I would 100% recommend the services of United Dorset Pest Control (UDPC). My initial panicking phone call, about a rat in our airing cupboard, was responded to quickly and efficiently by Paul from UDPC, he was with us within an 30mins at 7.30pm. He was friendly and reassuring, and above all very professional. He identified the situations and explained what would be required to eradicate the rat problem. Paul explained fully the cost and number of visits required. The cost was very competitive in comparison to other quotes. Fingers crossed we will not have any further problems. However, I would not hesitate to contact United Dorset Pest Control.

This company were excellent from start to finish. Paul and his team arrived promptly and quickly assessed the situation. They explained clearly what the problem was and how they would deal with it, making sure I understood each step. The work was carried out professionally, exactly as agreed, even though it took place over several days. I would recommend them to anyone needing pest control.

I cannot speak more highly of United Dorset Pest Control. They have completed work for us a number of times very successfully. When we thought our house was infested with rats Paul identified a nest. He carefully placed poisoned bait so that it was safe for our indoor cats and followed up with a visit and then courtesy calls to ensure that his deterrent was successful. Recently we had risk of seagulls nesting on our chimney pot and we asked Paul to fit spikes to prevent this. He was very careful of our property and also was flexible with timing. Another time, bees swarmed in our neighbours back garden hedge and we gave Paul’s number to them and he came out and safely rehomed them . As a company they have a wealth of knowledge, not only about the pests that they deal with and how to safely manage them, but about the natural world and the Dorset environment and it is this local knowledge that really enhances their service. Paul is very prompt and responsive to any enquiries, and I can thoroughly recommend United Dorset Pest Control.

This company Paul and his family are very efficient. They came and sorted my mining bee problem. Discussed the problem explained the solution including any health and safety for my dog and grandson and carried the work out as arranged. Even when it was over many days. Pricing was very reasonable. I would recommend them for all your pest issues and your peace of mind.

Came out quickly when I found some droppings under my eaves. Visited 3 times to look at the problem and lay bait, and to rectify the problem so that my property is protected. Was very thorough and explained everything so I could understand. Rodger was really helpful and very reassuring as I was completely freaked out at the possibility of having rats. I would thoroughly recommend this firm.

Paul attended my home right before Christmas when the family were due to arrive. Can you imagine a worse moment to find a rodent in your home?! I was hugely grateful that he arrived quickly the same afternoon, at the exact time he said he would. My problem was resolved quickly and Paul returned 3 times to check for any further activity. He took photographs and clearly explained his findings. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. He listened and took on board my concerns and encouraged me to text or call if I was worried between visits. One set price for all visits and contacts, even at the weekend. Would recommend to everyone!

I have called on this family-run business twice in three years relating to separate issues. Both times the response has been immediate, friendly, skilled and thorough. Most recently, Paul even came out on Christmas Eve to be certain no further action was needed and to reassure me he would come out immediately in the event of any recurrence which I am delighted to say has not been necessary. Highly recommend this professional and friendly business for its experience, expertise, environmental awareness, communication and follow-up.

It was back in 2023 now, but Roger and Paul turned up within a very short time after I first contacted them. They are both very friendly and professional and efficiently solved the issues at a very reasonable cost. Once the mouse hotspots and entry points were identified, Paul laid appropriate traps (for example no exposed poison in the kitchen) and returned a few days later to block the entry points. A year later, I asked Paul to return to check on the status and over a couple of days could confidently confirm that there was still no mouse activity. Also, on the first visit they spotted hornets flying around and hunted down a large nest in the shed! They immediately dealt with the problem and the area was safe in a matter of hours. Phew! Thank you Paul and Roger!

Paul had done a great job again lifting slabs, cleaning the terrace and gutters and gulleys. He’s thorough, efficient, polite and very hardworking. That’s why we use him! And a fair price too.

Turned up promptly, knowledgeable, kept me informed, did a good job and a reasonable price. What more could I ask for?

Roger is very professional and certainly knows his job, ridding us of thousands of wasps that had been building a nest by the front door. Mentioned to a neighbour that I had noticed wasps entering my loft under the thatch. She immediately recommended Rodger and Paul who had carried out work for them. On contact Paul came round next morning and professionally dealt with the problem. Highly efficient and friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and use them again (although I hope there are no more wasps wanting to take up home with me!)

