This is the third time I have used this company to trim, cut back and remove trees. They are a small family business who are efficient, reliable and very nice people. Waste removal is included in the job leaving garden nice and tidy. Highly recommend if you live in the Kent area.

Tommy has been looking after my large garden for some years. This involves regular maintenance and a once-a-year significant tree surgery on 35 mature trees. He has also built 5 sections of fencing and made a raised vegetable patch. In the last visit he trimmed various trees and shrubs, removed weeds, mowed and edged the lawn and generally made the garden look very presentable for a fundraising event for the small homeless charity my wife runs. As usual, all was done efficiently and to a high standard. Tommy and his team are very amicable and professional and take great pride in their work. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Tommy and his team.

Tommy and his team spent a week carrying out numerous tasks including: Reducing the height of 32 tall conifers by about third, removing an old large Lilac tree, trimming several other trees and pruning two fruit trees. Clearing an area to be used for a raised bed and growing wild flowers. Building a 3 sectioned raised bed using high quality sleepers, filling with quality compost and making a small stoned path for easy access. Supplying and fitting of 3 sections of featheredge fencing. Repotting numerous pot plant into large pots. Transplanting 2 small trees from the garden into pots. Transplanting 2 potted tree from pots into the garden I have been using Tommy and his team for many years and they have always been very professional, extremely pleasant, helpful, hardworking and punctual. They carried all the work on schedule, on budget and to a very high standard. Over the last 25 years I have used many tree surgeons and gardeners and Tommy is by far the best; he really does takes pride in what he does. I have absolutely no reservations in thoroughly recommending Tommy and his team.

Tommy has done a few jobs for me now, this time I had him back to replace a full fence with all new panels, concrete posts and gravel boards. The job was all done and tidied up in just a few hours. He always replies to any messages quickly and keeps in touch with any updates or questions and always arrives on time. I've just asked him to quote for some more work in my back garden, would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for any sort of garden or external work.

Very impressed by the work done by Tommy & Dan in pruning Magnolia tree to shape, cutting specified lateral branches of 100 year old Cedar tree & pruning back to shape, reducing Hawthorne tree and cutting dead branch from conifer tree. They also cleared the site perfectly as well as leaving some wood for my log burner. I will use them again.

From the quote to completion, communication was excellent. Punctual, polite and thorough. He made an excellent job of trimming a conifer hedge. All waste was removed. Very pleased with the result. Would recommend.

It was a hot day, there were unexpected problems with concealed concrete that had to be removed. The team dealt with it all with efficiency, courtesy and good humour. The site was left clean and tidy with all fencing waste removed. I have used Mr. Clark's company previously for tree maintenance and am happy to recommend it.

We found Tommy and his team to be friendly, efficient and flexible. They finished the job more quickly than expected and also provided excellent after care advice. Also provided advice on types of plants to buy, products to use and advised on a supplier for a robotic lawnmower. We had trees trimmed, all existing vegetation removed (one rose being re-planted), beds dug over and with sheeting put down with a bark layer over and the lawn completely dug up and re-turfed. We are now waiting for a quote for phase 2 as we were so happy with the first phase and this will include further tree removal, and the paying of decking in two separate areas in the garden.

The work was completed quickly and efficiently as planned, despite some horrendous weather and evil thorns, leaving me with a fence that is fit for purpose (unlike its predecessor!). However, I was most struck by the efficiency of all aspects of the company. The initial communication by email was on a Sunday evening, when I was not expecting an answer until Monday. Before long, we had arranged the visit to give an estimate. That was sent promptly and dates agreed for the work. Before the day, an email was sent to check everything was okay, with an approximate arrival time. The standard of work is very good, but the best and most refreshing part is the very professional attitude. I have more work booked in and feel confident that it will be completed as well as this job has. Thank you.

Tommy reduced the height of two tall trees by 50%, replaced a fence and shed over a 3 day period. The work was completed as planned, all the replaced items were removed and the garden was left in a tidy state. I am very pleased with the results and would definitely use him again.

We had a large tree that was far too close to our house (we live in a conservation area). After several tree surgeons said "no way", Tommy was more than prepared to go into bat with the council and, after much back and forth with the council, we were able to proceed with works to fell the tree. Tommy and his team made light work of removing a couple of conifers from my garden which had been there for ages. He also helped source and plant in the hydrangeas to replace the conifers. Tommy and his team have been looking after my mother's garden for over a year now making regular maintenance visits throughout the year. The garden looks like a park. It's beautiful and my mother loves it. We hired Tommy to remove a sycamore in our garden that was as tall as our house and rotting. Tommy and his team had it gone by 4pm the same day, including carrying all the waste out through our house – a small terraced house with no side access. Contacted Tommy early January as needed our garden dog-proofing . Tommy visited within 48 hours and provided a quote that same day. We agreed for the work to be completed 24th and 25th February. Work was to erect a new fence which required the removal a number of small trees and shrubs so the fence could be erected. The first time we have used this company. Tommy and his team arrived on a really wet day to do various tree works for the Parish Council. Some just removing dead and dangerous branches on very ancient enormous trees and one was completely removing a troublesome tree. They did a really good job, extremely efficient and cleaned up well afterwards. Excellent team and we will definitely be using them again.

