Van Man Removals and Storage Ltd

All businesses expect criticism from time-to-time (but I am pleased to say this is the first negative review we have received in 10 years of trading) but although this hurts there is no point becoming defensive so it’s the Van Man way to take this in a constructive manner, and I can assure all readers we have already put systems in place to ensure this never happens again. There’s clearly more to this than has been written here and we have communicated fully with the customer prior to this review being left. I would like to reiterate that I ended my last email with the offer of discussing these matters further should they wish to and that offer remains open. We do have a full complaints procedure in place and we could have used the Which? Trusted Traders independent ombudsman scheme to cast an unbiased eye over all these matters (which we still can do). I would also like to point out we are a small business serving the local community which employs local, professional and hard-working staff who are in turn supporting their families. So I hope this one-off negative feedback is not too damaging to our true superb reputation. Please do read all of our other feedback! Anyway we promise to make a £5 donation to charity for each review received and we never stipulated that these had to be good reviews so we will happily make a contribution for this entry (every cloud has a silver lining!)
