TJ Copping Roofing Ltd is a fifth-generation family business based in Stevenage Hertfordshire and formerly of Finchley in North London. The company is run by Tony Copping, having been founded in 1960 by Tony’s Grandfather George, and his father Fred.

My original builder (Wayne S) left my roof incomplete and his work was shabby. Luckily for me TJ Copping Roofers came and gave me a reasonable quote and were able to rectify all the errors and now my roof looks perfect. The team were polite, worked quickly and very efficiently. Overall, I am very satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend them, and if need be, I would 100% use them again. Thanks

Water leaking down soil pipe via roof. TJ Copping were recommended to me. They were able to sort out the problem at short notice. Very efficient, courteous and hard working men. I was shown before and after photos which gave me peace of mind. 10/10 would recommend.

We had Tony and his team back this time to repair the ridge and hip tiles on our roof, and they have done a lovely job as before. They were as polite, prompt, and professional as at the last visit. Two storey extension and front apexes . Guy who came round to inspect the job explained to me what would be done and broke down the cost of the materials and labour which I liked. The estimate cost of the work also matched the final invoice. I've never seen tradespeople work so hard. They were efficient, polite and clean and turned up when they said they would.

Tony completed several projects around our estate - all from welsh slate to torch on felt. Never had any problems at all from start to finish. Pricing, communication, all the away through good. Any extra or queries, I've been contacted promptly and has repriced if need be fairly. Him and his team have always been tidy and polite. Never had any complaints.

Roof Repair - replaced felt and battens plus a few tiles to 2 areas on our roof. Tony visited and quoted on the same day that I phoned him. His team completed the job 2 days later. This is the second time that we have used Tony and his team. Excellent all round experience from quote to the finished job. Excellent workmanship, polite workers, tidied up fully after completing the job.

We had some repointing done and a replacement of our valleys. Tony was very responsive to an initial request to come and have a look around, his quote was clear, giving me 2 options one a cheaper option one a fuller repair which I appreciated. He was responsive to my questions throughout. I contacted him to confirm the when the work was taking place and he came straight back to say that they had been a bit delayed and gave me a new date. Afterwards I asked when the scaffolding would come down, he offered me the chance to have it a bit longer if I wanted to do some work myself. My only small note would be that there were cigarette butts left on my driveway, which I don't imagine was Tony but may have been those working with him or the scaffolders.

A main downpipe from the roof was blocked by a dead squirrel which has slopped down the pipe and lodged against a rain diverter. Mr Copping's team cut the pipe in two places and inserted a new pipe and rain diverter. This distasteful job was done with professionalism and speed.
