I contacted Paul through the trusted traders scheme Because our main lock was becoming tricky & I had concerns about two other locks He responded quickly and asked if it was an emergency I said it wasn’t And He came three days later(He offered to come sooner, but that did not suit us). He identified the problem with the main lock as the barrel which he Replaced there and then. The second lock just needed maintenance and was fine after he had done that The third lock was between the house and the garage- It was not very secure and he ordered a lock to give us more protection which he came back and installed the next day, as well as servicing all the locks He was extremely pleasant throughout. he Explained what he was doing very carefully s And made sure we understood He Also gave us a great deal of helpful advice about being more secure My husband and I would thoroughly recommend him.!

I was occasionally finding myself locked in and/or locked out! The mechanism was not working properly. Paul came and quickly identified the issue. Despite the mechanism not being of a standard type, he was able to source a replacement, travelled to get it and replaced the faulty one all in the same morning. It is now working wonderfully. His charge was very reasonable and he was very helpful and made sure that I saw and understood what the problem was. I would highly recommend him.

I emailed Paul on Sunday night and he came back to me straight away. He came to my house on Monday morning, sorted the problem very quickly and at a price that seemed reasonable. I was very happy with his service.

We had some issues with our back door for a while, which got worse and worse over time and with changes with weather - until a point where it was very difficult to close. We also had some problems with the front door, which we'd been ignoring for some time. We decided to finally take action - searching Which and found Paul. He was round the same morning and completely solved all our problems. He gave us extremely helpful advice, taking the time to explain and demonstrate things to us in a way which was extremely accessible. He also greatly improved the security of our family - installing a far better lock in response to our concerns for the front door. All for an extremely reasonable price. Additionally he was extremely respectful of our home and very patient with our toddler! I contacted Paul because I wanted to upgrade the two locks on my front door to police/insurance approved standards and also deal with the fact that the door was generally hard to lock and unlock. Paul explained the options which included sending a video of one of the higher security options. He clearly set out the prices for labour and parts and that's exactly what I paid - there were no hidden extras. He contacted me half an hour before arrival and then did a fantastic job, cleaning up everything perfectly. I am so happy with the new locks and only wish I'd had it done sooner!

My door lock had been playing up a little for a few weeks but suddenly became worse and I was concerned I'd end up locked out and in an emergency situation. I contacted Paul and he came to me on his way home, within a couple of hours and without charging an emergency call out fee, and managed a temporary fix for me. A week later he came back to replace the lock mechanism. He was able to organise that the mechanism was repaired rather than replaced, and charged a very fair price for the work. Needed to replace a broken front door lock on my mother’s house. Spoke to Paul on Sunday and arranged a visit for Monday. Thomas turned up bang on time, understood what we needed and quickly and professionally replaced the lock. Could not have asked for a better service.

Paul sent Thomas to fix some worn and tired locks after I called him. Thomas quickly deduced that the front door locking mechanism was not the issue, the barrel was. It saved me buying a new lock and was an easy fix. Paul and Thomas replaced a few more locks for me after trying to find the best solution for me. The communication was excellent, I was always given notice in advance when they were coming and if there was a delay which meant I was not wasting my time. Highly recommended, very diligent and prompt.

Thomas changed our front door lock. He was on time, gave us a range of options, did the work efficiently and wasn’t over-priced. A good service.
