A brilliant service from start to finish. They took down 3 large conifers & another tree plus bushes & arrived on time, were very efficient & left the garden clean & tidy. Very good price for cutting back three trees. Both guys were very friendly, professional and efficient. (And, brilliantly compared to some other experiences, arrived exactly when they said they would!) Ben and Darren came today to cut back our very old and in much need of attention one hundred and fifty year old Oak tree. It was a big job. They were incredibly professional and worked flat out to get the best results This company comes highly recommended by us. The service was wonderful. Very quick to respond to our query and the work was carried out to a very high level. There was nothing to clean up afterwards. All taken care of. Top class. Contacted Daniel at West Country Trees as we were let down by another well known tree surgeon in the area. He was professional and friendly providing a detailed estimate within 2 days. Catrin, the office manager kept us fully up to date with the proposed works and even managed to bring the date forward by a week. The team of 6 were punctual, helpful, considerate and friendly. Particular care had to be taken as we have a chicken house directly underneath the tree and access to it was limited. Everything was removed leaving the area tidy when they had finished. The invoice was exactly the same as the estimate which was very fair in view of the amount of manual labour involved. A big thank you to the whole team at West Country Trees and more than happy to recommend them.

Needed four large trees removed, two pruning back, and other large shrubs and vegetation clearing prior to demolition work. Also the complications of a conservation area and area of outstanding natural beauty. They advised on additional planning permissions required and fixed those. Good communication. Having heard that the lead time was around six weeks, when one of our trees fell across our driveway and became entangled in the conifer opposite, we were concerned that the drive would be obstructed for some time as it happened in the Christmas break. However when the team returned after their break, they were able to arrange a very swift response. The work was done efficiently and the site was left clean enough for normal use to resume immediately. Thank you to all involved!

The team turned up promptly and did a quite excellent job for us. We needed the dense epicormic growth on three large lime trees removed. Both men were friendly, responsive to our requests, efficient, amazingly quiet (they used mostly handsaws), and left the garden looking tidier than it has been for long time!

This company was requested to trim high beech hedges and remove overgrown elder tree. They carried out this work to my great satisfaction on the day specified and on budget. I have been dealing with this firm since 2014 when I met Daniel Potter for the first time. He knows his job, and certainly someone I could trust to look after my garden of trees. This time I had a lot that needed doing, from removal , to the pruning of my nearly 60 year old Magnolia, and even older Birch tree in the back garden. When the work was completed, all was left neat and tidy, and the nesting birds in the Lilac trees, were not disturbed. Once again, I would recommend this group of Tree Surgeons to anyone who loves, and appreciates their Trees!

From initial call, to arranging the work done, to completion, was just brilliant. Catrin is great, as were the lads that did the job, very professional and very courteous. All chippings and residue from cutting the tree down, was removed from site You cannot tell a tree was ever there, they covered over the removed stump site too. Price was less than expected. Highly recommend this company.
