I would 100% recommend the services of United Dorset Pest Control (UDPC). My initial panicking phone call, about a rat in our airing cupboard, was responded to quickly and efficiently by Paul from UDPC, he was with us within an 30mins at 7.30pm. He was friendly and reassuring, and above all very professional. He identified the situations and explained what would be required to eradicate the rat problem. Paul explained fully the cost and number of visits required. The cost was very competitive in comparison to other quotes. Fingers crossed we will not have any further problems. However, I would not hesitate to contact United Dorset Pest Control.

Rodger and Paul carried out work at my property to prevent pigeons roosting under my solar panels. My job presented a challenge as the panels were not close coupled where there was a big gap between each row of panels, but they overcame the problem with ease and made a very professional looking job. I am very grateful for their swift service which was clean and tidy not made easy in the cold, high winds and rain which interfered with their schedules. Nothing was too much trouble. I asked for a cowl to go on a chimney pot as recently a bird fell down the pot and was trapped. They were good enough to seek out a cowl and fit it. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else looking for this service.

I was at work and received a panicked phone call from my husband saying that there was a huge bee swarm in our log burner, up the chimney liner and outside around the chimney cowl. I immediately called Rodger as we use him at work and within the next hour and a half Paul had attended and dealt with the problem. Speedy and friendly service, reasonably priced, would highly recommend (in fact I already have!)

We returned from holiday on the 29th July and noticed we had a wasp nest under the tiles outside our bedroom window. I telephoned Rodger on Sunday 30th in the afternoon and he said he'd come round and deal with them within the hour, which he did. He was very quick and professional and the problem was soon sorted to our satisfaction. We had also noticed in our absence a mole had been extremely busy in our lawn and flowerbeds. After some soul searching we decided to ask Rodger to deal with this as well. This has also been dealt with. We feel Rodger understood our initial reluctance and gave us time to consider our options, which we appreciate. We would recommend Roger every time and will always send for him when it comes to pest control.

Rodger and his son were friendly, helpful, and reassuring all the way through from the moment I first contacted Rodger in a bit of a panic, to the final visit, and they were both very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. Rodger responded to us very quickly after I had contacted him. He came out promptly, was extremely helpful and efficient, started the treatment immediately and returned with his son, Paul, a couple of days later to complete removal of the old bird's nest, which was the source of the problem. He also established the point of entry of the birds to our loft space and bird proofed it with wire. He supplied us with an excellent service, explained everything to us and did it all for a very reasonable price, all in all a very rare experience these days! We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Rodger, Paul and their company.

Having just moved into our new home we heard scuffling sounds in the attic! We contacted Rodger who very promptly came around offering us advice and setting to work immediately to sort out the problem. The noises turned out to be rats which it seemed that we had inherited from the previous owners. Rodger set ethical traps and returned every week until he was sure that the rats would not return. His reassurance, knowledge, professionalism and humour are second to none and I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any pest control issue needed as he certainly knows his stuff !

I have contacted Rodger and his son Paul previously and wouldn't hesitate to contact them in the future. I wouldn't consider using anyone else. Due to a neighbouring property, I had a rat in my loft. Rodger paid a third and final visit to my house this morning and gave me the all clear. Now I can sleep at night. Rodger is thorough, professional, always on time and certainly knows his stuff. We were recommended United Dorset Pest Control by a good friend of ours. We got in touch with Rodger regarding our issues of seagulls causing damage mess & blocking our drains on the roof, which caused water ingress through our ceiling! They came around the next day to assess the situation. Roger and Paul were extremely knowledgeable about the whole process of deterrents for this. They put in place special seagull spikes around the chimney pots where needed & did a very professional job. They are prompt, very friendly, & efficient & always there to answer the phone if any problems. Also very reasonably priced if you make a good cup of coffee with three sugars and chocolate biscuits 👍😁 Thank you Roger & Paul

With so much travel nowadays it's not surprising we have unwelcome guests, fleas, bed bugs and others. During a changeover we need fast efficient resolutions. Rodger has produced these on each occasion with no disturbance to our guests. On occasions it's not just one visit but Rodger is persistent until he's resolved the problem. Rodger was with us less than 24 hours after we called him and is an expert on fleas (and almost everything else I reckon). I had had a very nasty reaction to the bites and he did a complete spray of everywhere and told us to keep in touch. In fact Rodger did a very regular check-in with us and even came again and we are finally vacuuming our carpets. He is an incredibly kind man and it was a pleasure working with him. I recommend him highly.

Friendly team, told us their plans and updated us each visit so we felt reassured and less stressed about the mice problem. Also knew we could contact them between visits. They kept coming back to work on the problem until resolved. Always prompt at the arranged times so didn’t cause any disruption or delays. I emailed Rodger in the early hours of the morning, having heard mice in my loft. Rodger called first thing in the morning and arranged an inspection the same day. He was super flexible, reasonable and really helpful. I had no further issues after Rodgers's first visit, in which he then put the prevention in place to stop mice from returning in the future. Roger Bennett came in response to a phone call the same day. He did a thorough search in my house and garden and my neighbour's house and discovered where the rats were infesting. He said that probably my bird feeding was the reason rats had been attracted to my house and garden. He put down plenty of rat poison pellets in each entry place - he said to kill at least 30 rats! - and said he would call again in a week. This he did and covered up the rat holes so if they were opened again he would know that further poison was needed. He came again a week later and checked both houses everywhere, in the garden and attics to find no further rat disturbance - thank goodness. He is a delightful and very concientious man who I would certainly recommend if you have any such pest infestation. However, I do hope I won't need his services again.