Tommy has just removed a 60 ft conifer to ground level in a very tight location above a green house. I was extremely impressed by his high profession standards. The team of four were very affable, considerate, and really hard working. Job completed to budget and faultless in execution. They went beyond my expectation in clearing the site. You may find a cheaper quote, but I doubt if Tommy will beaten on quality.

Tommy has been looking after my garden for some time and, amongst other work, has carried our significant tree surgery for my 30 or so large Leylandii. All his garden work has been excellent. Today, he replaced a large section of featheredge fencing for me. Once again he carried out the work as scheduled and on budget. He advised me what he could do but ended up saying that I may need to get a tree surveyor to look at my tree. He recommended a surveyor that he knew. Tommy & His crew have carried out three huge jobs for us in the past few months, firstly cutting back and clearing a very overgrown garden, Secondly clearing the end of our garden from huge Tree stumps to lots of wood, weeds and debris and laying faux grass and putting up new fencing, thirdly putting in a verander, (which was bespoke and designed by them) steps, handrails and painting the front of the house. Tommy removed a large rather deformed Eucalyptus tree and 2 smaller Sycamores from our back garden. He also trimmed our Magnolia and Pear trees and removed some Ash saplings as well. Tommy was a pleasure to deal with and he and his friendly colleague completed the work with great efficiency. Everything was removed and the garden left clean of tree debris. The way he handled the big tree seemed almost like magic. We were delighted with the job and the level of service and have asked for quotes for replacing the lawn and a fence in our 105ft garden.

Tommy and his team have worked for us for over a year. Their work ethic and achievement is first class. Our property, which is a demanding mix of grass, woodland, lakeland, paddock and flower beds keeps them very busy all year round. It's never looked so good!

Quite pricey but good work when he did arrive. A pleasant young chap but problem is he arranges to come then does not show and leaves you to keep ringing and texting him until he finally answers with an excuse ranging from vehicle broke down to tip busy. He appears to source very large gardens and estates to maintain and once gotten, the average garden he did commit to is dropped, with no explanation or apology. Why he just does not say outright he can't come anymore instead of re-arranging is quite bizarre. On the 6th time he did not show I gave up on him to find someone reliable.

Finding a trader to carry out the variety of work we needed proved difficult. We wanted a tree surgeon, a fencer, general garden maintenance plus someone to relay an aged patio. We set a budget of £5000 for the work and Tommy and his colleagues took on our challenge by providing the best quote comfortably within our budget. Tommy and his colleagues were very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and resourceful, completing the work to a high standard. Circumstances dictated that we needed flexibility in order to complete the work and I found Tommy to be very accommodating under difficult circumstances. As a consequence of the service Tommy has provided, our garden has been transformed. We have further projects for Tommy and his team for later in the year and would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone else. As Tommy is very busy, you may have to wait until he has an available slot but that, in itself, reflects the high quality of service he provides.

I wanted some TLC for overgrown areas of my garden. Tommy came round, gave professional advice and produced a written, professional quote - no one else did. I went with him because of his competitive price but more for his all round professionalism. Nothing cowboy here. The work was undertaken alongside his two assistants and all were respectful and tidy. We've all used cowboyish garden services before and this was nothing like those. I've already penciled him in for some autumn work - no point looking anywhere else!

I have had so many bad experiences with tradesmen in the past. Mainly due to dishonesty, overcharging, not getting back to me when they say they will and if by a small chance they do their work turns out to be poor as they have no conscience and couldn't care less. So when I needed new fencing and some other (special) work in my garden I dreaded having to start looking for someone to do it. He was quick to come and assess my work, swiftly & professionally sent a quote, discussed in details and gave constant explanations of what he and his team were going to do and how long it would take. If there was a problem he discussed it with me and offered a solution. At my request he even delivered my fence panels for me to creosote/paint two weeks before they started work. Tommy and his team were so hardworking, professional, honest and obviously take pride in their work which is a first for me! Communications were exceptional. They reduced the size of some conifers, pruned into shape a holly tree and cut down overhanging branches of a dead hawthorn. They then removed all the waste that was cut down. I was extremely pleased with the job they did and will be using them again to reduce the height of other larger conifers. I definitely recommend them.

I have been using various Tree Surgeons since moving to this house, which has a huge garden, in 1987. Tommy Clark was recommended to my and we used him for the first time in October 2015 - how I wish we had found him earlier. Tommy & his team are the best - so polite and honest and really genuine people. I won't go anywhere else in future. Tommy tackled an overgrown Holly hedge which most Tree surgeons shied away from. It is approx 80ft long x 12ft wide and 18-20ft high. Our poor neighbours were so relieved when it was eventually tamed by Tommy Clark. We have mature Ash trees and Conifers which need regular pollarding and will be getting Tommy back to do them. I have no hesitation in recommending Tommy Clarks Tree Surgery.

Had numerous amount of leaflets through my door but i was worried who to trust. I did my research and im over the moon i found Tommy and his team. They reduced the height of my conifer hedge and removed an unwanted willow tree and they were very friendly, reasonably priced and most of all did an excellent job.
