Don has recently completed a full damp course for us,and a plaster skim of Staircase,hall and landing.Excellent 5* service from survey to completion of the work. He was also able to fit the work in with my schedule. All work was completed on time and to a very high standard. Don resolved long standing damp problems in kitchen, sitting room and dining room. Kitchen was particularly bad and other traders had failed to resolve the problem over a number of years. From initial contact to get an estimate through to post job snagging everything was done promptly and efficiently and disruption kept to a minimum. Also everything was explained very clearly. I am really pleased with the work and have no hesitation in recommending to others.

We required wall ties on our end terraced property and had various promises of quotes from other companies who either didn't turn up or just did a drive by with a follow up phone call. Don was prompt professional and honest and the lads on the job were polite and hardworking and stayed on the job until it was done , would use this company again!

Don recently did a DPC for a chimney breast in a house I rent to professionals. He agreed to do it between Christmas and New Year, which suited the tenants as they were away. He did the job exactly as planned and very professionally. Don has also done two house refubs for me, so it was no surprise that he did this small job well. My only hesitation in recommending him is that I don't want him to be so busy that he can't do the next job for me!!

I would not hesitate to recommend TrustGuard! TrustGuard recently carried out and inspection and some damp proofing at my two bed ground floor flat. I asked for someone to come out urgently and on a certain day. Don was able to come out at this time and did a very thorough inspection of my whole flat, using the latest technology and taking the time to explain all aspects of the problem to me and the options for repair. Don did not recommend any unnecessary work, and in fact tried to talk me into trying a few "self help" remedies in respect of condensation before going to the expense of installing a PIV unit. I took on board Don's advice and decided to deal with some penetrating damp first and review the condensation problem over time. Don was then to complete the job within a week of coming to the property to give me a quote, at a time and day suitable for me. His time estimate (that the job would take only one day) was accurate. TrustGuard charged a reasonable price comparable with other businesses and I felt I got good value for money for the work. The quality of the work was completed to a very high standard. Considering the dust involved in removing plaster Don covered all of my furnishings and left my flat in a very neat and tidy state. All rubbish was taken away - something not every tradesman does these days! Overall I am very impressed with TrustGuard and I will definitely be using them again on other jobs I need doing.
