We went to Timber Windows for a new entrance door, having finally given up on the thin, draughty (and, by now, frankly tatty!) one we inherited on buying our house six years ago. The showroom experience at Horndean was helpful and entirely without pressure, with all options available on site to view. Having placed our order we were faced with a long wait, but our door emerged from the manufacturing process as scheduled and the the paperwork trail was impeccable. Excellent attention to detail - we were contacted a week in advance of installation to ensure we hadn't forgotten to arrange for the rerouting of our intruder alarm. On the day the crew arrived on time, protected the site, installed the new door and fine-tuned the locking system until they were completely happy with its smooth operation and cleaned up after themselves - can't fault them in any way. The company isn't a cheap option, but they provide a quality product which will clearly be long-lived. Our draughty hallway is transformed. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending Timber Windows, even for doors!

We are delighted with our new window. Jack and his team were very professional. careful in all that they had to do, cleaned up afterwards and left everything ship shape. They were helpful, pleasant and polite, we could not fault their workmanship. We had been looking for suitable replacement timber windows for some years. Two things held us back, the first finding a quality product that really replicated our original windows and the second our concern of the upheaval of having the works carried out as all our windows, and a door, needed replacement. The product was exactly what we were looking for in terms of looks, style and quality and the advice received when making the order valued. Critically, the installation was then carried out by a friendly team with obvious care and pride in their work - both in removal of the old windows and installation of the new ones. We are delighted with the result.

We are completely delighted with our new windows and the service from the whole team at Timber Windows, Horndean. From start to completion all my interactions have been positive. After two years of covid and relative isolation it was actually rather wonderful to have the team around for a week. They were thoughtful, tidy and left the house in a good state each evening. The windows themselves are fabulous quality and have made such a difference to the appearance of our house. I genuinely never normally leave reviews however based on how fantastic Timber Windows have been I felt it appropriate to leave feedback. From start to finish they have been amazing - easy to get hold of and a great product. The quality of workmanship of the window fitting was second to none - they cleaned everything away each day and made sure the windows were finished to the best possible standard - they thought of everything before I even had a chance to mention it. They went over and above on several occasions and I would genuinely recommend them to anyone looking for great quality windows (with fabulous guarantees) and flawless workmanship! Good job!!

4+ years ago we had a large window fitted by Timber Windows. They did the job so well we asked them to fit two new stable doors and another identical window to that fitted earlier. They didn't quite make the target fitting date due to late arrival of the products, but in these uncertain times, that was forgiven. However, when they did fit them all, this week, the quality of the products and the workmanship was brilliant. I have rarely seen such dedicated technicians work so diligently and with such precision. If we hadn't had the opportunity to watch them we would still have accepted the finished products as excellent but having watched how they worked and cared about every single detail to ensure that everything was perfect was a bonus. As a result, I have asked them to quote for 8 more windows. An exceptional company with very high-quality products. They may be expensive but they are worth every penny.

Timber Windows recently fitted to new sash windows and a wooden front door. From ordering to fitting they were very helpful. Timely arrival, no hassle, fitted door and window within timescales. Very tidy and cleared up all mess. Very happy with the work and product.

We chose this company to replace 5 of our windows following several visits to their showroom. There was no hard sell, nothing was too much trouble for the sales team, we were allowed to take our time and we couldn't be happier with the result. Cannot recommend highly enough.

My son had wooden double glazed windows fitted in his house in Winchester and strongly recommended this company as a result. We needed to replace both front and back doors of our old house and, following two pre-order visits to the showroom in Winchester, the door styles, colours and furniture were chosen, payment plan explained and timescale agreed. To fully appreciate the product quality I would strongly recommend an initial visit before ordering. All promises given have been fully met, and the service has been both friendly and very efficient. Two days were booked for fitting. The installation team of Tim, Lee and Josh arrived dead on time, explained exactly what they planned to do and set to with a will. Both doors and frames were quickly removed and the new doors fitted into the gaps with great precision. Once fully installed, secured and finished off they looked superb. They even re-fitted our special door knocker, and carefully handled the existing door bell and alarm wiring to allow subsequent reconnection. The job was completed by mid afternoon day 1, everything tidied away and carried out to our full satisfaction. Not the cheapest but excellent value for the high quality product we will now enjoy for years, all guaranteed and totally draft free. Bliss! I would strongly recommend this company if you’re looking for a top quality job.

