My back garden, patio and paths needed an urgent upgrade, having not had any major work carried out since 1986. Chris visited my house, and with his advice and my requirements, a plan was created. He and his brilliant team arrived on time every day and transformed my garden to my wishes. Their dedication to the tasks involved and their quality of work is second to none. This is second time I have used them and I would have no hesitation in using them again. Highly recommended.

My job for Urban Jungle Solutions was far from being a 'glamourous' job. The old grouting around the slabs on my patio was breaking up badly, some slabs had lifted and needed resettling. The guys arrived punctually and worked quickly, taking advantage of the break in the weather. The work was completed the following day and heavy pots and garden bench put back in place for me. Would be more than happy to recommend this company and I appreciate the great job they did for me. Job came in under quote too as work was completed quicker than anticipated.

We are so pleased with the work carried out by Urban Jungle Solutions, Chris and his team did a great job in overhauling our front garden and driveway. The team landscaped our back garden a few years ago and we were so happy with the job we wanted to have them back to do the front. They widened the driveway area, laid block paving, and created surrounding flower beds. They laid a new path to the house and around the garden, and landscaped the garden to the side. Communication was great throughout and changes to the design were discussed and accommodated, Chris has an eye for design and his team are very skilled and friendly. We couldn’t be happier and would definitely recommend them.

Chris & the team completely transformed my back garden. A range of different, decking clad levels were flattened, a replacement patio laid, raised flower beds constructed, a lawn laid & suitable drainage put in place. Chris and his team recently remove an old garage, dig out a large patio area and built a retaining walls from sleepers before laying a large new patio. Communication was excellent both in the quoting process and when work was being carried out, and the team were really easy workman to have around. Chris listened to my ideas and had helpful suggestions, and thought of things that other companies we had out to quote didn’t. The end result is fantastic and we wouldn’t hesitate to use Urban jungle solutions again or recommend them to others.

Chris and his team did a fantastic job of pulling up all our old wooden decking (which was rotten in places). Cleared the ground underneath, fitted a new frame and laid new composite decking. Not a small job, as we had 45 square metres, and it's laid in three tiers. The team were reliable, turning up every single day on time and they worked hard to get the job done, cleaning up at the end of each day. While they may not be the cheapest out there, the reliability, level of workmanship and quality definitely justify the price charged. The whole process was worry and stress free (sadly not that common in my experience with tradesmen). We are delighted with the finished result, and Chris will be our first choice if we ever want any more landscaping work done in the future.

This is the second time I have used Urban Garden Solutions. They had landscaped my garden a couple of years ago and we wanted to finish the final part of our garden transformation by cladding our truly hideous breeze block garage that was an eyesore at the end of the garden. Chris was great at discussing and understanding the job. I explained the plan using wooden cladding and showed pictures of what I wanted to achieve. His team arrive promptly each morning and work hard all day. The work was completed on time and to budget. The final result is fantastic!

Urban Jungle Solutions have recently completed a landscaping project in our garden and we're absolutely delighted with it! Chris and the team have recently totally ripped out my back garden and revamped it to a whole new level of luxury. So we also had him and his team back to replace some rotting sleepers in our two raised beds. This was done with hardwood railway sleepers and they look brilliant - another top job by urban Jungle team. They may not be the cheapest but they certainly are the best and they do a real proper job that’s guaranteed and done to the highest quality and standards. Chris and his team just finished working on a big landscaping job for me, which included - Full clearout of the previous garden and driveway - Election of a fence and wide gate - Block paved driveway leading to a block paved path in the garden - New patio installation with a step down into the garden - New grass laid with a block border - Shed erected with guttering and water butts, as well as a concrete base - Vegetable planters - Robotic lawnmower setup - Clothesline repair and reinstallation - Custom bike wash stand - Planting beds with borders for the front of the house and at the end of the patio - Ensuring there is drainage for all aspects of the work done I can't praise Chris and his team highly enough, they were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and made great suggestions to improve and add to the aesthetics of the garden. The neighbours even complemented them on their workmanship and professionalism, whilst undertaking the project. Chris's quote for works done was spot on, and I'm not expecting ant surprises ... with any additional costs for works being clarified before being undertaken. I would 100% recommend them for your own garden project, without any hesitation.

Chris and his team did a splendid job on our back garden, which had got into a very sorry state. It has been completely transformed. They even managed to get a mechanical digger through the garage and out of the standard size door at the rear into the garden, which helped clear the many loads of earth and rubble that needed to be removed. When they left, everything was spick and span, and exactly as we had planned it. We hope we can keep it that way. We cannot thank them all enough.

