Trustguard Ltd t/a Trustguard Damp Proofing

I initially contacted Trustguard to quote for wall tie replacement work. I was immediately impressed by Don's clear and honest approach, thorough assessment of the property, and obvious very extensive knowledge and experience. He was the fifth person I had received a quote from for this job - I had been overpriced, underpriced, and ghosted by this point! I wish I had saved my time and gone to Trustguard in the first instance. Based on his very fair quote for my wall ties, I also asked for a quote on installing a new damp proof system and works to damp wooden flooring. He came in at £3000 under what I had been quoted for exactly the same work by another local firm, which was amazing. John turned up every day by 9am to carry out the work, and was very polite and respectful in my home, and cleared up behind himself every night. Don was also on site for at least part of every day, and was incredibly patient with my many many questions and requests for advice and support. The whole job was completed to a high standard within 7 working days (I've since had a plasterer in to quote who has also commented on what a neat and thorough job Trustguard did.) I honestly can't recommend this firm highly enough, it has really felt like a lottery finding someone to do this work properly and for the right price, and I'm so relieved it's finally been completed by a company I trust.

I contacted Don via the TrustGuard website. He visited within a couple of days and surveyed the work. I was impressed by his professionalism and communication skills. He was also aware of the problems caused by a failed wall tie survey. He gave sound advice regarding the documentation needed to satisfy mortgage lenders after the job is complete. The work was finished within the agreed time frame to a high standard. Don was thorough and careful to install all areas of the walls that needed replacement ties He kept me informed of the progress throughout the job. The site was left clean and tidy. All supporting paperwork was sent on payment.

I needed the woodworm treated at my newly acquired bungalow and called Trustguard Ltd. Don responded almost immediately and came out to inspect very quickly. The treatment was carried out very quickly, with no mess at all being left, which was fantastic. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them in all respects.

Don came to do the quote within a few days and talked me through everything. The quote was lower than I expected and very reasonable. Work started a week later and was all done and dusted in 3 days, and they left the place tidier than it was when they arrived. The neighbours even commented how polite they were and were impressed with the work they'd done. I've had bad experiences with builders in the past but will definitely use Trustguard again, they've been brilliant and I can't fault them.

They explained exactly what would happen when they arrived, kept me informed throughout the process and cleaned up after. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs any damp proofing doing.

I found the whole process with Trustguard to be refreshingly straightforward, transparent and professional. Stacey was quick to answer my query and schedule an appointment with Don to come out and inspect the issue - which was a widening crack in the stone lintel of a tenanted property. A quote was quickly sent and agreed and the work scheduled in shortly thereafter. Don stitched the lintel using reinforced bars and installed heli-bar stitching in the brick course above - job looks good upon completion. Don was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They turned up on the agreed date and completed the work to a good standard before sending an invoice - no funds were requested in advance. A very good experience and I recommend the company whole-heartedly.
