I contacted Robert by email to enquire about possibly shipping medical grade window protection films for my home in Northern Ireland. I have photosensitivity autoimmune disease. The website was the best I viewed in UK with all relevant information I needed to make an informed decision following Dermatologist recommendations at Salford Hospital. Robert contacted me immediately giving reassurance that a courier could be used at my choice. The order was prepared immediately, however the courier was delayed due to unforeseen logistical problems. The products arrived in perfect condition. I did receive my order within seven days which was pretty standard. Robert apologised on behalf courier and kept in close communication. I waited to review for 8 weeks to experience the products. We opted for DIY film. My husband was able to follow the instructions given. Initially we were concerned we applied it wrong as lots of bubbling. These bubbles all disappear after a week. I am happy to report the products are of a high standard and I noticed an immediate reduction in my disease symptoms within a week. I chose clear UV film for house, and reflective solar film for the summerhouse. I am very pleased that Robert assisted with measuring and it was spot on accuracy. It has literally changed my life being able to enjoy my home and garden summerhouse with full UV protection. Great products, great customer service and I highly recommend. My husband is plumber & was able to DIY it. Give it a go!

We had Rob fit Stainless steel 20 widow films to our new windows at the front of the house. The effect from outside looks so smart, you don’t realise they are there, but you can’t see a thing inside, from inside looking out instantly you notice the reduction in glare especially on bright sunny days and within 10mins you totally forget the view is just a shade darker. Highly recommend Rob and the films he uses, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends, you won’t be disappointed.

I live on a first floor flat, and the 3 windows that needed doing were 2 south facing & 1 south/west facing. My rooms are small but the windows are big, and in the summer months it can be like a green house inside, very uncomfortable for me and my Cat. Over the years I have used blackout binds and more recently I had some silver, custom, stick on shades made. Both of those products were ok but obviously blocked out all the light during the day which made it like a dark dingy cave, so I thought about having Solar Heat Reflecting Film applied. After do so much research, and getting a few quotes, which were very expensive, I almost gave up, until I came across UK Window Films LTD. I called them up explaining what I wanted and was passed over to a gentleman called Rob, well from the very second I spoke to him, I knew he was the Man for the job, well before we even discussed a price. He knew exactly what I was looking for, explained it all in words I could understand, very happy, and his price was very very reasonable. So I booked Rob in. On the day of the job he arrive nice and early, very friendly and very polite. His workmanship is second to none, and I’m very happy with the results. I had ‘Silver 20 OSW EXTERNAL fitted. It was quite a warm day today too, and so far I’m very happy with the internal temp, and that I have lost all the glare. I had one-way privacy window film fitted to my house windows. It's reduced the glare, softer interior light, no more need for nets, improved privacy Robert was professional, prompt, good communicator. Robert left my place clean and tidy. I'm very pleased with the finished result.

Rob was very helpful from the start, he explained me what film he recommends for my needs (minimal tinting, laminate glass), sent over photos. He was responsive to all my emailed questions after the initial chat, he could even get me the fire safety records of the external film (for the freeholder). The installation was quick, he even managed to install it on a small window pane that I thought would be impossible (non opening window-pane with tricky access from above). I'm looking forward testing the window films in real sunshine!

I made the initial enquiry to have window film installed on the conservatory on a Monday morning. Rob sent me the quotes promptly and then arranged to visit my home the next day. He brought a few different window films to choose from and then installed the one I liked straight away. Job done by Tuesday lunchtime. Thank you for this excellent service.

I suffer from MS so stuck inside the house a lot. We have an east-facing front and west-facing back, making summers a real challenge and very uncomfortable in the mornings and evenings. Rob came out and did an excellent job installing 25 OSW and it has been a game changer!! As other reviews have already stated, Rob is an expert in this field and it shows right from the very first email response to my inquiry through to installation on the day. It is refreshing in this day and age to come across someone so passionate and knowledgeable about their product and service. On top of this, Rob is a true gent and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We had a blast :). I cannot recommend the services of UK Window Films enough. We looked at cheaper options on Amazon, which would have destroyed our double-glazing in a matter of weeks and cost us a lot to replace, so we considered working with Rob a long-term investment that started reaping its rewards in terms of room comfort and peace of mind from Day 1. Top Job and could not be happier.

