Vantage Windows & Doors Ltd

After researching a few companies, I decided to go with Vantage. I am very glad I did, as they were excellent from start to finish. Ernie arrived on time, and took about 15 minutes to discuss my needs and do rough measurements. Later that evening I was emailed a quote and was very happy to go ahead. No payment or deposit was required, and payment was taken only after the job was completed. David arrived a few days later to take accurate measurements and my windows and patio doors were ordered. Communications were excellent, keeping me informed every step of the way. I visited the showroom which helped me decide on handles and type of privacy glass. About two weeks later, David and David arrived on time and began installation. They were very polite and worked non stop…I basically had to force them to stop for a cup of coffee! All windows were fitted in two days. My internal window sills were replaced with upvc and look amazing. They tidied up afterwards and removed all the old windows and doors. David explained how my windows worked, and we were given a 10 year guarantee. Payment was made on completion, and was exactly the same as the original quote. I would highly recommend Vantage Windows .

Was a pleasure to do business with your Company- Very Professional.... from start to finish - Ernie very pleasant who listened to.. what I wanted - quick measure up to enable a very detailed Quote to be sent - which did not even take 24 hours - No hard selling or pressure to make a quick decision before he left - { I did have another 3 companies visit to quote for the work - one was a Company that does a " big sale " advert on TV - That visit was most unprofessional and nothing in writing as for the price that was just a joke. }- The fitting team David , David, Gary were such cheery people - turned up on time both days - one of the hardest working teams I have came across - Easy to talk to and explained every step - nothing was to much bother and cleaned up as they went along - The Stair landing window had me worried as it a very big heavy window and on twist of the stair - they planned how they were going to do it and with great effort they got it fitted - it looks lovely... We did go to visit the showroom to see the windows before we made our choice so we knew what to expect - We would not hesitate to recommend... a good choice if you want a very good service.... a good team from owner - admin - and well deserved praise for the fitting team - (p.s.) they should be paid extra for fitting that stair window....

We were very pleased with our front door from Vantage 4 years ago, so had no hesitation in using them to supply and fit windows. Ordering to fitting, Ernie provided a seamless service, even providing same fitters that had fitted our door. We were also able to get windows to suit our cottage style house. We were kept informed about date and time of fitting. Fitters arrived on time, worked all day without stopping to ensure job completed the same day. They were friendly, their workmanship was excellent and they tidied up when they were finished. The windows and patio door are of excellent quality and have greatly reduced traffic noise. Great service at a very reasonable price!

After reading reviews and viewing the website for Vantage Windows & Doors I decided to get a quote. Ernie was out to visit a few days later and was very helpful and gave me great ideas and advice on which windows to go for. He was very helpful and honest and didn't feel any pressure into buying. I had already got a rough quote on their website so had an idea of the cost before the final quote arrived. We also got upvc window sills and frames fitted inside around each window which look amazing. I visted the show room to see the black window frames in real life which are lovely and is what we went for. David, David and Gary fitted our windows in a day and were absolutely fantastic. What a great team! The finish is excellent and feels like a new house with our new style windows. Thank you so much!

Ernie came to our house to note our requirements and took measurements. He then provided a competitive quote. We went to look at different types of windows at the showroom where Ernie took the time to explain all the options. After placing the order we were given an installation date which suited us and on the day, the two David’s and Gary arrived promptly. All work was completed to a high standard. They took the time to explain how to work the new windows etc and left the house clean and tidy. They were all really helpful, worked hard and are a credit to Vantage. I would have no hesitation in recommending Vantage!

Liz and I were looking for a glass room supplier installer and having checked out Vantage Windows and Doors reviews, met with Ernie at his showroom. We were immediately impressed, both by the professional approach of Ernie, and the products that he offers. A visit to our home followed, then Ernie's quote, and prior to our acceptance he invited us to his home to view his own glass room. We took up this option, and were very impressed. So fast forward 2-months to today (end April 2024) and the Deponti glass room is finished. Installation took 2-days, the fitting team were experienced, professional, paid attention to detail, and left everything clean, tidy and as it should be. What has been our overall impression? Great company, nothing was too much trouble, and importantly all promises were kept. Ernie cares about what he does and he does it well, key for us was if he said that he would do something, he did, if he said that he would call, he did. Great communications and customer care. Would we recommend Vantage Windows and Doors Ltd? Yes

Ernie came over for a quote and it took him about 15 minutes including some chatting to get an initial measurement. Afterwards I got sent a quote at a mid-of-the-range price. No up selling, no sales tricks. Just that. 3 or 4 months later I decided I was ready to go ahead with the work and chose Vantage out the 4 companies that gave me quotes. I chose them because of this extremely relaxed experience even though the weren't the cheapest . I had the work booked in and three fitters did the work (1 day for 8 windows). The double glazing windows have so far been amazing and very nice to look at. The 10 year guarantee is a nice addition for peace of mind. Can only recommend Vantage.

