The system was originally quoted as 36 panels. Other companies said this was not feasible on my roof, but TJS reassured me it would fit. Only 29 panels were eventually installed. Post-deposit communication was weak. Delivery was significantly delayed on the day and I had to assist with unloading. The MCS handover documentation was repeatedly inaccurate (incorrect system figures, phantom fourth string, incomplete Single Line Diagram missing the Gateway). These issues were only partially corrected after I raised them multiple times. Documentation was also withheld until final payment. Despite escalating the matter through MCS and the relevant consumer dispute process, the core problems with documentation accuracy and the gap between what was promised and what was delivered remain unresolved after many months. Prospective customers should request clear written confirmation of system size and carefully review the handover pack themselves.

Tony came out to complete the survey and answered all of our questions. TJS Solar were recommended via a neighbour whose friend had used them. We were happy to go with a recommendation and also supporting a local company was important to us. The workmen who came to complete the installation were great - really polite, informative and respectful. They worked neatly and cleanly and tidied up after themselves. The system was installed and Ryan checked it was functioning correctly, showed us the SIGEN app and answered any questions. We would recommend TJS Solar without hesitation. Our only frustration is with the Scaffolding Company who, despite us explaining we were going away on holiday and really needed it removed before, were very unhelpful and still have not taken it away. I would advise TJS Solar to consider this when engaging a scaffold company as it could unfairly reflect negatively on them.

The workman was very efficient and worked hard all day in considerable heat. He phoned for advice when he needed it. When he had finished, he talked us through using the app and answered our questions. We are very pleased with the neatness of his work. The price of the system is very competitive, and the firm is very supportive with a view to advice and future queries.

Interesting process vetting which listed suppliers before finally talking to TJS Principal on Engineer to Engineer level without sales speak. System size agreed and approved and start date given but delayed to to problem out of their control at first, Roof work installation of panels was done on schedule but final commissioning delayed due to overrun on bigger installation elsewhere. All work done to very good standard and waste material cleared. System working well.

I selected TJS Solar as they are Which recommended. Absolutely no regrets. Excellent to deal with from start to finish and excellent after sales service too. We got quotes from a couple of national installers, but were most impressed by Tony on TJS Solars offering. We opted for a Sigenstor and solar solution. Kept informed of DNO progress by Dan and booked in the job soon after approval. The team on the job were great and easy to get along with. Very pleased with the finished job. Since install Tony has offered help to quickly resolve a system issue. Highly recommend.

TJS have installed my solar and battery system which I am very happy with. Their surveyor Garry was brilliant in answering all my questions and being very flexible in addressing my needs. Tony who oversaw the installation is also great. The installation process wasn't smooth, as to be expected, however what makes TJS Solar outstanding is how proactive Tony and the team were in promptly addressing any issues or challenges that I brought to their attention. Their pricing is very competitive, and as they are a growing company and therefore customer gets personalised approach (I hope this continues as they continue to grow). So overall I would use them again and would recommend them to whoever is looking for solar installation.

Just had Solar system installed by TJS. Great service from Tony from first point of contact on our survey where he actually listened to our needs and customised a system to fit. He always made sure he kept in contact with us and kept us well informed through and after the installation. Can't fault the various teams either (scaffolders, roofers, sparkies), always made sure they respected the property and done all work swiftly with minimum disruption. All in all a great experience and every chance we will have we will 100% recommend TJS Solar. Thank you Tony & team!

TJS came and conducted a survey of our home and recommended a suitable solar and battery solution. After comparing with others we selected TJS to complete this install. We had panels on both sides of the roof and a battery inside the garage. There were a couple of snags on install which were all managed quickly resulting in a great look for the panels and a very efficient installation.

Fitted solar panels with the inverter and battery. I do feel as though the product was missold to me. On the quotation and prior to the job starting, the company said that the panels would be running at 7 kilowatts to the grid but when the job was completed, they then told me it would only be running at 4 kilowatts. I didn't escalate this at the time as I'm not an expert in solar panels and it felt like a battle not worth going into. 6 months on I'm also still paying a full electric bill. I've reached out to one of the project managers from TJS and I've not heard anything back. Octopus Energy have tried to resolve it aswell to no prevail. Ultimately, they weren't quite what I was expected.

We had 14 solar panels and a battery installed by TJS. They were so good. Friendly knowledgeable and very professional. The sale was smooth and I felt very well informed. The installation was also very well managed and I was fully informed at every stage. Having a project manager on site each day took away any hassle I may have had.

We had battery storage added to an existing solar installation, along with the roof checking (work carried out by previous contractor) and the insitu solar panels installation checked. TJS Solar were very professional, friendly and efficient. The scaffolding was erected at the beginning of the job and removed quickly afterwards - hence reducing the impact to ourselves and our neighbours. They quickly identified issues created by a previous contactor, explained the problems and after an inclusive discussion, quickly proposed a solution which was implemented that day. The battery install was seamless and the install commissioned on the same day. Overall a very professional service - I would highly recommend this compnay.
