Toby gave us good advice when quoting for the work on our flat roof. His friendly team then carried out the work as specified to a very high standard, keeping us fully informed as it progressed. The bill was then exactly as quoted with no hidden extras. We are very pleased with the work and would thoroughly recommend Watford Roofing.

After hearing of the help we needed to modify our home for our disabled daughter and her siblings, Toby sent his guys an hour and a half each way, each day to complete our new pitched and flat roof. The guys were so lovely, even with what seemed like every season thrown their way. The roof looks amazing, our builders commented on their lead work, stating it’s the neatest they had ever seen!! I would highly recommend! They did such a wonderful job & tidied up before they left…perfect!!!

Watford Roofing renewed our roof and upgraded the insulation. This has improved the appearance of the house and improved its warmth. Adverse weather and delays in getting scaffolding delayed the start but once they had begun the team worked hard to complete the work even in difficult weather. They were good at consulting us on the details and cleared up after themselves. We are pleased with the result and would recommend them.

We used Watford Roofing to do some tiling repair work and replace a flat roof on a loft conversion. They will not be the cheapest quote you obtain but if you want the confidence of a high quality company with a very competent team of roofers then I would recommend them. Very impressed with the quality of work and the drive around the work area was kept clean, tidy and safe at all times.

We had our single storey extension roof replaced by Toby and his team and really pleased with the completed job. They also sorted out some leaky guttering that we had endured and a couple of masonry holes made by some previous builders that were inaccessible without the scaffolding. The 2 / 3 workers we had were polite, kept the site tidy and punctual. The invoice matched the quote, no hidden extras. Really good to find a reliable and trustworthy roofing business, well done and would use them again and again if needed.

Watford Roofing carried out a complete slate roof replacement for us (our roof was over 100 years old). After a wait for them to have time to carry out the work, they arrived on the day they promised and worked every day until the work was complete. All contact from the very beginning was friendly and honest, and I immediately trusted Toby the owner from my initial meeting. The 3 men who carried out the work were fantastic - very hardworking, taking a real pride in the work they do, and respectful around our house and garden (no blaring radio or loud shouty voices) - and very friendly. The work was done on budget, with a small addition requested by the building regs inspector. We had a couple of minor snags that were remedied within 10 days of the main work being completed. The roof looks great from the outside, and the inside too, with all insulation replaced, and also the layer inside the slate being replaced too. All in all, we are very happy with our new roof.

We have been very satisfied with the quality of the work. The workmen have been very friendly and have notified us if they have not been able to come on a particular day due to bad weather etc. They have tidied up at the end of each day and swept thoroughly at the end of the job. The estimate we had was considerably less than from another local company. We are happy to recommend this company to anyone.

I was recommended Watford Roofing by another delighted customer. They completely replaced my roof (felt, battens, slate and all lead work) which wasn't any easy task, given it comprises of 5 roofs intertwined with valleys and a lead flat roof. I realised that we needed a complete new roof on our house. Not knowing any roofing contractors or having any recommendations, I set about researching various companies and shortlisted three. After meeting with Toby from Watford Roofing Ltd and receiving their detailed, comprehensive quote, I agreed to them doing the work. I felt confident that they would deliver for me. And so it proved. The team arrived each day on time, worked hard, and always tidied up at the end of the day. Roofing materials used were always of the highest quality. The team were always friendly and easy to have around. I’m usually a little reticent to make recommendations, in case other people’s expectations are not met, however I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Watford Roofing Ltd to anyone looking to get quality roofing work done at a very fair price. One thing that I hadn’t considered when starting out, that I now realise, is that by having a smart new tiled roof fitted, we have probably increased the value of our property by far more that the cost of the work itself.

What work did they do? We engaged Watford Roofing to replace our Garage flat roof in 2016. It was completed to time and budget which was actually quite reasonable. The quality of work and expertise was excellent. We also got a 20 year warranty. We noticed a leak that we attributed to the soil pipe, which unfortunately went right through the garage roof. What was remarkable was the response from Watford Roofing saying of course they would repair it under the warranty. The subsequent 'repair' in fact turned out to be a complete replacement, 4 lads over 3 days no less. We then got another 20 year warranty, additional cover from the manufacturers too. The finished work was to a very high standard, as well as being an outstanding example of a builder / roofer standing by their work, no questions and no hassle. Most refreshing. Would we use Toby and Watford Roofing again? 100 percent yes.

I had a personal recommendation to seek a repair to the front apex of my roof (where birds had been nesting) from Watford Roofing. I received a very reasonable professional quote from the owner Toby Corrie which detailed the work required. Toby assured me his company would indeed do small repairs, fitting mine in between major work. I am elderly and disabled and he gave me every consideration and ensured his workers also gave me every consideration. Communication was by text or phone so I was advised in advance of when scaffolders would come and when the work would start. The workers were very professional, polite and considerate and the site was left clean and tidy. Was it within budget? Toby came personally to explain that the condition of the section of front apex of the roof requiring repair was not as bad as anticipated and reduced the cost on the final invoice! I am very pleased to give my personal experience as a positive review to add to those 5* reviews already given.

I have used Watford Roofing Ltd on two separate occasions to replace flat roofing above my dormer windows at my property. On both occasions I have been more than satisfied with every aspect of the work carried out. I have found that Mr Corrie to be a very easy person to deal with in respect to advice and costings etc.. Also, I have found his workmen to be hard working and that they pay attention to detail and have pride in their work. All the way through on both jobs I was always kept up to date on progress and any problems that needed to be dealt with. On both occasions work was completed within the estimated time and the site was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. I have no hesitation in recommending Watford Roofing Ltd to anyone.

Having had quotes and visits from 2 other companies, I am so pleased I chose Watford Roofing. Toby turned up at the time he said he would, discussed the repairs I had in mind and made very practical suggestions as to how it could be achieved. The very reasonable quote arrived the following day. His tradesmen were pleasant, polite and professional. They arrived each morning with a smile and advised what would be achieved that day. Came round quickly to give a quote and was able to fix the roof within a few days. It was the cheapest quote of those I was given. Turned up early on the day.

Wonderful service, from the first meeting to assess the work required through to completion of works. The guys were extremely polite, jovial, punctual and pleasant. They explained everything thoroughly before starting any task, asked if we were happy for them to go ahead or if we wanted to change anything as they went along. When they finished for the day they would show us what they had done that day and explained what they would be doing the following day. They tidied up after each days work and on completion cleared the site of all rubbish. We can't recommend Watford Roofing highly enough, we shall certainly use them again and will pass their name to family and friends. High praise for the work and look of our property from our neighbours.