From beginning to end, the guys at Vantage where incredible, the initial measure up from Ernie, then John the Surveyor attended on time and got straight to it, then a little wait for the big day. On the morning of the installation we awoke to 2°C and light snow fall in March. The guys started in difficult wet and windy conditions and never stopped until the job was complete, they were polite, efficient, very thorough and completed a fabulous installation, cleaned up, gave a demo and left. Our neighbours have all commented on how good the windows and doors look and it's given us a real pride back in the building that was looking a little tired. The Anthracite colourway and quality of finish looks very high quality and matches perfectly with the exterior stonework. I cannot recommend the Vantage team highly enough and a special mention to the Installers the two David's and Gary.

Fantastic experience from start to finish with the Vantage team. From the initial meeting with Ernie, dealing with both Abbie and Stephanie in the office, the surveyor (sorry I forgot his name) and then David & David who completed the installation – every single one of them were so polite, professional and friendly. Ernie talked me through, and provide quotes for, the various options available to me and ensured I was content with my choices when I visited the showroom. At no point were there any pushy sales tactics which I really appreciated. The fitters, David & David, talked me through their process and then worked straight through to complete the installation. When they were done, they tidied everything up before talking me through the new window mechanisms and ensuring I was completely happy before I paid. I was so impressed with the whole team – from their friendly attitudes and great communication to the quality of their work - they also happened to be the cheapest of the quotes I got too! I would highly recommend Vantage.

My wife and I have been thinking of getting new windows for years, the problem has always been the sales approach. Time & time again you get a person who, makes themselves comfortable, comes up with a price on the spot and then claims they can't leave until you agree the deal. We then got a recommendation from a neighbour, Vantage.... turned out to be a brilliant tip. A charming but not pushy sales person, who left after taking measurements to then send us an accurate price a day later. The sales person also insisted we pop by their showroom in Bellshill so all the details of fixtures & fittings were ironed out. Fitting was then arranged, we got a father & son duo, who both work for Vantage (no 3rd party). They were friendly and professional, giving us a great finish and hoovered before they left. The best bit of all, they were half the price of all those stereotypical Double-Glazing sales people. We are truly chuffed with every element. Thank you Vantage.

Id sent over an enquiry via the website on a Sun over a holiday weekend, had the quote for both options of french doors by the Tues. We accepted the quote and a survey was promptly arranged to suit us. The fitter measured up and answered all my questions regarding render and plaster finish inside and out (Window being converted to french doors) Doors were ordered and installation dates agreed. The office communicated every step of the way and reminders sent the week before. David & David turned up promptly at 08:00, really friendly guys, checked everything was cut out to the spec and the doors were installed in no time. Everything was swept up, windows & PVC cleaned and made sure I was 100% happy before we paid. This is how all trades should be. Absolutely perfect and effortless to work with. Id highly recommend Vantage Windows.

Quote Experience was spot on no hassal simple 15 minutes max. Received the quote by 17:00 that day With all detail and pictures.(Ernie) I felt very comfortable and my decision was made. Accepted quote and it all went smoothly from there with an installation date set for 20/11/23. Installation day we had prepared and made space available. Danny and Scott rocked up nice guys Covered everything and got on with it.3 large window a door and glass partican . Come 18:00 Job done floors cleaned Walk through job well pleased.It was Amazing my wife was delighted.A few amendments made but Ernie handled it without fuss.

We were dreading approaching firms about window replacement as we had heard such horror stories from our friends. We extensively researched and came up with a short list. Vantage was number one on that list and, after the initial visit, we looked no further. There was none of the slick, hard sell we had feared, simply straight forward professionalism. We received a supersonic quick, detailed, very reasonable, quote then made a visit to the showroom, Two days later John the surveyor came and a short time after, our beautiful windows and back door were in place. Danny and Scott worked so hard and with much consideration. Without being asked they even removed moss and weeds from the stone window ledge and cleaned the street! We thank the whole team for their super efficiency. They were absolutely exemplary, making the thing we dreaded, a pleasure from start to finish. We love our new windows and door have already highly recommended Vantage to others. This firm is quite exceptional.

We had two doors and several downstairs windows replaced. We had been putting it off for a while as was expecting it to be hard work to get this job done. But I need not have worried as from the moment I made the first enquiry to the completion the whole process was so easy. They made suggestions on what doors and windows to have and they really worked well, everything was explained well and the installation was excellent. Could not recommend enough.

