Tower Heating established in 1990, is a family-run, central heating and gas company operating in Formby and it's surrounding areas.

Our emergency line is open from 8am - 8pm, 365 days a year, making us the largest and most reliable, independant heating company in the region.

We pride ourselves on being second-to-none when it comes to our knowledge, workmanship, cleanliness and the friendliness of our team.

We aim to go beyond simply satisfying our customers and are proud of the relationships we have built over the years. As can be seen from our reviews, many of our customers welcome our team back into their homes with open arms.

We are a Worcester Bosch Accredited Partner. This means that we are now able to offer up to TWELVE years guarantee on boilers that we install.

We have an FCA Licence so are able to offer the following Novuna finance options for new boiler purchases:

We have just moved in to a 1930s house and a lot of work was required with respect to the heating. New radiators throughout the house along with a new boiler and repiping of the entire downstairs was required to get the house warm for winter. We are extremely grateful to Tower Heating for enabling this to happen and to such a high standard with excellent customer relation skills. The entire team was extremely punctual, professional, knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. I myself know nothing about plumbing and so it was great to meet the Tower Heating team who were extremely patient in explaining the various options to me without trying to force a sale - I genuinely felt that they were keen to provide me with the best heating/plumbing solution for our particular needs and that they were responsive approachable whenever any questions came up. I would particularly like to mention Greg who coordinated our jobs as well as Callum, Gordon, Will and Tom who were on site fitting the boiler, radiators and pipes and were fantastic tradespeople.

Tower Heating are a local firm and we were mid-lockdown. I'd heard from others that their service was Covid- compliant. Their assessment of what we needed was done professionally and very safely. The work was done with minimum fuss and disruption, checked by the boss once completed, and has worked immaculately since its installation. Excellent.

We had our boiler and radiators replaced by Tower Heating. From providing a survey and quotation (Greg), to installation and testing (Chaise and Kieran) they were 1st class in all respects. The resulting new boiler and radiators are working highly effectively, the work was completed on time with little or no mess, with the finish to a very high standard at the price quoted. We would highly recommend Tower Heating if you’re looking to install or replace your central heating system.

Tower Heating came out to us on 22/12. (We were fed up waiting for British Gas.) They diagnosed to problem and returned at 8.15am in 28/12 - the first available opportunity - to repair our 17 year old boiler. Greg, the Director came out as agreed to quote for a new boiler on 24/1/23. We received a detailed quote on 27/1/23 and were offered a start date of 7/2/23, finishing on 8/2/23. The engineers Tom and Ben were punctual, courteous, efficient and professional. They worked hard and left the house as they found it. They explained what they had done and why. The new boiler was functional at the end of 7/2, and 8/2/23 was mainly a power flush to clean our system, which had not been cleaned for at least 10 years. I was instructed how to use Google Nest and Home. We were pleased to use Tower Heating as they were thoroughly courteous, efficient and professional at every stage of the process. We weren’t asked to pay a penny until the job was complete. We’re delighted with their work - it was a pleasure to deal with them. They deserve every success.

Had an out-the-blue late night failure of our hot water and central heating system in the depths of winter. Rang Tower heating at 8.45am the next day and had the call immediately answered, with them pulling out all the stops to have Greg come conduct a survey and estimate on his way home from his usual workload that evening. Within a day, the new boiler was sourced and at every stage Tower Heating were able to exceed their promises with them juggling their schedules to get our heating and hot water up and running as fast as possible. Gordon and Tom B kept us up-to-date with their arrival and plans, showed up exactly when promised and had our system working a day earlier than expected. They explained everything they were doing to the house, worked quietly and were diligent with COVID practices and also managed to troubleshoot and solve other issues we had with our water and heating, that they fixed with no extra charge, one of which brought us great relief to finally have a working stopcock in the house! Gordon and Kieran came the day after they got us up and running to perform some finishing touches and set up our smart system, and their work was spot on and handled in a manner that exuded pride in what they were doing. At all times we felt confident and secure that we had some professionals doing things right. A big thank you, your help was much appreciated!

Two engineers (Dan and Tom) from Tower Heating did a great job fitting my boiler. They came on time, worked hard and efficiently and cleaned up after they went. They showed me how to use my boiler and made sure I was happy before they left. Tower Heating as a whole have been a straight forward and helpful company to deal with. I can recommend.

Never so glad to see these guys. 5 days of no heat or hot water. Explained I'm disabled and pensioner and visit arranged quickly to suit me. Arrived early, soon diagnosed problem. They were very friendly, efficient and quick. Boiler fixed and serviced in no time, now I'm warm. Great job Keith and Harvey. Will definitely use Tower again, I was surprised how reasonably priced. We recently had a new Worcester boiler fitted by Tower Heating at a very competitive price. Leanne on reception was very friendly and helpful. Steve who carried out the survey was professional and knowledgeable. Ben our engineer was absolutely brilliant as he was very personable, polite professional and patient carefully explaining the process of fitting the boiler and how to operate it. He arrived on time and left no mess when the work was completed. He is a credit to the company.

From the initial meeting with Greg, to get an estimate, to the full installation of my new boiler by Ben, the service from Tower Heating has been excellent. These people are professional and customer centric. First of all they go the extra mile to make sure you are getting what you need, that the price is fair, and if - heaven forbid - something did go wrong, then they are there to sort it out. You couldn’t really ask for more. I wouldn’t think twice about recommending them to family and friends.

We required a new hole in the wall gas fire fitting, plus removal of the old gas fire. From the initial enquiry, it was very quick for an engineer to visit, review, and have an estimate sent over. From confirming the appointment, I was kept updated by text and email. The gas fitters arrived on time, with a text when they were en route. The fire was fitted successfully, the fitters were very polite,friendly and efficient, and left no debris. I would highly recommend them.
