Steve installed an electric car charger. All the approval work with the electricity board was sorted by Steve in advance. He turned up on time and did a really neat and tidy job fitting the charger flush to the uneven stone wall. Steve was a nice bloke and the invoice was for the agreed amount. No hesitation in recommending.

Great service from a trusted professional
Steve has worked with us on an elabourate rebuild of our property that has taken place over the course of two and a half years, and which is still underway. He's re-wired the entire house and fitted various new sockets, light fittings, access points and data cables, including fitting out a large media wall and hanging several large TVs around the house. He's become trusted partner and someone we also consider a friend, who we trust implictly, and often leave with a key to work on the property if we're not around. He really knows his stuff and will always give his advice on the best solution when we encounter a problem or unforseen situation. it's been a long and winding road so it's reassuring to have someone we can trust to help with the electrical elements. Highly recommended.

Steve fitted an EV charger for me this week. Genuinely couldn’t overstate the quality of work and service. Steve’s pre job communication is excellent. Work is completed promptly and efficiently on the date and time specified. The site is left exactly as you would wish to find it. He’s easily the tidiest tradesman we’ve ever had in our home. Not knowing the traders in this field, I picked Steve out of the ether and have been really lucky. He replaced and increased the sockets in our workshop area, and then the main board, tested them all and advised on future maintenance. Have used Wellselec on previous occasions so was prepared for the work being done to a very high standard. He installed an outdoor EV charger to the fuse box which he had replaced on a previous job. Steve fitted a pendant light and switch to a room which had no central light. He came out to check the work required and clearly explained the work involved. Steve arrived promptly to carry out the work and completed it in good time, clearing up any mess. I contacted Steve due to having no hot water. He said he would try to get to me that afternoon and he did! He quickly assessed what was wrong and fixed it. He also re-set the timings on the unit itself so the water is heated up in 4 hours as opposed to 7 which will save me money on my energy bills over the long term. He was punctual, friendly and informative. How refreshing to get a Tradesman you can trust and to be verified by Which? gives you extra peace of mind that he will do a job well. I would recommend Steve without hesitation.

Steve is a very friendly and competent electrician. In the past he re-wired our house and I was impressed at how neatly the job was done. Whenever a tradesperson would come round to the house, they would comment on how well the old cables had been chased! Most recently, a joiner accidentally nailed through an electrical cable for our bathroom light, and Steve was out within 24 hours to fix the problem. He explained all the different options for fixing it, and discussed with us first, before doing another great job. If you’re looking for a great electrician that you can trust, look no further.