Cannot believe how simple, straight forward and easy dealing with Vantage Windows, Scotland Best Window & Door Company has been. Whilst Ernie was unavailable, Manager Stephanie attended our home and proved to be incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in providing the information we wanted. On return to office Ernie was quick to contact and invite us to the showroom where he personally talked us through all windows and doors on show. A last minute change of mind on door was no problem to Vantage, so showroom visit essential to fully appreciate the quality and choices available. Speedy installation was done over 1 & 1/2 days by 1st Class Fitters Danny & Scott who were professional, courteous, helpful and a credit to Vantage windows. Tidy workers with no mess left. A really professional job from a really professional company worthy of their many deserved accolades and awards. Absolutely delighted with our Top Quality Windows and the Crowning Glory Composite Door and will not hesitate to recommend Ernie and his dedicated Team to all. This is not the big upheaval that many people dread, in fact it was quick and easy, so don't put off if considering an upgrade. Big Thankyou to Vantage. Keep up the good work. 10/10.

Vantage are a breath of fresh air in terms of customer service. I contacted them on a Sunday morning when they were closed, and the owner Ernie contacted me with 3 hours the same day, set up an initial visit for the Tuesday morning and I had a detailed written quote about 3 hours later. They don't want you to accept a quote without seeing the quality products in their showroom first and there is no hard sell. Having decided to go ahead, the surveyor came out to remeasure everything, and I had an installation date set up. I received a reminder e.Mail the week beforehand and a call from one of the fitters the night before. The two fitters turned up at 07:45 am and worked tirelessly throughout the day. They covered the whole house in dust sheets and mats and were totally respectful of the house. They tidied and hoovered everything up, took away all the debris including my old blinds at my request. At the end of the installation the fitters talk you through everything, give you some tips on dos and don'ts; for example in the first 24 hours don't wipe any dust settling on the new sills as the sealant is still setting so if you disturb the dust it can stick to the sealant and make it dirty - I would not have thought of that! They also went into my downstairs neighbours back yard and swept up the small amount of inevitable debris created. You pay on completion and the bill was exactly as quoted. Great service. Would highly recommend.

We had 7 windows replaced by this company and cannot express how brilliant our experience has been from beginning to end. The service was very efficient. The fitters were excellent and the quality of the windows and the work carried out by the fitters was exceptional

I had a relatively small job of a kitchen door and window replacement. I had had multiple companies come out to give quotes and I was getting nowhere with each sales rep outdoing the previous one in terms of the time it took to deal with them and the ever exceeding quotes. Most of the quotes were all over the place and some did not even take my needs, wants or budget into consideration whilst still trying to upsell. I then had Vantage recommended to me by a family member who dealt with them a couple of years ago and has been left impressed. Ernie is definitely the face and the backbone of this operation. He has such a big personality and definitely knows how to close a deal. He has been an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish, very patient to show different door and window styles, designs and colours etc and answered all the questions, regardless how small or seemingly stupid. The doors and window were fitted perfectly without any issues and didn't even take the two fitters half a day to do it. They were in and out in about 4 hours! They left the place as clean as possible considering the size of the job. I am amazed at how big a difference a nice new door and window makes to the kitchen and will be looking to update some of the rest of the house in the near future! I will definitely be coming back to Vantage Windows and Doors for my future windows and doors needs, as I know that just like me they place a huge value on time and quality!

We replaced a window with French doors and I am one hundred percent happy with the work. At every stage they were helpful, honest, and polite. Ernie helped guide me through the early stages, even suggesting I might be able to get a local tradesmen cheaper ( I couldn't), and the boys that actually did the work were polite, hard working, and did a great job. Very happy and would highly recommend.

We had 10 windows and two doors replaced in two days. From our initial contact with Ernie we were delighted at how committed each member of his support team were. No question was too much, changes made to final choices with no quibble and no upselling or pressure of any kind throughout. From the friendly staff in the showroom to Jed the surveyor we got great guidance and assurance, we came away from every interaction feeling supported and confident that we were making the right choices. A special mention goes out to the fitters David and David who made the whole installation process look easy. Their friendly approach ensured they kept us informed and went above and beyond, fixing any issue that arose which didn’t necessitate them doing. They were the cleanest tradesmen we have had (just make sure you give them coffee :) ). Everyone who passes the house admires the new windows and doors and have even commented on how good David & David were at fitting the windows and doors and we have given out Vantages number already to neighbours. We were delighted to see Ernie win the Which award recently and that he took all his staff to the awards event, showing he cares for his staff. We couldn't recommend Ernie and his company enough.

FANTASTIC! Once again , we are absolutely delighted with Vantage Windows and doors. What a brilliant Job! Davie and David were Really Friendly , Tidy , profesional and the finished job looks amazing. What a difference. Today was the biggest job so Far with 3 bedroom windows, Kitchen, Bathroom and 2 hallway windows being replaced.