We recently moved to the area and, upon waking on Sunday 23rd June morning, we found that a swarm of bees had established home between the facia and wall of the house. After explaining the situation to various members of the Dorset Bee Keeper's Association, Rodger and Paul (United Dorset Pest Control) were recommended to us; within 2 hours on that Sunday, Rodger had come around & investigated the swarm. We wanted, if at all possible, to save the bees (as did Rodger) so we didn't proceed to any conclusion as we were at that point not able to access where the bees had settled, so we agreed that Rodger or Paul would come back on Monday, which they did. Paul then investigated up the ladder amongst the bees! Again, they could not work out a way of saving them as it was a complicated swarm and revisited until there was no option but to destroy the swarm, much to everyone's sadness. Following this unavoidable event, Paul visited the house several times to ensure that the bees had been, sadly, destroyed, all at no extra cost. Unbelievably, as the icing on the cake, we found a wasps nest on Saturday 2nd July so contacted Paul, who came around the following day. He established where the wasps were coming in, came back on Monday and destroyed the wasp's nest. We cannot recommend United Dorset Pest Control more highly; they are warm, caring professionals demonstrating all the attributes that only a small family run business can. Their knowledge and genuine care is exemplary.

We have used Rodger and Paul at various times over the last nine years. They have helped us with hornets nests, moles, deer and squirrels. A friendly family business who are efficient, knowledgeable and experienced. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Roger and his son, Paul are second to none. We were fobbed off by another, what we thought were a “local” pest control business only to find out they were nationwide (the problem with the internet nowadays.) I found Roger’s number having been recommended it by other beekeepers from the Beekeepers’ Association and so glad I went through that route. We would have preferred to rehouse the bees but it was not possible as they had already formed a hive inside our working chimney. I phoned Roger on Saturday and he came one hour later. He needed special equipment so came back another hour later and he did all he could that day. He told me his son would return on Monday to fix a mesh wire to the chimney and true to his word, Paul (and Roger) arrived first thing this morning. The job was finished. They fully explained what they had done. Very friendly, very efficient and a great sense of humour! Very reasonable price. Two thirds cheaper than our original quote from the other charlatans. I’ve even managed to bag some honey from the bees he keeps! Win win.

Called United Dorset Pest Control who responded promptly. Roger attended our cottage at very short notice to treat an ant infestation. He explained in detail the measures he was going to use to eradicate the ants. He left the area clean and tidy. I would recommend him highly and definitely use his services again if required.

Rodger and his son were very professional and polite with an immediate response. Very pleased with the work and a reasonable charge. Would definitely use them again if needed.

Friendly team, told us their plans and updated us each visit so we felt reassured and less stressed about the mice problem. Also knew we could contact them between visits. They kept coming back to work on the problem until resolved. Always prompt at the arranged times so didn’t cause any disruption or delays. They checked for all possible entrance places and then filled these in. Excellent service!

Paul and Rodger were quick to survey the area and provide advice on next steps and options available. Paul was able to use his skills as a carpenter to access under the floors and decking to check for problems and returning it to its previous state! Happy to recommend, very helpful, good communication and know their stuff!

We called Rodger to investigate suspected bed bugs. He and Paul managed to fit us in on the same day of us calling. Once on site they did a thorough inspection of the house including taking one bed apart and checking carpets , skirting boards and bedding. They found nothing, so gave us the 'all clear'. Excellent, knowledgable and fast service and we weren't charged as no remedial work was carried out. Thoroughly recommended.

This is the second time that I have used United Pest Control and have found Roger and Paul to be very helpful and conscientious in their work. I can’t thank them enough for the number of visits that they had to make to the property to complete the job. Appointments to visit were always made and kept. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

I have contacted Rodger and his son Paul previously and wouldn't hesitate to contact them in the future. I wouldn't consider using anyone else. Due to a neighbouring property, I had a rat in my loft. Rodger paid a third and final visit to my house this morning and gave me the all clear. Now I can sleep at night. Rodger is thorough, professional, always on time and certainly knows his stuff. Rodger and Paul are two of the nicest guys you could ever wish to meet. We had a terrible bee issue in our building and had been fobbed off by two other pest control companies when we found United Dorset Pest Control. I can not recommend Rodger and Paul enough. They are extremely knowledgeable in all things pest related. From the first visit there was a clear plan in tackling the issue and they did so in a quick and efficient manner, for a very reasonable price... and to top it off they have the best sense of humour, I almost want another pest issue now so that they can come back!

I emailed Rodger in the early hours of the morning, having heard mice in my loft. Rodger called first thing in the morning and arranged an inspection the same day. He was super flexible, reasonable and really helpful. I had no further issues after Rodgers's first visit, in which he then put the prevention in place to stop mice from returning in the future. We were recommended United Dorset Pest Control by a good friend of ours. We got in touch with Rodger regarding our issues of seagulls causing damage mess & blocking our drains on the roof, which caused water ingress through our ceiling! They came around the next day to assess the situation. Roger and Paul were extremely knowledgeable about the whole process of deterrents for this. They put in place special seagull spikes around the chimney pots where needed & did a very professional job. They are prompt, very friendly, & efficient & always there to answer the phone if any problems.