From the outset, Chris and the team were honest and open about what they could do. Quotations and invoices arrived promptly. Most importantly the results are amazing and we are genuinely delighted with what has been achieved with a fairly small urban garden. Chris Upsdale and his excellent team completely remade my back garden to a design I provided. They removed all the existing substructure, extensive rotting woodwork, gravel, overgrown hedging and planting; some cherished items were potted and finally replanted. They worked round two acers and a hamamelis which remained in situ, and strengthened the existing fencing. The new paving was beautifully laid. Care was taken to discuss with me the layout of new steps, among other things, and to ensure I was happy with the choice of materials. My on-the-spot requests and modifications were accommodated with generosity. The result is a garden which looks twice the size, is light and airy, and delights me. Chris's schedule allowed the work to be done earlier than anticipated, and his team remained on site throughout. The invoice was as the original quotation, with extras very reasonably priced and notified in advance. Work started punctually at 8am and the front of the house left tidy with uncluttered parking space, every day. The neighbours were not inconvenienced at any time. The men were a pleasure to have around, all courteous, careful, reassuring, friendly, helpful, hardworking in rain and sun. They even brought their own refreshments. At the end, I asked for some minor additional brickwork and Chris has given me a time for this to be done. The whole process of transformation was a pleasure.

I love the work completed by Urban Jungle Solutions. Chris and the team are wonderful and this is the second time that I have used them. I have had two patios completed, drainage area installed, fencing put up and also planting of shrubs. The team are extremely polite and work with great enthusiasm and commitment. The also keep the areas really clean, which is not mean feet considering it messy work! I am now thinking what else can they do :-)

Chris and his team did an outstanding job in transforming our rather dingy yard at the side of the house, and it is now an attractive addition to the property, rather than something we were ashamed of. Chris and his team did a complete overhaul of our garden, taking out rotten timber decking and replacing with paving, a pergola and new turf. The team arrived on time each day and got on with the job. Chris and his team have just finished doing all the hard landscaping of our garden. The build took 12 days, and everyone arrived on site promptly every day. I had given Chris the drawing of my vision for our garden, and he was able to bring this to life. Each morning, there was a discussion on what was to be done, and any marking out was then agreed. If small changes were necessary, they were talked through and the suggestions that the team made all made sense and enhanced the design. All the staff were very polite and a pleasure to have on site. They all worked very hard and were exceedingly well managed. The transformation was fantastic and we could not be more pleased and there were no nasty surprises with the final bill. Chris and his team completed a much needed overhaul of our back garden and transformed it from an unused, unpractical and unfriendly place particularly for our 3 year old into a wonderful, safe, modern and contemporary space that we can all enjoy as a family. Arthur is now loving life on his bespoke slide fitted to enable him to go from a high tier down onto the patio. New Steps, gate, handrail all made bespoke and with such care and expertise. Patio is perfect and the cladding, paint work and raised beds all finished off to an excellent standard. Part of garden re turfed and levelled off to make the space more usable and the care taken to put the fence back as it was found due to the access was first class. Urban Jungle completed a full re-vamp of our garden and turned it into a beautiful and child friendly space which was exactly what we wanted. This is the second project Chris and his team have completed in our garden. We found 'Urban Jungle' to be very professional and courteous. Given the inclement weather the job was completed in the best time possible. Once the work was finished, the garden was left tidy and the final bill was as expected. Chris and his team are all very approachable and helpful. Old, rotten decking was removed and disposed of. A patio with brick retaining wall and brick raised beds was built to replace it. He and his team were here bang on time on the appointed day and cleared out a lot of old stuff, built a nice new deck and fencing, and found sensible solutions to problems that cropped up as they went. An outstanding job from Chris and his team. They totally transform my garden. The whole garden needed a complete overhaul and they did a marvelous job. A new patio and path to the new back gate, new base for a shed, new back fence and re-turfed the lawn. My project itself wasn’t easy as there was no rear access & all materials had to be lugged-in-and-out through my home but Chris & his team were exceptional & my garden has been completely transformed from a dull & depressing area into a bright feature rich pleasant area to be in. Chris and his team removed and replaced a garden fence over two days. They were well organised with their tools and materials, did a good job despite access being difficult and were pleased to make a small change in the work they expected to do without fuss. Neighbours who have seen their work have been impressed and asked for their contact details. I am glad to have found Chris and his team and will ask them to carryout more work in the future. Also, I was impressed by Chris's knowledge of the plants in the garden and made note of what he told me.

We moved into our property one year ago and inherited two small areas of lawn at the front of the property and a larger lawn to the rear. I am a keen amateur gardener and have little interest in lawn, hence we engaged Urban Jungle Solutions to completely landscape the rear garden and replace the front two lawns with raised beds. The Urban Jungle Solutions team removed an old and dying hedge and very old wooden fence that badly needed replacing and replaced them with a new wooden fence. The team were prompt, efficient, friendly and hard-working. A pleasure to have them for the time it took to complete the work. The resulting fence is first class and does much to improve the garden. Have already booked for more work this summer. Highly recommended!

Chris and his team did a fantastic job of taking up our “death trap” decking and replacing it with natural slate. His knowledge and attention to detail can’t be faulted and his team were great – tidy, hard-working, friendly and polite. The work was completed on time and on price.
