Rehome

Having sold my kitchen privately, the buyer and I tried between us to find someone to dismantle and transport it. We had various quotes at many different prices, but most of them expected to take around 3 days to dismantle. We used UKE in the end. They were very professional and completed the dismantle in 4 hours, with no breakages and no mess left. The team worked well together and had all the necessary tools and equipment to do a very professional job. They began their dismantle at 1pm, having driven down from Manchester to near London, and the buyer had her kitchen delivered and unpacked by 11.30am the next day! I would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone planning on selling their kitchen.

The team of 3 were in and out in 2 hours when dismantling the kitchen. The fully fitted kitchen included refrigerator and dishwasher drawers and a huge LaCanche cooker. They were friendly and just did what they were here to do.

The initial contact with UKE was positive and the subsequent quotations and arrangement of works were all handled very professionally. Communications were spot on and what I appreciated most was their open honesty with managing our expectations on value and time frames. They met every deadline. On removal, the guys turned up at the agreed time and set out the order of the day and addressed any queries and concerns which we had before commencing work. We found all the crew to be totally professional and courteous throughout the work period. They were tidy and respectful of our property at all times and ensured we were satisfied with the removal before they left. They managed to remove and load their vehicles well within the allotted time. Subsequent communications from the Head Office were great, clearly setting out the schedule of events over the next 14 days which allows the purchaser to receive and inspect the goods before confirming their satisfaction. Payment was deposited into my account for the agreed amount on the agreed day. It's quite rare in this day and age to find a company who actually strive to fulfil their commitments wholly, so I would therefore have no hesitation in recommending the services of Used Kitchen Exchange Ltd. UKE managed the sale and dismantle of our kitchen in Feb - May 2021 and were a pleasure to deal with. Their comms were excellent and they were prompt replying to emails. There was always someone to pick up the phone and help me with any queries. The sale went through in ample time before our new kitchen was due to install and the dismantle team were excellent, with UKE managing the whole process. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

The company was very efficient and did everything they promised from start to finish. The guys who came and took out the kitchen were fast and polite and were very tidy. They even helped my wife carry through a baby high chair which they did not have to do. Would fully recommend them.

The guys from UKE were absolutely fantastic! They came fully prepared, got stuck in immediately, had the whole thing dismantled in about 3 hours! Left no mess whatsoever, we’re polite, friendly chaps. 10/10 would recommend!

We used Shaun, Darren and Collin to dismantle and deliver a used kitchen that we sold through the Used Kitchen Exchange. They were very efficient - communication was good (Shaun text me the night before to confirm the appointment), and the dismantle happened quickly in a professional and organised way. Very nice team. Knew what they were doing and got on with it with minimum fuss. Would happily recommend the team.

Bought a Rehome kitchen. Excellent experience. The whole process was incredibly simple. Lovely, non-pushy sales team. The kitchen received was in exactly the excellent condition that it was described. Moreover the kitchen came from Essex and was delivered to Falmouth. The boys (Serg, Rob, Nigel & Martin) who dismantled and delivered the kitchen down to me were really great. Polite, excellent communication. Kept me up to date on delivery times and expectations. Handled the units with such care and attention when unloading it. We now have a brilliant kitchen that cost us very little. Everything just ‘worked’ After this experience I will never buy a new kitchen again - great work and thank you

Danny, Neal & Josh came to dismantle my kitchen. They sent me a text in the morning with an approx arrival time which I appreciated as I'm not living at the house yet so it saved me waiting around unnecessarily. On arrival they were friendly & polite, brought their tools in and got on with it. The kitchen was dismantled quickly but carefully from what I can tell. Overall experience was good and I'm satisfied with the job they did.

From start to finish I was kept informed. I was dealt with both professionally and friendly throughout. We managed to get a buyer quite quickly as I had a very tight schedule. The guys doing the dismantling of the kitchen were very effective and there was minimal damage to units , which given size of kitchen and number of units was a feat in itself. I had never used Rehome previously but worked certainly recommend

Its the little things that make the difference. They turned up on time, they explained what they were going to do and likely timescales. They put down floor protection and started work. Although it was a kitchen removal their approach to looking after the kitchen was as though it was brand new. A great example of how things can and should be done. I am not looking to replace our kitchen for many years but would have no hesitation in recommending Rehome

I’m not one to write reviews so this will be short. These guys do exactly what they say they will, on the day they say they’ll do it, with the minimum of fuss. Their service is not cheap, but if you try to do it yourself the chances are you’ll end up with less money and more hassle.

From my initial contact to receiving payment when promised, UKE were great. Trusting a company to sell something and retain the money until all parties are satisfied is a strange feeling, but it works very well and UKE are professional and do what they say they will. They achieved a fair value for my kitchen and I'm pleased its gone to a new home. I would use them again if I need to.

Very happy to have found a home for our old kitchen within our deadline. It was old but was hand built and in good condition so to have sent it to landfill would have been a tragedy. Everyone we dealt with was very helpful. Timescales were adhered to. Start to finish was about 6 weeks. Survey and photography very thorough. Dismantle team on time and very polite and efficient. Financially it offered good value as the alternative for us would have been cost of removal and disposal, but the arrangement with Used Kitchen Exchange meant that these were covered and we received the balance of funds, less their commission for the sale. A fair and reasonable arrangement. Would happily recommend this service.

Excellent customer service from the sales team, to the photographer to the team dismantling the kitchen. Very friendly, efficient and professional. The team took a lot of care dismantling the kitchen and cleared up after them. Entire process has been very professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

We received plenty of information in advance including confirmation of time, dismantlers' mobile number, etc. The two guys turned up at 9.30 as scheduled (having already driven up from London) and worked solidly to remove our hand-made wooden kitchen and appliances - including a stone worktop, fridge freezer, cooker, etc. They were so efficient, tidy and pleasant (and very Covid-safe). They finished by 1.30 and the place was left spotless. Highly recommended!

The chaps arrived on time, they carried out the work efficiently and with speed and also were very clean. Very impressed with the care they took in removing the kitchen and they wrapped up and/or covered the units and white goods to prevent damaged whilst in transit.

We had sold our used kitchen via UKE and were very pleased with the whole process. We were very impressed with how efficiently and carefully our old kitchen was removed to be transported to its new owner and payment has now been received so they were presumably pleased with the way it was handled too. Excellent way to recycle a used kitchen without it going to landfill.
