We contacted West London Carpentry after we’d had a disappointing experience with another decorator who had ruined all of our built-in custom MDF bedroom furniture. The quote we got from West London Carpentry was very competitive considering they also had to undo all of the previous decorator’s poor attempts. I had a detailed conversation with Tim about what we wanted and what the previous guy had done and I felt so reassured by Tim that they could fix it and give us what we wanted - and we weren’t disappointed. We had a look at their Instagram of previous work and we knew WLC knew exactly what they were doing. Kris did a fantastic job repairing and redecorating all the woodwork. Even just half way through it was a vast improvement on what had been done previously. It was so professional that not once did we have any issues during the work and when it was finished we were absolutely delighted with his work. Kris worked so hard, and even repainted the skirting and door frame for us as a freebie. We were in contact with Tim throughout and he was super helpful and went out of his way to assist us. We can’t thank Kris and Tim enough for the fantastic job they did. Our only regret is that we didn’t find them first! We will definitely use WLC again in future and would 100% recommend to anyone.

We contacted West London Carpentry & Decoration to build us an Alcove Unit (Base Cabinet & Bookcase). We checked various local traders, reviewed galleries of their work and contacted them to get an estimate. West London Carpentry & Decoration were great throughout the whole process: they replied to our initial contact promptly. The job was done within schedule (from our initial communications they made it clear that installation would happen after Christmas, so there were no surprises), and the price was as budgeted. They worked neatly, and the alcove looks great. It took us a year to post this review, which is a shame, since we've been happily enjoying the unit for this long without any issues! We'll contact them again for other carpentry jobs!

We had three lots of fitted wardrobes designed and built, for which we obtained a number of quotes. West London Carpentry offered good value, were very professional and had fantastic customer reviews. We have been delighted with the results of their work. The wardrobes are well made and look beautiful. I will be recommending them to friends and family.

We chose WLC to create 1 large fitted shelving/cupboard unit, and some floating shelves & cupboards in another room. We went with them because their quote was competitive and included not just the carpentry but also all the decorating (other carpentry firms we talked to did not include this). The service was exceptional - Tim, Laszlo and their team are so friendly, their attention to detail is fantastic, and they go the extra mile to understand exactly we wanted and make sure the work was finished to a very high spec. Everything went to plan, the work was carried out on time, and they were very tidy during the installation and decoration (it was a big job and we have 2 small kids, so the tidiness at the end of each day really helped ease the stress of having work done). We will be using them again. Highly recommended - we are very happy we chose them!

We are looking for carpenters to build floor to ceiling bookcases and some floating shelves in our spare bedroom. After contacting a few different carpentry companies with not even a reply, we came across Tim and his team on Instagram. Tim replied our request within a couple of hours, and booked us in for a measuring and quote. Laszlo arrived at our house on time, listened to what we wanted to do, and also added on his professional opinion. We received the first draft of drawings within in the next 48 hours, we made small changes and everything was ready to go. During the installation and decoration, both the carpenter and the decorator always arrived on time. They were both very friendly and professional, they took great care in details, and even fixed a few small bits inside the room to make sure everything looks perfect. We are so pleased with Tim and his team, we will definitely contact them again in the future! Thank you so much for making a could-have-been very stressful process very straightforward and stress-free! Now we can go set up our home library!

Delighted with the floor-to-ceiling bespoke bookshelves Tim and his team built in my East Putney flat. Impressed right from the start at how much time and care Laszlo spent, checking the size of my books and how to accommodate them before deciding on shelf depth. The walls had some beams sticking out which he accommodated. He took time discussing all of this with me. They ended up completing the project while I was on holiday and I was more than happy to leave them with keys and come home to find everything finished to perfection. Will definitely be using this company again!

WLC built cabinet and shelving units in two alcoves either side of a chimney breast. The service and advice was very good from the first meeting. The quality of the work was excellent, and we are very happy with the result.

A friend recommended West London Carpentry and Decoration and I'm glad I used them. They made, fitted and decorated some battened shelves in a fireplace alcove, a custom radiator shelf to my design, and assembled, fitted and decorated some pre-made radiator covers. Tim was very efficient, friendly and helpful, and his team all the same and very respectful and clean and tidy. I would use this company again and would recommend to others.

We have now used Tim and his crew twice to build closets and alcove shelving and we have nothing but praise for the timing, quality and price of their work. I had a shelving put up in my new-build flat that has extremely limited space (the downside of new-builds!) Lazlo was great at suggesting all possible ways of getting more space through shelving and the carpenter that came to install was really fast and professional. WLC replaced the doors on several existing fitted wardrobes. The team were fantastic throughout. Communication was swift & easy before and during the work. The work was completed to a high standard and the area’s kept as tidy and clean at the end of each day. Overall, I’m very pleased with the end product and highly recommend them.

I'm very pleased with the work these guys have recently completed in my hallway - a shoe and cloaks cupboard with bench and a bespoke storage cupboard. They interpreted my (very rough) outline drawings perfectly and the end result is just as I'd hoped. Communication was good and the work ethos of the whole team has been second to none. They are, without exception, courteous, tidy, skilful and extremely hard working and I can't recommend them highly enough.

We are absolutely delighted with our wardrobes and so impressed with how quickly both the carpenters and painters worked. They were extremely polite, turned up in good time in the mornings and put in a full day's work. They also ensured that they hoovered up each evening and tidied everything away as best they could. It's so rare these days to see such a fantastic work ethic and standard of service with an amazing high end quality of product. West London carpentry made and painted a fitted unit in our new loft. We had requested an unusual design with fitted cupboards separated by removable shelving units on wheels (to provide access to our eaves space) Tim provided some great ideas on the design and the carpenters and decorator did a fantastic job creating the unit. They were efficient, clean and tidy. We are really pleased with the finished unit and definitely recommend WL carpentry.

I was lucky to find West London Carpentry on line ... they were very easy to work with and responsive particularly as our project evolved - but in a short time our flat has been transformed. Their time in the flat was practically invisible - we were able to work in adjoining rooms and hardly noticed.
