Tim and the team have recently supported us with two large-scale projects, throughout the communication was great, they booked a date and began work without hesitation! Nothing was too much for them! Would recommend!

Tim Lawson just located and fitted a new cooker hood for me, after the matter came up in conversation as he was doing another job. I had given up the attempt to find someone to do what is quite a small but tricky job as it needed to fit exactly. Tim is very skilled and knowledgeable in his area of work and can be trusted to come when he says he will come, charge what he says he will charge, use good quality products, do the work to a high standard and not leave anything in a mess. He didn’t himself offer a disposal service for the old cooker hood, but did give contact details for a free disposal service. The service he offers is not cheap, but I would certainly use him again.

I needed two new kitchen LED light fittings to replace obsolete fluorescent tubes. Tim was quick to respond and communication was good. Pricing and billing clear. A neat and professional job. Would definitely use again.

I had a big problem with no electrical supply to a newly installed Triton electric shower that had been fitted by a Triton engineer on 8/2/2024. After engineer had fitted replacement shower he discovered that electric supply was not getting to new shower and he advised me to contact an electrician. I rang Tim Lawson Electrician who advised that he would be able to visit on the 8/2/2024 after 13:00 hours (with a 2 hour timeframe). Tim and his partner Harvey sent a text message advising of arrival at scheduled time. After inspecting the consumer unit he confirmed that there was a problem and advised us to upgrade the MCB with an RCBO of a higher rating to both our electric showers. Also replaced the isolator switch that turns shower on with a new more modern switch. An excellent job done by Tim (he also commissioned the shower for us and tested it. Price was very reasonable for the amount of time and work done. Would not hesitate to recommend Tim Lawson for any electrical work you need doing. One extremely pleased customer. Tim and his team comminuted really well from enquiry to completion of job. Arrived on time, completed the jobs efficiently and cleanly. No concerns about work completed but really got the sense from Tim that if I had a problem he would recifty immediately. Would recommend to friends and family.

Tim fitted me a new 5ft LED light fitting in my kitchen, the workers done without any problems. The kitchen was left clean and tidy after the work. Would recommend Tim to anyone who required an electrician.

Recently contacted Tim to do some work at my property and was able to schedule the booking in for the work quickly not long after quote given really reasonable quotes and cleaned up after himself Didn't receive the email after work was done so contacted Tim and managed to solve the issue but I would 100 percent recommend and would use again

Tim Lawson contractors installed some lights and reviewed my electrical installation for me. I am very pleased with the work they did. They were professional and respectful. They were flexible with the booking so that the work could be done when I was ready and available. They informed me when they had to cancel my first booking and promptly offered me another appointment. After the testing Tim spent time giving me verbal feedback and explained the next steps. I will be happy to recommend them and I will use them again.

Asked Tim to call to give me a free quotation for new consumer unit and cooker point as well as a new extraction unit in the bathroom. The price seemed reasonable and Tim started on the day promised completing the work on time and for the price quoted. They treated our house with respect and constantly cleaned up as they went. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will be using them again for some other work in the near future

I chose Tim because he's a local tradesman. He came within 2 days to assess the job and gave me advice on the most suitable replacement. 10 days later I received a quote which I found acceptable. I confirmed that i wanted him to carry on and rang Sam ( his RH man) to arrange the installation date on the 10th May 2023. I sent a 30% deposit. Tim, with his apprentice, fitted it. Everything went perfectly Tim was polite and his communication with via Sam was exemplary. I was updated regularly and reminded of the fitting window. On the day I was notified in real time that he was picking up the unit and once he was on his way give an exact time of his arrival in this case 19 minutes. I cannot express how impressed I was with the whole experience. I would recommend Tim to anyone who wants and electrician

Contacted Tim Lawson Electrical to arrange a landlords check for a rental property, they were very helpful and quoted a price for the work, they arrived on the date and did the inspection, then promptly contacted me to advise on a few small jobs that were required to keep up to current regulations. Again they quoted the price and arrived on the date, carried out the work. From start to finish they were very professional and kept me informed throughout. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to other people.

Tim Lawson was a pleasure to have in the house. The invoiced price was agreed and he arrived on time on the pre agreed day. He replaced the unit , explained the workings to me and checked that all the sockets and lights were working correctly. We encountered an issue and had lost part of our electrical circuit. Tim’s team tried to resolve it by troubleshooting over the phone. It required Tim to pop out to us. I had some lights repaired and some security lights fitted. I was very happy with the work and can definitely recommend this electrician. He was quick efficient and very friendly.

I had Tim round to do electrical work. Thought I would try him as I have had several other electricians for other work and would not have them back. Having just carried out some major alterations to our kitchen for which I needed quite a lot of electrical alterations and additions I used Tim Lawson. I found him and the apprentice really easy to get on with and they completed all of the planned work plus the extras that we needed. First Class job and on budget.

Had three new ceiling light fittings requiring installation, including removal of old ones, one of which was a light/fan. Booked a time and a date for the work to be done. On the day, received a message informing me when Tim would arrive. And he arrived promptly, on time. First impressions, very polite and amicable, explained what I wanted he explained how he was going to do it and then he got on with the work. It's been a week now everything is working as it should. Overall happy with the work carried out happy with the manner in which Tim carried himself in my home cost don't know what other electricians charge but it seemed a fair price for the work and I'm happy to support a local business. Overall On personal experience I would be happy to call Tim for any electrical work I may need doing and have kept his number in my phone contacts list.
