Total Home Solutions (THS) are part of the Smith and Byford group and specialise in delivering Gas, Electrical and Plumbing services to local private Homeowners and Landlords. Our THS team operate from our showroom, located in Cheam Village, which was first opened in 2012.

Right from the beginning everyone was very kind and helpful. It took 2 days to do the cleaning process and installation and I was kept informed of progress all the time. Also most things (eg hot water) continued to work during the installation. I have been delighted by the result of your work and thank everyone involved.

I have been a customer for many years and cannot praise this company enough. Emma, Del, Andy , Dee, Jason and all have become the 3rd emergency service for us! This time we desperately needed help to replace our daughter’s boiler asap, due to imminent house move, even though she was not a customer, they did the job within four days, with special thanks to Del for getting the hot water to work for those few days. Honestly can’t thank them enough for their understanding and help, would recommend them to anybody.

I made a random telephone call to Smith and Byford when we needed a new boiler, having seen their vans in our area. I spoke to Dee and from my initial enquiry there was no going back; she was so helpful and reassuring, as was Emma who organized our installation. The surveyor, Derek, and the engineers, Andy and Bryn, who carried out the work on our boiler replacement and heating overhaul were all extremely professional, so nice to have in the house and produced a result with which we could not be more happy. From a random call we have found a company with whom we hope to have an on-going working/service relationship; they are excellent.

After having had work done by Total home Solutions in replacing my house boiler, I had to use them again to replace my other boiler especially after they did such a great job with the previous installation. They replaced my second boiler and again they were very professional and efficient and were very tidy. I would highly recommend them.

Installation of a new boiler
We have used Smith and Byford for a number of years and the whole experience has been exceptional with this company. The admin staff Emma, Dee and the others are responsive understand the problems and are quick to sort resolutions. We had a problem with our existing boiler, the engineer Will was quick to diagnose. He had the patience to try everything before finally diagnosing the need for a new boiler. Smith and Byford were extremely quick to supply and fit a new boiler, their teams contacted us to ensure everything was working as expected, Andy and Brin two very competent engineers, polite and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this company, it’s like going back to old values in that they value you as customers and go out of their way to provide an overall excellent service.

After a few years years of annual boiler checks I asked Smith and Byford to install my new boiler. It all took place with minimum disruption and I am very pleased with it. It should save me money with a more efficient boiler and some adjustments to positioning will help with future checks. Everybody is friendly.

New boiler
I have had a contract with Smith and Byford for many years and always been happy with the service. When it came to needing to replace my boiler I didn’t even consider going with anyone else. They provided an excellent service from the moment the surveyor came to my home to ensure I was getting the correct product right through to the installation and QC on completion. I would not hesitate to recommend Smith and Byford.

I have been a customer of Total Home Solutions for a number of years now and have always been impressed with the professionalism of both their Administration Team and Engineers. Today Jason replaced a bathroom radiator. He called ahead to announce his arrival and arrived within the agreed timeslot. He carried out the replacement efficiently and diligently, taking care of the surrounding fixtures and completing the job perfectly. The invoice is as agreed. I am very happy to recommend Total Home Solutions for all your, heating, plumbing and electrical requirements.

I had an old floor standing boiler replaced with a new wall mounted boiler in a new location. The engineers were very good and the work they did was excellent. I’m going to use them for servicing and would definitely recommend them.