Rob installed Silver 20 film to our 6 x 4 conservatory glass roof. Hopefully we will get some sun this summer and I can comment further on how effective this film is. What I can say is, I am so glad I contracted UK WF to supply and install on my behalf. Rob did a great job and is thoroughly professional in his approach. He is also a top bloke and was a pleasure to chat to during the day of installation. We will definitely get him back to do our new windows when we get them installed next year.

I can’t recommend Rob highly enough. Prompt communication and very knowledgable. We ordered some SL50 for our upstairs windows and then asked Rob to come and install it after our attempt wasn’t up to scratch. Still had a couple of questions for a particular special needs but very small order job, so phoned the company several times yesterday with a sucession of queries . Privacy Film to downstairs windows. We were new to window films and did quite a bit of research. During that process Rob and his office team members answered questions clearly and efficiently. He listened well and recommended stainless steel film but sent three different samples for us to 'try out' - which we found very helpful. His pricing was extremely competitive and his professionalism won him the contract. Rob arrived on time, showed flexibility, and did an excellent job. It was a delight to meet him. He also pointed out a fault in the new double glazing - which meant that his work had to pause while we spoke to original manufacturer. Rob took the delay in his stride and returned promptly when the job could be completed.

Unfortunately we are in dispute with UK Window Films who installed a privacy film to our sash windows. We contacted Rob after installation highlighting hair particles, dirt debris, uneven film edges and air bubbles caught in the film. We sent photographs as requested and politely asked him to come back to inspect the job. We waited 30 days as per instruction yet all the problems above still remain. We did hear back from Rob following our email correspondence and to our surprise almost 12 months later we have received a letter of demand for payment.

I can't recommend UK Window Films enough. Rob is an absolute professional and a really nice guy. He fitted Stainless Steel 20 film to our porch, lounge and workshop windows. After my initial enquiry he sent me samples and provided a quotation to my measurements for several different films which he thought would be suitable. As I was undecided he brought two along on the day of the installation so that I could see the difference between them before making a decision. The installation was carried out very quickly and professionally. Delighted with the results and would definitely use them again.

Rob asked me to take measurements, etc; rather than visiting, in order to provide a quote. Whilst a little apprehensive, there were no problems about my measurements on the day of his visit. Having had some windows previously fitted with window films (using another contractor), I had some idea of what to expect from the films he offered. Multi purpose films were good for my requirements - anti-glare and security. Rob was a consummate professional, and had a pleasant manner.

Robert put solar film or privacy glass across most of the windows in our house. We'd agreed the price beforehand and had also taken time to choose the solar glass with his help. We'd used Robert c13 years ago and were delighted with the work and we were really pleased again. His advice and care on the type of film to use and how to install it was really helpful. Quality of the finish is excellent - he's focused, professional and knows what he's doing. Really worthwhile getting this stuff fitted properly or else it looks terrible. We find that solar film makes a huge difference in the summer and that it lasts a long time. Overall delighted. Lsdstly he's a really nice guy.

He sent samples and information ahead of the appointment so I was fully drilled regarding his service and the product. Five stars all round for the great job Rob did of installing roof film tinting on our conservatory, which now makes this a very pleasant usable room which it wasn't before, due to the stifling heat of the sun coming through the polycarbonate roof. On top of that Rob is a very professional, helpful and friendly person. I would highly recommend UK Window Films for this type of project.

Rob carried out an excellent job on our windows, putting privacy window film on and he was very tidy and clean - We agreed schedule and budget which was affordable. What made the trader stand out? Rob answered all my questions and if there were any problems or queries, all I have to do was pick up the phone or e-mail. I have just had window film installed on all of my south facing windows ar the back of my house, including very large patio doors. The installation was completed by Rob from UK Window films Ltd. I could not be more pleased, Rob has done a fantastic job and what a lovely guy. So friendly and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble, every single thing was explained in detail and every question asked was answered in full. I contacted Rob initially with my measurements etc, he gave me a quote, he stuck to the quote exactly and didn't try to inflate the price like some others do, I agreed for the work to be done and the date for it to be done and everything was completed exactly as discussed. I couldn't recommend this company or Rob more highly. Absolutely excellent in my opinion and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
