The team were very professional cutting back a row of Leylandii that were blocking light into our garden. They made sure I was happy throughout the work and left the site clean and tidy. The quoted price was very reasonable.

I had some very high and thick Leylandii trees at the bottom of my garden cut down and the stumps ground down to below earth level. The work was delayed not due to any fault on the part of this company but because of the coronavirus! On the schedule was agreed the workers arrived on time and made a superb job of the task in hand. They were very careful of the rest of my garden and cleaned up perfectly after they had finished. I would have no reservations about recommending this company to anyone wanting to have any tree work done. This is the second time I have employed this company to do tree work for me and I am sure there will be a third occasion.

West Country Tree Services removed an overgrown Hazel tree and its stump. They had a handy small stump grinder that they could bring through the house as we have no separate garden access. They were professional, courteous, tidy and efficient. The work took an hour or two. The job was done to a quoted price.

I was very impressed with the work carried out by West Country tree services and I will certainly be using them again in the future. I requested a quote for the removal of two trees. I then had to request that the work was carried out quickly as it hindered other work that I needed done due to the storm. Catrin was very helpful and managed to fit the removal of the two trees in quickly and the two men who carried out the work were polite, friendly and extremely efficient. They did the work in a few hours and removed all branched etc with no trace of a mess. A fantastic job. A few weeks later we arranged a date for the crown reduction of my large willow tree and a reduction of my bat tree. Again the two men who carried out the work were extremely friendly and very hard working and again no trace of the work was left. All 4 men representing the company were an asset to the company and I cannot praise them enough. Finally the price was less than I was expecting and I was more than happy with the quotes. I had a very overgrown hedge/shrub border that needed to be hard pruned back. Also, a large acer that needed to be topped and shaped by 25-30%. Having had trouble getting a serious quote from others I was not hopeful when asking for a quote from Westcountry Tree Services; I needn't have worried. They came round very promptly and I had a fully prepared and written quote, with photographs (no one else took photos), within 15 minutes. The quote was very competitive and they could do the work within a couple of weeks. On the day they turned up on time, were courteous and friendly and were keen to make sure that I was going to get what I wanted. They did a good job and tidied up well afterwards. A big plus is that there is an employed admin person who makes sure that you are not left waiting for a response to any issues. I would definitely recommend them and they will be my first port of call in the future for similar work.

We engaged West Country Tree Services to manage a tree which was shading our greenhouse. Daniel responded promptly to our request for a quote and during his visit suggested various management approaches with their appropriate pros, cons and costs. We decided upon a complete removal and the quote arrived within minutes. When the team arrived on the appointed day they introduced themselves and undertook a survey of the site and access routes. Very quickly they started work and were extremely impressive in the way in which their method soon completed the felling. The subsequent clean up was thorough and quick. One pane of the greenhouse was broken and after one 'phone call compensation was paid in cash. Altogether a super job and great result.

The team arrived very punctually and were very polite. The work was carried out as described and agreed on the initial consultation. Our garden was left very tidy with all shrubbery and leaves cleaned up. I was very satisfied with the work and have no problem in recommending West Country Tree Services.

Done to agreed schedule and budget, great price for such a professional service. Very helpful and I felt I could just let them get on with it, and they did. We've used WCTSL previously and they’ve done a fantastic job each time. On 17th Jan 2019 the two Guys were excellent and certainly know their stuff. They were due 8.30 am and we’re here well before to start on the dot. Some of the upper branches cut away were at least 12 feet high. Our tree looks great and even with 30% reduction we still have a lovely Silver Birch drooping shape. Very efficient service and all branches mulched on site with great machinery to do this... everything was cleared away and left neat and tidy. Highly recommend this Company and it’s team.

We were delighted with all our dealings with this company. The initial advice, explanation of options and corresponding quotes were professionally done and clearly laid out. They are clearly very successful as it was not possible to schedule the work for a short time but, having agreed a date, they came as promised and did the work rapidly and effectively. And the price seemed very reasonable for the work done. We would confidently recommend this company.

The team sent to carry out the work, were quick and efficient. They were polite and friendly and very professional. They left my garden clean and tidy. I would recommend this company to anyone and will definately be using them again.

Daniel's team arrived and completed the work within an hour. Cleared up so not a twig was left and even cut the main trunk into 600mm logs for my neighbour so they could use them for wood carving.

Daniel came on the date agreed and he and his mate removed the two trees, ground out the stumps and tidied up, all in about an hour. When they left there was not so much as a single twig left on the lawn. At the price they quoted (lower than everyone else) it was great value for a great job. I thoroughly recommend West Country Tree Services as a company to trust.

Daniel and his team spent 3 days changing our garden from over grown with bushes, brambles and trees to a blank canvas. Over 20 trees (leylandii) were cut down, with the stumps removed, all waste removed. The brambles and bushes had been partly removed by us, however Daniel and his team then mulched what was left and the roots. Great team, would highly recommend. Now looking forward to the spring to plant some new trees and shrubs.

We had a long Leylandii hedge removed and the stumps ground. As previous reviews state, the work was carried out efficiently and all mess cleared up very thoroughly. An excellent job, wouldn't hesitate to use them again. We were impressed!