As we live in an old house of historical interest we needed high quality wooden framed windows to replace the old ones which had secondary glazing. We had used this company before and were delighted with the quality of the work and the difference the new windows made. With this work five windows were changed and once again we were delighted with the windows and installation. It has brought more light into rooms and we shall be using them again. We had the same installers both times and their attention to detail was exemplary.

We chose timber windows for our new front door as the door quality looked to be far better than others we had looked at. The 1930’s style of front door is perfect for our house. The installation was carried out with great care and involved removing the existing architrave and lining before fitting the new door. The architrave and lining were carefully refitted and the new door installation finished with a great deal of attention. It’s nice to have a well made, solid door that looks great and has practically eliminated the draughts we had.

They installed an expensive front door. Arrived on time, put down dust sheets, explained what and how they would do the work, exactly as planned and expected. They removed salvageable components from the old door for us to keep. The product when installed was/is superb and we are delighted. Will be glad to recommend Timber Windows (and Doors) to anyone who plans to install new doors and windows.

From the initial visit to the showroom to the completion of the work - this has been a very pleasant and professional experience. The ordering of the door , the follow up contact and the fitting all went very smoothly. The fitters on the day were very pleasant,couteous and professional -well done.

We needed new wooden French doors to match our conservatory. The colour was important but we were provided with a swatch which seemed perfect. However, the doors didn’t match the swatch but apparently, nothing could be done. We then had a leak following installation and when Chris came out he drilled extra drainage holes. He agreed about the colour but we didn’t have any further communication. We would not recommend this company if colour is important to you.

We are delighted with our new doors and windows. There was no hard sell, just helpful and quick to respond to our enquiries. They came back to us several times to check our requirmenst and provided a detailed pricing breakdown so we could fully understand the options. They even cam back and reduced the price when they realised they had quoted for somethign we didn't need. The team arrived on time, were very polite and professional. The work was carried out to a very high standard and completed on time. The rooms were left clean and tidy.

We carefully evaluated a number of potential suppliers to replace all our windows. Feedback from local customers was very positive and several visits to their showroom confirmed our choice. Installation was carried out by Alan and Jack, who worked tirelessly throughout. They were very careful and precise in their work and a pleasure to have working on our house. At the end of every day they left the house immaculately clean and the detail of their work and the finish was immaculate. Of course they were not the cheapest but solid value for money. The company proved excellent in every respect - the showroom, visit by the surveyor, back office and of course installation. We would not hesitate to use them again and are delighted with the finished product.

Replacement of sash windows to a bay window in a late Victorian house. Replicated the style of the windows and mouldings. Quality of the materials was excellent. Excellent service from courteous and efficient staff from initial survey to final installation.

Having had a back door replaced 20 months ago we had no hesitation in asking Timber Windows back to replace our bay windows and French doors. Both the widows and doors were not standard so required a bespoke solution. They came out to confirm my measurements and requirements and when the units arrived they fitted with only minor adjustments. The fitting team were superb and their attention to detail resulted in a absolutely first class finish. We would have no hesitation in awarding them 5 stars and recommend them to others.

This company truly is something special. If only every window company was as honest,reliable,precise and caring . If anyone is looking for Timber Windows showroom , honestly this is the best in the south. We had two teams allocated for three days. On the fourth day one team was left to carry on and on the fifth day just one person put the finishing touches and to hand over the perfectly fitted windows and doors. The precision and attention to detail is incredible. Some people don’t think is great value for money. I totally disagree. You get exactly what you pay for and maybe more. At the start of the job we received a visit from the owner of the company - how special is that!! One of our newly supplied window ledges was slightly imperfect and as I was not 100% happy decision was made immediately to order a new one. If you want new stress free fitting of new windows don’t hesitate, this is the company for you. We are now in the process of ordering windows for the rest of our home. Thank you guys!
