I rarely leave reviews of any sort but I feel it is justified on this occasion. I have been a customer of Tony Simpson for a number of years and can honestly say that the standard of workmanship is outstanding at a reasonable price in terms of labour costs. We have three cars in the family all maintained by Tony and at times he has made us aware of work that was unnecessary - saving us money and has completed work at nil cost to rectify small problems. I continue to recommend Tony when asked for a trusted Garage or Mechanic in the Darlington area. First class.

I was recommended by my usual garage to Tony as they could not fit me in for the original job required. In between getting the recommendation and booking an appointment my cars clutch cable snapped and needed further work. I spoke to the garage who reassured me that they could look at the car, booked in quickly and kept informed throughout when additional work was found. The car was completed in a fast time and I felt like the team were all friendly and very helpful. Nice touch with the air freshener on completion too. The car is driving like a dream now. Would recommended this garage to anyone. Thank you 😊

Excellent Service as always, I had a squeal on cold start up on the Auxiliary Belt on my vehicle,which went off once the vehicle warmed up. It turned out to be the tensioner. So It was replaced along with the belt which was requested by myself. They also did a service on my vehicle, with specific Items, Oil + all filters replaced as requested yet again. They also checked my vehicle throughout and showed advisories which will need seeing to In the future, but all ok for now. Very reliable and professional service and good on price also.

Tony sorted a problem out that another mechanic had caused. He didn’t have time to do the work but squeezed it in around other work. I’m self employed and was pretty much lost without my vehicle. He kept me up to date from start to finish with picture’s and explanations of all the work that was carried out. Exceptional work from start to finish. Would recommend Tony to anyone wanting a top class job done and will definitely be using him again

I have used this company for a few years now. I find them to be extremely efficient and they provide good quality work at a fair price. During the Covid pandemic I didn't use my car very much which has created problems with the brakes. The guys at Tony Simpson were very helpful explaining what the problem was and although they advised I had the work done before I started using the car regularly, they weren't pushing me into getting it done immediately. I also needed a new roll link which they fitted for me. Having had bad experiences with other companies, I find that I can completely trust this company. They keep me informed of any issues, they provide a quotation for all work and have gone above and beyond to ensure my car runs safely.

My car developed a problem and the warning light came on and it went into limp mode. When I booked it in to the garage they phoned and told me the EGR valve was faulty and needed replacing. This was all on the same day so I got it back all fixed. Very happy.
