We needed some windows and doors replacing and having dealt with a number of companies over the years were very apprehensive due to previous poor service and shoddy workmanship. After much research we chose WGS glazing in Hull and East Yorkshire. Their reviews were all 5* and as we discovered with good reason. We applied on-line and an appointment was agreed for Ed. one of their directors to complete a survey of our requirements. H e was very knowledgeable, polite and helpful in assuring us that all their frames, glazing and doors were of top quality. Having agreed to go ahead with WGS we expected to have to wait for the work to begin with it being winter. The installation team had everything fitted within a few days without any need for us to repair plaster or decoration around the windows and doors. They were very efficient and even cleaned up afterwards including hoovering each area. Trish who dealt with the administration and appointments was most helpful and very pleasant to deal with. We strongly recommend WGS and award them 5 stars for workmanship, product quality and all aspects from start to finish.

Ed from WGS gave me his best price first time, there were no special offers that I must sign today to get like there was from the other large well know company that I got in to price for the works. The price from WGS was pretty much the same as the well known company I also got a quote from. I was hounded by the other company almost daily for an answer - very annoying. I held off doing any decoration works in the house as I knew that there would be some damage to the plasterwork from having the windows changed - this has always been my past experience. However the plasterwork is 100% perfect! They employ their own staff and not subcontractors. They don't race through the job banging in windows as quickly as possible. WGS take great care when installing the windows. They did an amazing job cleaning up after they had finished a room.

I contacted WGS Ltd as I had been let down by another contractor. From the outset I realised that this was a professional operation. At every stage from making the appointment, someone coming to my property, sending me a quotation and then contracts I was impressed with their professionalism, accuracy,helpfulness and courtesy. On the day the fitters were professional, considerate and friendly and I felt comfortable to be able to let them get on with the job while I was working. They were very tidy and left no mess behind them. I will definitely be using them for further work.
