About
Hello and welcome to Tolleys Gas. We are a family-run business with 48 years combined British Gas experience and 11 years independent experience. Our Company includes father, daughter and son.
George Tolley started with British Gas straight from school as an apprentice and has built up a good reputation with all his customers over 42 years. As an engineer, he was always valued and trusted by his customers and colleagues and was often asked for by name.
Sarah Tolley followed in her father's footsteps and started with British Gas as an apprentice in 2007 and was fully qualified 12 months later, gaining 6 years experience in gas appliance service and repair and being one of the first female engineers in the area.
In 2013 we joined together to create Tolleys Gas Limited, providing a friendly and professional service using the experience and expertise gained at British Gas.
In 2014 Antony Tolley joined the business. Antony is now a vital member of the team.

I have used Tolleys for 10 years (installed new boiler, annual service and related issues) and have always had excellent service. They are most reliable and thorough in everything they do and have always been there for me in an emergency. Very friendly and professional family business. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We have been using Tolleys Gas since 2014 when they replaced our boiler in January when the old one broke down. Since it was a combi boiler we had no hot water or heat and it was cold. They came to our rescue then as none of the other local companies could help and they had not long been in business. We were so fortunate to have found them. They were so knowledgeable, professional efficient friendly clean and tidy. A quality installation. They have serviced the boiler ever since and when we had a problem their response was timely. In March 2024 we had another problem but not with gas but our plumbing. Could we find a plumber? No!! After weeks of a leaking radiator valve, dripping tap and a less that 100% shower Tolleys came to the rescue again!! In the 10 years we have been using Tolleys Gas their standards and service have not changed. 5* to them.

Tolleys fitted a replacement gas hob the next day for me. No fuss, no mess and they took away my old hob free of charge. They also completed a full gas safety check on the boiler and the hob for my tenant. As a team, they are always helpful, corteous and ready to answer any questions- they are also reasonable in price and will always pop back if there are any issues or advice is needed. Torally trustworthy and professional. Thank you again George, Sarah and Anthony. 👍😃

My son originally organised a boiler service for me with Tolleys as they had been highly recommended to him. I have since then had a new boiler fitted which was very stress free. All the family are very easy to work with, what would perhaps be called ‘old school’ as they are very conscientious & get the job done. Always polite & very tidy & always clean up so well when they have finished. Both Sarah & George have come back to me after a text when I’ve forgotten the timer instructions. I trust them completely & would whole heartedly recommend them. The recent boiler service was booked, they arrived on time, got the work & paperwork done & checked that I was still ok with the timer instructions 😊

Replacing a boiler, and the cost that goes with it, isn't something any of us want to do, particularly when the old one is sort of working. I have to say though that it was cheaper than I thought, and the Tolleys were a pleasure to work with and have in the house. So pleased with the standard of work (lots of new pipework needed and it was immaculate) and I didn't begrudge them a penny

We had a new boiler installed and from the initial visit to provide a quotation and having the work completed we were very pleased. Very friendly team who carried out the work in a timely efficient manner and no mess to clear up afterwards. Sarah & Anthony fitted a new gas fire for us and explained our options in a very clear, polite and professional manner.
