9 days ago I emailed Bilal to ask whether he could visit me to advise me about replacing the pressure vessel on my unusual French boiler which had been losing pressure. He replied the next day and said that he would be happy to visit me the following week. In the meantime, I found that the boiler was showing an unexpected fault. I sent details to Bilal, and I told him that I had been able to get the boiler working again by pressing the reset button. Bilal visited me today, on his way home from another job. As soon as I opened the door to welcome Bilal, he immediately started to ask about the history of my unique 1865 cottage in a secret garden. We could have talked all day, but he told me that his family meal was waiting for him at his home which is 3 miles away from my home. He carefully removed the cover from the boiler and gave it a thorough inspection. He advised me to monitor the boiler every day and let him know if any fault messages appear on the display. He also advised me to keep a log of the pressure. He then told me that I wouldn’t need to pay a call out charge because he was on his way home, and he had thoroughly enjoyed the experience of my unique cottage! In the short time that he was here, it was clear that he is a highly knowledgeable professional with a wide range of experience, as well as being genuinely friendly and good humoured. I’m looking forward to welcoming Bilal again.
