After leaving a phone message as my initial attempt to contact wwes,I was impressed with how promptly Jenny got back to me. An appointment was made for a survey,unusually in my experience in w.Wales this was carried out at exactly the time agreed,by a friendly and knowledgeable guy.(having grown up in London it is not often I find myself praising an ex Met copper) Subsequently Mikael and Ben arrived on time did the work in a totally professional, and friendly manner. I may have been able to get a cheaper quote but I have no regrets in going with WWES. Thank you.

We got in contact with West Wales Electrical given the numerous 5 star reviews they have received on line and have to say we were both equally impressed with the service received and the work completed to rectify our electrical issue. By way of background in late January we started to experience an issue with our consumer unit (fuse box) tripping. We managed to get hold of a local electrician who managed to disable a number of of sockets in the property to act as a temporary fix but he didn’t seem keen to take a detailed look in to problem other than say we had we probably suffered an welcome visitor in the loft who may nibbled some of the wiring. He advised that probably would a partial rewire of the bungalow to the solve the problem and said that we would need a couple of electricians working on site for a minimum of 2 days and gave us a verbal ball park estimate of £3,000. As we felt uncomfortable with the advice and the potential costs we decided to get in touch with West Wales Electrical and are so glad we did. Our electrician John has been absolutely great over his 2 scheduled visits and has worked tirelessly up in loft to rectify the problem with the wiring resulting in all the sockets now working without tripping the fuse box. John also found time to install permanent lighting in the loft area prior to our builders boarding the area last Friday We were charged £492.29 in total for all the work completed which we felt was really competitive.

I'm very happy with the professional service from West Wales Electrical Solutions. I emailed a photo of my ancient "1970's cartridge style" fusebox that I wanted to replace. Jenny replied the same day to say they could do the work at my location (near Aberystwyth). The following day I received a detailed and reasonable quote for replacement with a modern RCBO consumer unit. A date was booked and a week or so later John arrived as planned to do the work. He worked non-stop all day and did a fantastic job. I especially like the use of shoe covers to protect the flooring when entering the house :) Installation is very tidy and the circuits fully checked with all the clever gadgets that professionals have. There was an existing fault on the neutral side of the kitchen sockets ring, which John efficiently tracked down to a loose junction box terminal in the roof. The new underfloor heating circuits that were on separate RCD's were included into the new unit. The new consumer unit makes me feel much better with the modern safety devices and knowing that all the older wiring has been checked and passed in good condition. The final invoice came in slightly less than the quote, despite the issue that needed resolving. I would definitely recommend WWES to anyone in need of electrical work.

We had a car charger fitted by WWES. Getting a quote and booking in the appointment was extremely easy, and Jenny, the person I dealt with, was very lovely. The electrician arrived promptly and did the job, and I received the quote a few hours later. Fantastic service.

An electrician from West Wales Electrical Solutions arrived on time, ran through the work he was there to carry out ( I had an existing cooker de-commissioned and new cooker installed) and promptly got to work. He answered my questions clearly. We discussed checking the new cooker out to maximum capacity which he duly did, in my presence. He supported the cooker delivery chaps to ensure the complete job was carried out to my satisfaction. He even noted a missing screw on the new cooker prior to it being moved into place. I would very happily use them again for any electrical needs. The customer service when arranging my appointment date/time was superb too. I was kept informed at all times.

WWES have done multiple jobs for me including straightforward wiring and installation of services into a summerhouse and shed. I have always found them to be courteous and professional but their quality and attention to detail is what stands out. I only moved to the area very recently and had no knowledge of the tradespeople here. I asked the village Facebook page for comments on reliable electricians and was recommended West Wales Electrical Solutions because they were honest with their pricing and competent at their job. I wanted a large new shed lit and supplied with power and an existing garage upgraded in lighting and power. I phoned in October because I needed the job booked in for dates which coincided with the shed being built on 20th November. A lady with whom I dealt on the phone was super efficient as we talked through the need for someone to come and assess what had to be done followed by actually arriving to do the job. On the 22nd of November the job was assessed and on the following Tuesday it was done! It was all carried out with calm professionalism by 2 electricians who could not have been more sensible and who did an extremely neat job of which I am super pleased. The bill came a couple of days later. It was itemised and complete and reasonable. I also received all the required documentation to show what was done and all the checks that were carried out to make it safe.

We had a Hive installed and 2 lights (1 in a vaulted ceiling) The electrician completed all work efficiently and with no fuss which we normally expect as the property is 160 years old. We are really happy with the outcome. We have used West Wales Electrical before and will use them again.

We moved into our new home that whilst only 19 years old had quite a lot of updating required and changes to work carried out subsequently by the previous owner. We have had West Wales Electrical Solutions here on a number of days to make the changes needed. They have been first class in every way, Michael, their Technician, is extremely helpful and carries out his work very efficiently and is very good at providing electrical advice. He was also very pleasant and courteous as well as being very good at handling the foibles of elderly, newly moved clients. Making appointments for visits has been very easy and the entire experience with this Company has been excellent.

We have used West Wales electrical solutions on 2 occasions now the most recent being sorting out a problem with outside lights which kept tripping, the first being an installation of a new consumer unit. On both occasions communications were efficient and friendly, they turned up on time and were pleasant to deal with. The electricians worked quickly and neatly and gave us a feeling of competence and wanting to do a good job. We have no hesitation in recommending them.
