office staff that a certain job had been agreed, only to hear the electrician deny any knowledge of this, also twice. At one point, TE reissued the contract; this was triggered by a minor change to the panel spec (415 to 420 Wp). I noticed that, unexpectedly, the update was not limited to the 'panels' entry but the general contract wording changed, too. So I had to reread 30+ pages and rediscuss my findings; could have done without this. I could go on. All that said, I'm happy with the system. If long term reliability and aftercare is good I may come to view TE more favourably in future.

We contacted Tile Energy following a personal recommendation and reading prior reviews. Our initial contact was with Ahmed, who was excellent in listening to our requirements and suggesting options. We ultimately decided to go ahead with a 24 panel SolarEdge system and Tesla Battery. Due to supply issues following high industry demand the delivery of our system was going to be some months from the design stage, but this was made clear. The price of the system was locked in from the agreement date and remained unchanged. India and Demi were happy to provide updates and work around our plans when install dates arrived. Everyone we met or were in contact with through the process were very friendly. All work was completed to a high standard. We are very pleased with the final result. A special thanks goes to Leke as well who assisted with information to ensure that we could have an install with no cables showing.

Among the several solar installation companies that we interviewed Tile Energy came out as being the most knowledgeable and least pushy. At that time there was then an explosion in the demand for solar panels and, not surprisingly, a significant delay before our installation. The only gripe that we had was that, prior to installation, we should have installed a comms cable from the garage to the consumer unit. We had not been told about this. However, the installation went according to plan and installed by the companies own employees. We had rejected other companies who we suspected would sub-contract out the work. The system has been running for a few weeks now and we are pleased with the results. The after sales service has been particularly good and Liam has quickly supplied us with answers. I would certainly recommend Tile Energy to future customers.

6kW Solar PV System with Tesla Gateway 2 + Powerwall 2 Tile Energy have provided me with a positive, informed experience from start to finish. From my initial contact after an industry tradesman recommendation for the type of system I required, all Tile staff have been helpful. Leke, the sales lead engaged with good, clear comms and pandered to my inquisitive nature supplying me with sound answers to my many queries. Although my order coincided with the start of the 2022 UK energy crisis, lead times were explained (and kept to). Whilst I may have had to prompt for feedback and information at times, the responses were always forthcoming and timely. The handover pack I was supplied with was comprehensive and in my dealings with the electrical installation team I found them friendly, efficient and professional. Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending Tile Energy for anybody considering a solar PV installation - indeed l already have. RJ - Dorset

A great company to do business with. Good system specified with good quality components. From the initial visit to final commissioning I found the company responsive to any questions asked. Shortages of components worldwide presented challenges that were dealt with efficiently. All trades, scaffolders, installers and electricians performed their jobs really well and efficiently. Capable and pleasant people to have at your house. All waste was removed. One problem occurred after the commissioning of the battery, this was dealt with very proactively in a couple of days. Now having had the system fully running for a couple of months not only am I very pleased with the investment but I am also very pleased that I picked Tile Energy.

From design to completion Tile Energy have been professional and helpful. Problems were sorted out with the minimum of delay. I now have a high quality installation working perfectly.

I chose Tile Energy over two other companies because their response to any of my questions was much faster and more detailed than the others. Their price was competitive, not the lowest cost but I felt the best value for money in terms of my perceived impression of what after-sales support would be like. So far this has proved to be correct. During the commissioning process, a few problems were encountered but all were corrected. The installation plan went exactly according to schedule with very minimal disruption. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't want and were very honest in their assessment of what I wanted so overall I would recommend Tile Energy and give them a 5 Star Rating.

We contacted them in late January regarding the installation of solar panels. Someone rang us within 24 hours to arrange a time for an engineer to call us to discuss the project. He gave us a lot of useful info and by 7/2 we had signed the agreement and paid the third deposit. They then applied for the licence to go-ahead from the grid which we were warned would take about 8 weeks. In April they contacted us to say they had not had the response yet but could they install the panels as they had engineers available, we agreed, they were installed 25/4, they had to respond to the application on 3 May, rang us and they then returned to complete the installation on 5th May with the scaffolding being removed 2 days later. All the way through the project they did what they said they would on the day they said. The engineers were very nice and considerate. They gave us a great amount of information from the start and as soon as it was completed they provided certificate details of how we monitor the system. We were never left in the dark. The only hold up was due to the Electricity provider and this was largely due to the large number of applications going through due to the fuel price hike. We are so happy we used Tile Energy!
