We’ve used Tim and his team twice now, they are polite and very professional and we are very happy with the quality of the finish.

The reviews on here are all well deserved for WLC. I recently had two built in wardrobes completed by Tim and his excellent team, Steve and Zortan, the carpenter and painter. You really do get what you pay for. Although bespoke carpentry is not inexpensive, it is really worth it in the longer term because the quality speaks for itself. It took 5 days for the paint work - both internal and external to the wardrobe - to be completed and the detail shines through. To top it all they are a bunch of really nice, considerate and thoughtful professionals and that was a cherry on the pie for me. Values mean so much. I am budgeting for another installation from WLC because their work is such high quality. Thanks you Tim and team!

Tim and his team from were so efficient. Sending wonderful drawings and updated drawings to make sure it was exactly how I wanted. The installation date was sooner than I had expected and the carpenter and decorator that came were a pleasure to have in my flat. They were really nice guys, hard working and so respectful of my home. Previous experience with decorators etc has not been so good but this really couldn’t have been smoother and more professional. Tim and his team made beautiful bespoke cupboards and shelves in our living room. We went back and forth a few times until we were happy with the design. We weren't completely sure of what we wanted, but Tim was very patient with us and helped us design a piece that we absolutely love. The carpentry and painting team is incredibly professional. We are happy to have found this company for our project. They did a tricky, neatly fitted storage/wardrobe unit for us and it turned out exactly the way we wanted. We used WL Carpentry for a small storage unit in our kitchen which was in an awkward space. It was very difficult to find someone to do it at a reasonable price given that it was a small job but still needed to be fitted to the space. They came, measured it, design it, built it and paint it, all at a competitive price. I was impressed by the extremely professional and friendly people. We love our storage unit. We would definitely recommend them.

Tim and the team have just completed a fitted wardrobe for our new flat. The quality of the finished product is better than expected and the entire process has been very smooth and efficient. Clear communication from the beginning. The project was designed and sent to us by email to review prior to a site visit to confirm measurements. The work started as expected and was completed ahead of schedule. The workmen were respectful in our home and clean. All mess was cleaned up as they went along and at the end. The final product was very professional. Nicely finished and painted to a high standard. Overall, we are very happy. The book case was not cheap, but it will be a lasting feature of our house and will add value. We would recommend to friends and family

The design process was efficient and detailed, with many iterations before we settled on the final design - which we still tweaked during the build, such was the flexibility of the team. Requirement was for a large built in wardrobe incorporating shelving, hanging space, drawers and sliding mirrored doors. The entire service from drawings, site survey, build of the wardrobe and painting was excellent. The work was slotted in at short notice ahead of schedule and was all done in a week and to budget. We have just had a TV unit, a fitted wardrobe and modifications to an existing wardrobe made by West London Carpentry and Decoration. I cannot praise them enough. The workmanship and finish were excellent. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We contacted West London Carpentry after we’d had a disappointing experience with another decorator who had ruined all of our built-in custom MDF bedroom furniture. The quote we got from West London Carpentry was very competitive considering they also had to undo all of the previous decorator’s poor attempts. I had a detailed conversation with Tim about what we wanted and what the previous guy had done and I felt so reassured by Tim that they could fix it and give us what we wanted - and we weren’t disappointed. We had a look at their Instagram of previous work and we knew WLC knew exactly what they were doing. Kris did a fantastic job repairing and redecorating all the woodwork. Even just half way through it was a vast improvement on what had been done previously. It was so professional that not once did we have any issues during the work and when it was finished we were absolutely delighted with his work. Kris worked so hard, and even repainted the skirting and door frame for us as a freebie. We were in contact with Tim throughout and he was super helpful and went out of his way to assist us. We can’t thank Kris and Tim enough for the fantastic job they did. Our only regret is that we didn’t find them first! We will definitely use WLC again in future and would 100% recommend to anyone.

We contacted West London Carpentry & Decoration to build us an Alcove Unit (Base Cabinet & Bookcase). We checked various local traders, reviewed galleries of their work and contacted them to get an estimate. West London Carpentry & Decoration were great throughout the whole process: they replied to our initial contact promptly. The job was done within schedule (from our initial communications they made it clear that installation would happen after Christmas, so there were no surprises), and the price was as budgeted. They worked neatly, and the alcove looks great. It took us a year to post this review, which is a shame, since we've been happily enjoying the unit for this long without any issues! We'll contact them again for other carpentry jobs!

