I asked Vears to decorate our bedroom a few months ago, they did such a great job that I asked them to come back and decorate our living room, kitchen and hallway. I found Richard and his colleague Tom to be very personable, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Richard was very honest and professional during his initial assessment of the job, he also came up with some great ideas and was very supportive of all our requests throughout the work. Everything was completed on time and to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend Vears if you're thinking of having some decorating done. As they're one of the best in the South West, you'll want to book early as they always seem to be very busy. Thanks Richard and Tom!

Vears painted our dining room & lobby to a very high standard. Beforehand they quoted for the job and offered advice. The arrived on time, were totally professional and friendly. Excellent decorating our family home. Our job was carefully estimated with advice given plus a preparatory visit for precise measuring. A thoroughly professional, courteous and knowledgeable service throughout with no hidden surprises. Start and finish timetable were agreed and Richard's team were careful and considerate and arrived promptly as promised. A clean up at the end of each day was made. We have every intention of asking him to carry out further works in future. We thoroughly recommend.

Vears Decorating Ltd have just completely redecorated my large Victorian house. Richard was a pleasure to work with, and was extremely friendly and approachable. He took time to discuss the project with us, provide us with a timely quote and breakdown for each room, and recommend suitable paints and materials for the work. He was very clear about each stage of the work and the costs involved. He gave us a time frame for the completion of the work, and stuck to it. He and his team worked extremely hard, always turned up for work when they said they would and were tidy and methodical. The standard of finish was very high. I trusted them implicitly. We have used Richard Vears a number of times over the years for both interior and exterior work. Our latest encounter was last week and they have done another excellent job. The team is very professional and cheerful. They do an excellent job and leave the site tidy at the end of the day. I have no hesitation in trusting them in our house. Book early to avoid disappointment as they are always busy.

Vears have just completed painting the woodwork on the front of our house and our garage door. Mr Vear gave us a detailed description of the work which would be done and this was carried out as described. The workmen were very pleasant to deal with and did a careful job. We had to wait a little while for the job to start because of the poor weather earlier in the year but we are very pleased with the finished work.
