James came round my house to inspect some scratches on my car, including a deep scratch from a key. He gave me a very reasonable quote to repair the scratches through buffering alone. The buffering completely repaired a scratch on my bumper, but the key scratch was still visible which was expected. James provided another very reasonable quote to spray paint the scratch, which did the job. Thank you to James for repairing the scratches on my car, and for providing an excellent service. I'd definitely recommend him :)

Up to Scratch came to look at my car the very next day and fixed it on the spot, I was told the scratch was'nt as bad as it looked and buffed away leaving a small scratch which the paint was mixed on the spot and scratch repaired. This bloke not only fixed my car after only having it for 7 day and being hit and driver drove off but he also saved me a lot of money and beat everyone else's quotes. Will always use and recommend Up to scratch from now on, his customer service is second to none and he also left me with a pot of paint too.

Would definitely recommend James for any surface repair. This is the second time myself and family have asked James to repair damage to the cars and on both times he has done an excellent job, you can’t even tell there was damage. He has great communication, always gets back to you ASAP and lets you know if there’s any problems. He was prompt and arrived when he said he would. He’s a very polite and friendly gentleman. His pricing is great, and what he quotes is what it cost. Top marks all round would really recommend.

My Toyota Yaris is by no means new, but I was quite distressed when it received deep scratches on the rear door and also a small dent. Although James admitted it would be a difficult job the result is absolutely amazing. The bodywork was restored as new and no sign of the dent. The price was also very reasonable. James obviously takes great pride in his work and is only satisfied with perfection. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

What an amazing Job completed today by James of Up to Scratch. The bonnet which had scratches from a car wash looks as good as new. The handle on my rear window hatch is completely gone and the new paint job looks great. The solution to the deep scratch on my rear bumper has worked a treat too. And just as important the cost of all of this work was extremely reasonable. Very pleased with all of this work I can highly recommend James to anyone needing some scratch repairs done on their car.

What a brilliant job James did came to do a bumper and ended up doing my sons alloy as well which looks like its new. Texted the night before to let us know what time he would arrive which is very polite. Very nice chap and a great trader was here from 8.15 to 3.15 what a grafter. James was given photos by myself of a few indents, deep scratches, cracks in my paintwork and light washer jet on my bumper. He said yes I can sort that for you matey. Not knowing what to expect, I left my car with him for 4 hours while I went to work. Feeling a bit anxious all day not knowing what to expect as my bumper was in a mess, I was delighted when I got back later that day and seen what he has done. There is only 1 word that can describe what I seen... Perfection! Bumper looks like new.... no cracks... no indents and paint work is perfect. Cant thank him enough and I shall be passing his number on with as strong message to say I wouldst recommend anyone else.

What can I say about the work James has just completed on my vehicle - absolutely faultless! Had my 17 year old golf drivers side door done to day which had a big dent and most of the paint had cracked and chipped away, James came out repaired and resprayed the door for me, his work and his attention to detail is first class and very professional and I highly recommend Mr Beauchamp.

Cannot fault the repair carried out by James. We agreed a price and date for the repair and I received a text the day before to confirm the time of arrival. James carried out the work to an excellent standard that would have cost far more in a repair shop. You would not believe it was possible to achieve the quality of work when it had been carried out on a driveway.
