We used Van Man removals to move our household goods into storage and six months later into our new home. A really excellent company, highly recommended. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Mike was always quick to answer any queries, was very reassuring and explained everything clearly. On moving day everything was packed up very carefully and efficiently, a very professional team. When we moved into our new home they could not have been more helpful and professional.

I have used Mike and his team for two moves both involving storage. They are ultra-professional, personable, respectful, efficient and thoroughly nice guys to have around. I can not praise them enough. I will be using them again and would recommend anyone else to do so.

From our initial enquiry for quotes through to the completion of the move, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Despite it being a large move carried out over two days, nothing was ever too much trouble and the level of professionalism throughout was superb. The team rebuilt our beds to a higher standard than the original manufacturer — the gas lifting mechanisms now work correctly and require minimal effort — and also assembled a particularly challenging dining table with great care and precision. Every member of the team was polite, helpful, and a real credit to the company. What is often one of the most stressful experiences was made simple and hassle-free. Having not moved house for 22 years, we were very anxious in the leading weeks, Mike reassured me and was very patient with my queries. On the removal day Leon, Dean, Ryan and Alan completely took the stress out of the day for us. They were so careful removing furniture out of old house and into new and I would be very pleased to recommend Van Man Removals. Mike even gave me a discount for working for the NHS which was a nice gesture.

From the first contact, I had a professional service complete with a well-mannered, helpful and incredibly hardworking team of movers. It was a large and long move which was done with proficiency and good humour. The schedule was kept to, the budget was perfect, along with excellent communication, and I cannot praise this company highly enough.

Van Man Removals moved the contents of our 4-bedroom house to our new home efficiently and without any fuss or drama. What a great team of guys! From the initial enquiry to the completion of my sister's house move I cannot fault Mike and his team. From the first telephone call and with very short notice, we experienced a very slick and professional quote/booking system, and regular contact up until the day of move, when 3 vans arrived on site and seamlessly loaded the furniture, making what we expected to be a very emotional day a lot less stressful. We recently moved and used The Van Man's full packing service. They were excellent—we couldn't fault them. The team replied to any initial enquiries swiftly and completed the packing and move in just two days—all others quoted at least three. Their quote was very competitive. Nothing got broken or lost in the move. The men worked like Trojans but were polite and cheerful. Best removal service we've ever experienced.

Excellent service! The team moved an upright piano for me from Devon to Somerset. They were extremely professional, polite and approachable, and I was very pleased with the job that they did. Mike provided all the relevant information via email, and he was always quick to respond to any queries. Their pricing was also very competitive. Definitely a company that I would highly recommend! I was going to hire a van and do my move myself. I was moving a short distance within Topsham. On receipt of the leaflet about Van Man Exeter it was so refreshingly written, I called and got a quote the same morning. Packing boxes arrived the same day. On moving day Leon and his team of 3 arrived on time at 0930. By 1115 the job was done. They were professional, on time managed the tricky traffic challenges of Topsham really well. Final invoice was exactly as expected. What a brilliant team all round from owners to the team. I would like the recipe for the magic ingredient please. Chris H

From start to finish, these guys were fantastic. Strongly recommend them - competent, friendly, affordable and importantly no hidden fees or other common hassles. Quote - was transparent and easily arranged just by forwarding a video clip. Mike was very responsive and all the usual questions were answered in advance. They held the date for me despite not being able to place a deposit until (a late) Exchange. An when I had questions, there was also an office team I could always get through to with questions. Moving home - the guys were fantastic. Professional, on time and took care of property and contents. It was a long day (moving from London to Exeter) but they were quick and even pulled in other local teams. Invoice - no nasty surprises or extra add-on fees. The price was exactly as quoted.

I’m a disabled person who lives on my own. So when I needed to move from Exeter to Exmouth I wanted to use a removal company - this is the first time I have used one. From the first this company was brilliant and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was friendly and happy. They made moving day as stress free as possible. We needed a large storage unit emptied in Exeter and delivered to London. The initial quote and booking were easy with quick communication from Mike who made the whole experience simple. The price was excellent, all our stuff arrived safely and the delivery team were a lovely couple of chaps!

Van Man Removals, based in Tiverton, proved to be an excellent removal service for dealing with several different items to three different addresses in Bristol and London. They were efficient - 6 men came to pack up and put items in the van - and then two of them delivered to the addresses. There were no hitches at the other end and the guys who came were very accommodating and careful in what they did. They were also punctual and clean. We were drawn to the firm not least because they paid above the minimum wage to their crew and they cared about their welfare and training. Even so their price was the median of three quotations for the job, so the cost was fair but not excessive.

We used van man removals to move our belongings from Devon to Pembrokeshire and I couldn't recommend them enough! They were super friendly, very fast loading and unloading, and they helped create a calm atmosphere in a stressful situation. When we arrived at our new home our TV and sofa were already set up for us which was a lovely thing to walk in to! Matt and Luke who took our belongings to Pembrokeshire were lovely, friendly and kind, along with the other 2 guys that helped load everything initially.

The team were on time, courteous and efficient. Very happy with the service, will use them again and recommend them to friends.

My daughter was moving to a new house and we needed to transport some furniture we had in storage in Exeter to Cambridge. From the moment I got in touch with Mike his response was excellent. Although we needed the move done within a few days he managed to fit us in. On the day of the pick up, the guys arrived on time and were extremely professional. Likewise, the next day Matt & Dean did a great job taking the stuff to Cambridge, again arriving spot on time and making short work of unloading everything. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to other people.

Moving house can be stressful at the best of times, but when you're emptying your deceased parents place it's a whole new level. I can't thank Van Man removals enough for their service. From booking to loading, everything was so much easier than I was expecting. Mike and his team were constant professionals yet friendly in their approach. Matt & Dean arrived on time. They looked really smart in their work clothes and both were very friendly and happy. I had just had new wood flooring and decorating so was probably overly worried about things being moved. I need not have been...they were very careful. They put up with my fussing with good humor, nothing was too much trouble for them. A huge thanks to Matt & Dean and thanks also to Mike for being so efficient in arranging everything.

After a very protracted sale and purchase Mike stepped in when our original movers could no longer honour the date. He arranged and booked the move really quickly so that there was no delay in our exchange. When the day came Mike and his team were friendly, careful, quick and efficient (they packed for us as well). They didn't leave until they were sure we were happy and didn't want anything relocating.
