Excellent showroom in Winchester. Impressed with quality / build of advertised front doors. Very pricey, but we needed a 'bespoke' front door for our old cottage. We liked the range of designs and particularly liked the mid-blue colour. Salesperson stated that it would be fitted to the highest standards. Following our order (and lengthy wait, as it is made in Europe) the door was fitted. At the end of fitting I noticed a couple of deep scratches above the letterbox (possibly from the belt buckle of the fitter). The fitter used some spray and a lot of rubbing to remove the scratches. As a consequence, he took off the paint above the letterbox. Not a good start! He then tried to touch it up with the pots of paint provided. He then suggested that I could rub this down, when dry! Given the cost of the door and the expected high quality, I was not expecting to have to paint the door myself! After further scrutiny I also noticed that the fitter had drilled a hole (for the door knocker) but the wood had split; he had used the touch-up paint to conceal the error. After reporting this to Timber Windows, they did sort out the issue immediately, with no quibble. A replacement door was ordered and fitted. We now have a lovely blue door with fantastic ironmongery (Samuel Heath designs). Would I recommend this trader? Given the high cost and quality of fitting, I would consider investigating other companies providing the same level of product before making the final decision.

Fitted a replacement front door and two casement windows to a Grade 2 listed building. The firm was very pleasant to deal with throughout from initial enquiry through to completion. Splendid looking high quality door and windows were manufactured and delivered on schedule. Immaculate installation by very competent and congenial staff.

Installation of two sets of replacement windows in a house from 1908. We wanted the new wooden framed windows to be identical with the old ones - a tall order! The results were brilliant! The new windows are totally in keeping with the character of the house. An added bonus was the professional and friendly service of Dave and Jack. No trace of debris after their work. We would highly recommend this company.

Windows - they are great quality. The workmen putting them in were very nice, polite, cleaned up after themselves, were. Brilliant office and ordering - again very good - just need to keep informing customers of up dates. We had no news once we handed over a large deposit - otherwise I can't fault them. I have no hesitation to recommend them on.
