Tower Heating established in 1990, is a family-run, central heating and gas company operating in Formby and it's surrounding areas.
Our emergency line is open from 8am - 8pm, 365 days a year, making us the largest and most reliable, independant heating company in the region.
We pride ourselves on being second-to-none when it comes to our knowledge, workmanship, cleanliness and the friendliness of our team.
We aim to go beyond simply satisfying our customers and are proud of the relationships we have built over the years. As can be seen from our reviews, many of our customers welcome our team back into their homes with open arms.
We are a Worcester Bosch Accredited Partner. This means that we are now able to offer up to TWELVE years guarantee on boilers that we install.

The heating engineer allocated to the job worked diligently from start to finish, ably assisted by an enthusiastic senior apprentice. Throughout the six days of work I was kept fully informed about progress being made and consulted whenever a decision needed to be made, for example, the exact positions of additional radiators. I'm also a tradesman and was fully appreciative of skill and expertise on show, and the pride in the job - including treating our home with utmost respect. This was an extensive and challenging domestic project requiring very significant investment. I consider what we received to be good value for money and I'm glad we chose such a reputable company with a highly impressive track record.

We had a new central heating boiler installed. Greg did the preliminary visit to assess the work. All aspects of the visit were professional, from prompt arrival through to follow up with clear breakdown of prices. The engineers were hard working & especially cheerful. Gordon had great expertise and took a pride in his work. Even the trickiest aspects of fathoming out some previous awful pipework, didn't faze him. He worked efficiently with George H & Tom B and together they were a great team. Always happy & approachable.

Tower heating installed & replaced a new boiler & several radiators over a week in August. They worked 8.30 - 5 every day, they worked hard and efficiently, they were friendly, polite and made us feel that our job was important to them. Would highly recommend this company. I was dreading the installation of my new boiler but need not have worried due to the wonderful work by James and Chaise. They carried out the work with minimal disruption to the household, every step was explained to me. When they left, apart from the new boiler, there was no evidence of the having been there - everything was put back in place and all debris removed. They are a credit to Tower Heating. Installation of my new boiler was carried out by Tom and Chris in a friendly and professional manner. There was little mess or disturbance and Chris carefully explained what he was doing and why. Tower Heating attended promptly and when they said they would. Greg, Chris, George and Keith were all very polite, professional and knowledgeable. Greg initially explained our options at length and provided us with quotes for placing our new boiler in 2 different places. During the actual work, they discussed options re the siting of pipework and filters etc with us rather than just go ahead themselves. Chris’s new pipework in our garage was extremely neat and tidy and they managed to get replacement house bricks nearly identical to ours to make good where the old flue had been. Chris’s bricklaying skills were superlative and it is now difficult to see where the new patch is. George worked tirelessly in our very hot loft (during a heatwave) and Keith discussed options re the siting of our new stat/controller with us and fully informed me which of the old electrical controllers were disconnected and safe to remove when we decorate. They took all the waste away and cleaned up after themselves regularly, even refusing to let me help by brushing the side passage myself. All in all, we were very impressed by the service provided by Tower Heating. It was probably the most pleasant instance of having workmen in our house that we have ever experienced and we would not hesitate to recommend them to others or use them again ourselves.

Team Gordon & Tom did a great job fitting our new Worcester 28 CDI compact combination boiler. It was far from easy but they sorted problems and were very professional, hard workers and extremely helpful. Tower Heating are always reliable and are first choice.
