Timber Windows (Southern) were recommended by a friend whose front door we had admired. We are delighted they were. We looked at different door options at their Horndean showroom and received detailed and patient advice about type of door, design, hardware and guarantees. The door and frame was delivered ahead of time and installed with meticulous care. The paintwork is immaculate. Both the surveyor who measured up and the door fitters were pleasant and efficient. After the door was fitted, we received a call next day to check that we were satisfied. We were advised that occasionally the doors need slight realignment after they have bedded in but that there would be no problem about doing this. This had indeed occurred with our friend's door and it was quickly and efficiently dealt with: one of the factors which gave us confidence in the company. Their doors are expensive but you definitely get what you pay for.

This was the third project we had done to replace windows in our house. This one was a large bay window in our sitting room and a small bathroom window. Having used Timer Windows twice before we knew what we were getting. We had previously considered UPVC and Aluminium, but both have drawbacks. we also wanted windows that suited the style of the 1920's house. Timber windows engineered wood was best for style and it seemed offered guarentees that mitigated some of the concerns about wood. having had the first set of windows in for 8-9 years we felt they lived up to the billing. We had the front two baywindows of the house replaced a few years later, and when we decided on the 3rd Bay it was an easy choice. I have to say Timber windows is not cheap. It's a sharp intake of breath time when you get the quote. But they are good. The installers on each occasion have been good. Very good at managing expectations before hand. They arrived on the start date as promised. Worked around us. Paid attention to the detailing after the windows fitted into the space. The windows operate well. all true and no sense that anything has been left squiffy. The office team managed the booking, invoicing and managing expectations well. When we had a minor problem with one of the windows installed 5 ish years ago, it was well managed and sorted out. I'd have no hesitation recommending Timber windows for a quality window installation.

We looked at 5 window and door companies for our house renovation and extension as we required over 20 sash windows and front door. Timber Windows we’re not the cheapest or most expensive, but to us they offered the best value from the look, feel and technical specification of their windows and doors to the installation service. The whole team from sales, admin and installation have all been marvellous from day one. The windows and door look wonderful. All the trades working on the house and our neighbours have commented on how good it all looks. The professionalism and attention to detail of the fitting team clearly sets them above others we’ve used in the past and to top it all they’re all really nice people that you can trust in your home. It took us a while to get there, but we’re so pleased that we settled on Timber Windows for our house renovation and extension.

We have been replacing our windows over the last three years, this time they replaced 4 windows and 3 doors. The doors and windows look great and we already notice how quiet the house is. The four fitters that worked on the job over three days were hard working and conscientious, ensuring that the windows were left neat and tidy. Installation of my UPVC windows conducted very professionally and extremely high standard with minimal disruption. Team were very respect and a pleasure to interact with. Health and safety and all personal individual equipment were present and used on the property. This is the fourth project completed by Timber Windows, the previous ones being one large dining room window; two stable doors and a further large dining room window and one small dormer window. This one covered 5 rooms and the installation of replacement of 7 sash windows. The critical factor was keeping the appearance of the house the same whilst providing better-sealed windows and double glazing. All rooms had been decorated in the past few years and we hoped for minimal damage. We also have shutters to 4 of the windows which had to remain functional. The team took 4 1/2 days with two people plus one extra on one day. The disruption to us was minimal. The internal damage to decorated surfaces was nil! It was exceptional as to how they did that. External damage was a little repair to the outside rendering and the concrete sills need re-painting in three cases. Again minimal. Excellent workmanship. Brilliant problem solving when an issue arose over the shutters. First class workmanship. High quality finishes and a team who were a joy to work with. Well done Timber Windows. Yet again you lived up to your reputation.

We recently had three windows and a pair of French doors replaced. Every interaction we had with the team was professional and friendly. They have vast experience with listed buildings which gave us confidence that they understood our particular requirements. Our expectations were managed from the outset in relation to lead times and the final result was well worth waiting for. The installation went smoothly; the fitters had a really good eye for detail, were consultative and went the extra mile. Everything was left neat and tidy and as for the windows and doors themselves, we couldn’t be happier. Excellent service from start to finish, highly recommend.
