Ashley George, the Timberwise rep arrived on time & was very professional during his survey. He was able to confirm the cause of the problem & discussed various measures we could take to remove the condensation without undergoing expensive & disruptive works. He was able to advise on what equipment we needed & how to manage issues such as humidity & air ventilation. All in all, we were very impressed with the service provided.

Steven Buick and team at Timberwise Scotland are fantastic! I contacted Timberwise and within 5days my property and wet rot problem was survey and fixed. Structural floor joists were affected by wet rot, which required to be sistered with new bespoke sized joists and treated. The work was carried out safely, tidily, and to a very high professional standard by Alan and Stuart. Shortly after I received my guarantee of 20years for the work carried out. We had a concern about damp in a basement flat hallway cupboard. A visit was arranged for a free survey to see if remedial work would be needed. Dan arrived a little early which was great and advised that there was no evidence of water penetration and that the issue was one of condensation caused by cold walls and lack of ventilation. It was really helpful to have our minds set at rest and we can deal with the situation without the fear that there may be a serious damp problem. The service was prompt and professional. After months of worrying about water under my newly bought property I decided to have a survey done by Timberwise to see how bad the situation was. The surveyor Carla Gonen was excellent. Carla was thorough, and after inspecting the property was able to confirm I did not need any work to be done, and everything was at it should be. Carla was professional and listened to my many concerns, and with her knowledge was able to explain her findings with photos and a report. My only regret was if I had used Timberwise when purchasing the property I would have saved myself a lot of time and worry. I recommend Timberwise, it is a trustworthy company and I'm so glad I found it.

Very impressed with our surveyor Carla Gonen; she was friendly, understanding of my concerns, extremely knowledgeable, professional and a lovely person who put us at ease , reassured and explained many things around my concerns. Living in a 300 year old farmhouse with lots of original timbers, we were very pleased and reassured that concerns were unfounded. Although no work is currently needed, should we ever have any concerns or problems with timber, pests, or damp, we would go straight to Timberwise. 100% recommend.

Jason arrived on time for day one to remove plaster and render on an internal wall then reapply fresh. He also installed an injectable damp proof course into the wall. He took care to cover gaps so dust didn't spread into other rooms. He was courteous and polite, explained what he was doing and respectful. The work was done well and I'm very happy with the outcome.

We were extremely pleased with the quality and standard of work carried out on our property. We chose Timberwise Glasgow to treat woodworm in our cellar. A survey was done by Jack, who was very knowledgeable and showed us photos of the damage and treatment needed. There was no sales pressure put on us at all. Sharon arranged everything and was very helpful. The treatment was done quickly and efficiently. There were no problems, and we found everyone extremely helpful and pleasant.

After having spent the last two years with a house occupied by workmen painting and plastering we had the unfortunate experience of finding penetrative damp damaging the newly plastered walls. The news was that we had to have the walls taken back to the brick once again, injected and re plastered not something we were keen to envisage. From meeting with the surveyor, arranging timescales with the office and then having the work carried out, there cannot be a more professional, energetic, polite, caring and clean team employed by any of their competitors in the UK. What we were dreading didn't come to fruition. The team were most amenable and a pleasure to have in our home leaving no mess, and ensuring that our fears were unfounded. We would use Timberwise again and have no problem recommending them to others. Fantastic team!

I contacted Timberwise back in March 2017, Craig came out, inspected the property and created a great report. It took until October before I was ready for work to begin, I contacted the team arranged a date and they were so helpful! I realised I may have had damp in another room - they happily obliged to check that room as well whilst carrying out the DPC on the original room. Phone calls at each stage to provide updates, Carl & Craig couldn't do enough to help. Highly recommend.

Moved into our new home last October with what seemed very little to do...June this year almost put my foot through the flooring in a bedroom. Carpet was lifted to find evidence of infestation. Searched the market and contacted Timberwise (UK) Ltd based on their existing customer reviews. A very educational phone all revealed what our bedroom was infested with and a suitable treatment progress was presented. A survey appointment was booked and on time the surveyor knocked on the door. He carefully explained what could be seen, what needed to be done and how long the whole process was to take. The surveyors knowledge was in depth and appeared to have great experience in infestations and the treatment required. Within a week and a half we received a quote which we were happy with, especially the guarantee, which I phoned up to find out the details of the guarantee (thinking it would be very limited) I was pleasantly surprised to hear that a full 20 years guarantee is applied to all treatment and work carried out. After accepting the quote and booking a 'treatment slot' we only had a few weeks to wait until the engineer knocked on our door at the time specified. Very friendly staff (surveyor and engineer) both new their job inside out and made my wife feel comfortable whilst they carried out the work. Great job done. Great service with a friendly nature. From my first phone call to Leslie in the office to Steve’s first visit and then work done by Stewart the service could not have been better. We were kept in the picture throughout with very clear explanations and we felt confident and supported during a potentially stressful experience. Although there was a delay before completion, because of a plaster shortage, the work was completed at the earliest opportunity. I would have no hesitation recommending Timberwise to others, indeed I have already done so.

From start to finish I have found all the Timberwise staff to be most helpful and efficient. They were always on time and I was most impressed with the way the technician, Ian Harding, carried out the woodworm treatment. He was pleasant and everywhere was left neat. The first contact is made to the work being completed was beyond my expectations. The office staff were also most helpful and the paperwork, which I received was very helpful. We have had some rising damp in the basement of our Victorian house. Timberwise was referred to us by an experienced Chartered Surveyor that we know, and we were really happy we followed his recommendation. Glasgow Timberwise, Ricky and Stuart successfully completed an excellent job in removing Wet Rot / replacing unsafe wooden flooring and reallocating the access ladder. The original ladder was difficult to climb and gain access to the floor above. Now repositioned and is safer to use with new hand rails. Many thanks for your professional work.

Tom conducted our roof survey today. Right from the start we had great confidence in a well-presented and professional expert. He explained the whole survey process at the start and then conducted a very thorough survey - fully considering our specific issues too.