We chose WLC to create 1 large fitted shelving/cupboard unit, and some floating shelves & cupboards in another room. We went with them because their quote was competitive and included not just the carpentry but also all the decorating (other carpentry firms we talked to did not include this). The service was exceptional - Tim, Laszlo and their team are so friendly, their attention to detail is fantastic, and they go the extra mile to understand exactly we wanted and make sure the work was finished to a very high spec. Everything went to plan, the work was carried out on time, and they were very tidy during the installation and decoration (it was a big job and we have 2 small kids, so the tidiness at the end of each day really helped ease the stress of having work done). We will be using them again. Highly recommended - we are very happy we chose them!

We are looking for carpenters to build floor to ceiling bookcases and some floating shelves in our spare bedroom. After contacting a few different carpentry companies with not even a reply, we came across Tim and his team on Instagram. Tim replied our request within a couple of hours, and booked us in for a measuring and quote. Laszlo arrived at our house on time, listened to what we wanted to do, and also added on his professional opinion. We received the first draft of drawings within in the next 48 hours, we made small changes and everything was ready to go. During the installation and decoration, both the carpenter and the decorator always arrived on time. They were both very friendly and professional, they took great care in details, and even fixed a few small bits inside the room to make sure everything looks perfect. We are so pleased with Tim and his team, we will definitely contact them again in the future! Delighted with the floor-to-ceiling bespoke bookshelves Tim and his team built in my East Putney flat. Impressed right from the start at how much time and care Laszlo spent, checking the size of my books and how to accommodate them before deciding on shelf depth. The walls had some beams sticking out which he accommodated. He took time discussing all of this with me. They ended up completing the project while I was on holiday and I was more than happy to leave them with keys and come home to find everything finished to perfection. Will definitely be using this company again!

A friend recommended West London Carpentry and Decoration and I'm glad I used them. They made, fitted and decorated some battened shelves in a fireplace alcove, a custom radiator shelf to my design, and assembled, fitted and decorated some pre-made radiator covers. WLC replaced the doors on several existing fitted wardrobes. The team were fantastic throughout. Communication was swift & easy before and during the work. I'm very pleased with the work these guys have recently completed in my hallway - a shoe and cloaks cupboard with bench and a bespoke storage cupboard. They interpreted my (very rough) outline drawings perfectly and the end result is just as I'd hoped. Communication was good and the work ethos of the whole team has been second to none. West London carpentry made and painted a fitted unit in our new loft. We had requested an unusual design with fitted cupboards separated by removable shelving units on wheels (to provide access to our eaves space) Tim provided some great ideas on the design and the carpenters and decorator did a fantastic job creating the unit. They were efficient, clean and tidy. We are really pleased with the finished unit and definitely recommend WL carpentry.

I was lucky to find West London Carpentry on line ... they were very easy to work with and responsive particularly as our project evolved - but in a short time our flat has been transformed. Their time in the flat was practically invisible - we were able to work in adjoining rooms and hardly noticed.

An excellent job done of building cupboards under the eaves of a Victorian house where none of the angles are quite straight. This is the second time I have used West London Carpentry and I highly recommend them.

I got in touch with West London Carpentry after a previous builder abandoned the job - I wish I had found them to begin with! They did a beautiful job picking up the existing plans for custom-designed painted shelving and cupboards with an integrated ash desk top, and accommodating my last-minute requests for modifications. It's been the single biggest project of my renovation, so I'm very glad to feel the final result was worth it.

Tim and his team have just completed renovating our loft room. We are delighted with the finished product. At every stage of the process we found the company to be easy and straight forward to deal with. Pricing was fair and the craftsmanship was of a high standard.

Tim and his team were asked to supply, fit and decorate living room shelves for three alcoves including wall-hanging our TV, putting in some sound insulation, drilling holes for speaker cables and also fitting a fantastic black oak worktop as a shelf in our bathroom. Everyone was friendly, professional and very happy to answer questions and tailor the work to our demands. The end product looks amazing with a high quality finish to the paint work.

They built 5 separate carpentry projects in the - a large TV bookcase, added shelves to existing wardrobes, built in bookshelves, and added a hidden door to gain access to space under the stairs. We had a few tweaks to make to the drawings but this was no problem and new drawings were issued promptly. The guys who did the installation were tidy, polite and cleaned up at the end of each day. I'm delighted with the wall units Tim's team put in: cupboards and book-shelving in a study. The start was a little delayed (though that did not matter much to me) but when it began everything went so smoothly and was very quickly and cleanly done. They all took great pains to solve niggling little problems of detail in order to produce a lovely finish. Worth every penny. I'm having WLC back in a few months to make a built-in wardrobe in another room!
